Lazy Acers RV Park Introduce
For our users in Singapore exploring the diverse options within the category of "RV parks near me" with an eye towards potential future travels in the United States, understanding the nuances of different parks is crucial. Lazy Acers RV Park, located at 7502 Jackson Bend Rd, Lenoir City, TN 37772, USA, presents a mixed bag of experiences based on recent customer reviews, highlighting both positive aspects for long-term stays and significant concerns regarding communication and professionalism.
One long-term traveler who stayed for five months at Lazy Acers RV Park had an "incredible stay," describing it as "probably my favorite to date." This positive experience offers valuable insights into the potential benefits of choosing this park, particularly for extended visits. The reviewer specifically praised their site (#24) for its "great view of the Sunrise and a goat field," suggesting a pleasant and potentially scenic environment for some sites. The site was also noted as "level and easy to get into," which is a significant practical advantage for RV owners of various sizes and experience levels. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and the niceness of the laundry room were also highlighted, although the reviewer primarily used their own washer/dryer.
Further positive feedback from this long-term guest includes the overall cleanliness and quiet atmosphere of the entire campground. The long-term tenants are described as "very polite and sociable," fostering a potentially welcoming and friendly community environment, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a sense of belonging during an extended stay. The pricing was also considered "great," particularly for those who do not prioritize amenities like pools or playgrounds and appreciate not having to pay for them. This suggests that Lazy Acers RV Park might be a budget-friendly option compared to other "RV parks near me" that offer a wider range of facilities.
The positive reviewer also specifically commended "Carol and Staff," stating that despite having read poor reviews, they "NEVER had an issue." They described Carol as "great in every interaction" and noted that the staff maintained good communication, proactively reaching out with any issues or abnormal billing before sending a statement. This positive interaction with the management and staff stands in stark contrast to the negative experience reported by another customer.
In direct opposition to the positive feedback, another recent review details a "disappointing experience" characterized by "poor communication and a lack of professionalism." This customer's attempt to make a reservation spanned over six weeks and was marked by significant delays and eventual silence from the management. Initial contact was made in mid-December, with follow-up emails sent in January after weeks of no response. When a response finally came, basic information was requested and promptly provided, including details and photos of their rescue shepherd mix, as the park's pet policy was a factor in their assessment.
Despite providing all requested information promptly, communication abruptly ceased after January 22nd. The reviewer received "no decision, no additional questions, and no response from Carol—just complete silence." While they acknowledged that the park might have been evaluating their dog's suitability, they found the handling of the situation to be "completely unprofessional." They argued that a simple and timely response, even if it was a refusal, would have been more appropriate than wasting over six weeks of their time. This lack of responsiveness raises serious concerns about the park's communication practices and customer service.
Based on this negative experience, the reviewer suggests a potential reason for Lazy Acers RV Park being "less than half the cost of most other RV parks in the area," implying that the lower price might be reflective of the level of service and professionalism. They conclude that "even at that price, the lack of professionalism and responsiveness makes it simply not worth the hassle" for those who value clear communication and reliable service, strongly recommending booking elsewhere.
Considering the environment of Lazy Acers RV Park, the positive review offers glimpses of scenic views from certain sites (sunrise and a goat field) and indicates a generally clean and quiet campground. The presence of long-term tenants suggests a stable community. However, the negative review provides no information about the physical environment, focusing solely on the communication and booking process. Therefore, while some sites might offer pleasant views and the park is described as clean and quiet by one guest, there is no comprehensive picture of the overall environment, including the condition of common areas, landscaping, or the proximity of sites.
In terms of services, the positive review mentions clean bathrooms and a nice laundry room, although the reviewer primarily used their own facilities. This indicates the availability of these essential amenities. The fact that the long-term tenants were described as sociable suggests a potential sense of community, which can be considered a valuable service or feature for some. However, the negative review does not provide any information about the services offered by the park. To get a complete understanding of the services available (e.g., water, electricity, sewer hookups, Wi-Fi, trash disposal) and their reliability, direct contact with the park would be necessary.
