Express RV Park Introduce
For our users in Singapore exploring the vast landscape of "RV parks near me" with an eye towards potential future travels in the United States, understanding the spectrum of available options is key. Express RV Park, situated at 15100 TN-72, Loudon, TN 37774, USA, presents itself as a practical choice for RVers seeking a functional and convenient place to park, particularly for short stays or those prioritizing ease of access over extensive amenities.
Based on recent customer feedback, Express RV Park has both its strengths and areas where it might not meet the expectations of all travelers. A recurring positive note is the exceptional service provided by the property manager, Rick. One reviewer specifically mentioned that Rick was "fantastic, very friendly," highlighting his hospitality