Features mentioned in the positive review include level and easy-to-access sites, the absence of a pool and playground (which the reviewer appreciated as it kept costs down), and potentially scenic views from some sites. The quiet atmosphere and the presence of long-term residents who are polite and sociable could also be considered features contributing to a certain type of RV park experience. The negative review does not comment on the park's features. Therefore, the available information suggests a more basic park that prioritizes functionality and a quiet environment over extensive recreational amenities.
No specific promotional information is provided in either of the reviews. To learn about current rates, availability, and any special offers for short-term or long-term stays, interested parties would need to contact Lazy Acers RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers – (865) 986-3539 or mobile +1 865-986-3539. It would also be advisable to inquire about their reservation process and pet policies to avoid the communication issues experienced by the negative reviewer.
In conclusion, Lazy Acers RV Park in Lenoir City, Tennessee, appears to offer a clean and quiet environment with potentially scenic sites and a friendly long-term community, according to one reviewer who had a positive five-month stay. The pricing is also noted as being good, particularly for those who do not require extensive amenities. However, another recent experience highlights significant concerns regarding poor communication and a lack of professionalism in the reservation process. This discrepancy suggests that while some guests may have positive experiences, potential visitors should be aware of the possibility of encountering communication issues. It is recommended to contact the park directly to inquire about their reservation procedures and pet policies and to seek clarification on any aspects of their service before making a booking.

Lazy Acers RV Park Reviews
I had an incredible stay at LAZY ACRES RV Park. I travel for work, this 5 month stay was probably my favorite to date. My site #24 had a great view of the Sunrise and a goat field. Site was level and easy to get into. Bathrooms were clean, laundry room was nice (I primarily use my own washer/dryer).The entire campground was very clean, quiet, long term tenants were very polite and sociable. Pricing was great, I'm not one of a pool, playground, etc. so I'm always happy to not have to pay for that. 10/10 Stay.Carol and Staff - I read poor reviews, but I NEVER had an issue. Carol was great in every interaction. The staff kept in touch and reached out with any issues or abnormal billing prior to sending me a statement.
Apr 28, 2025 · Jake HoffmanPoor communication and then unresponsive – A disappointing experienceOur experience with Lazy Acres RV Park was defined by poor communication and a lack of professionalism. We first called on 12/18 and spoke with Carol, following up with an email the same day. While we didn’t formally request a reservation until 12/28, we had already established contact. On 12/30, we received a response stating they would follow up after the new year. That follow-up never came. After weeks of silence, we sent follow-up emails on 1/15 and 1/21. Only then did they respond, requesting basic information, which we promptly provided. Between 1/21 and 1/22, there was some back and forth regarding our reservation as well as our rescue shepherd mix, to which we answered all inquiries, including providing three photos of said rescue mix as requested on 1/22. After that, communication abruptly ceased. There was no decision, no additional questions, and no response from Carol—just complete silence. We understand that they may have been assessing whether our dog posed a liability, and we respect that process. However, the way it was handled was completely unprofessional. If they were unwilling to accommodate us for whatever reason, a simple, timely response would have been more appropriate instead of wasting more than six weeks of our time.Given this experience, we are inclined to believe there is a reason Lazy Acres is less than half the cost of most other RV parks in the area. However, even at that price, the lack of professionalism and responsiveness makes it simply not worth the hassle. If you value clear communication and reliable service, we strongly recommend booking elsewhere.
Feb 03, 2025 · Brittany KopfI can’t say enough about the management of lazy acres RV park. I showed up after a long day of driving after office hours. They saw me pull up in my RV and promptly came out to greet me as well as guide me to my lot and chitchat while filling out The paperwork.. Beautiful scenery, and not far off the freeway. I will definitely return when I pass this way.
Feb 27, 2025 · Nanette BryantWould have given 5 stars. My family was trying to enjoy a lovely weekend here and we were taken aback by the sheer amount of debauchery which took place around the park!Every where I looked were guests obsessed with "knocking boots." You know the old saying: "If this RV's a'rockin, don't come a'knockin?" Well... That's what happens at the Lazy Acers. Keep your gaze to yourself or you might just be helped to a view of a bare-chested sweaty peep show!!!!
Feb 22, 2025 · Brock SteeleThere are all good people here. Everyone is older and a tight-knit group. No noisy partyiers are allowed here.
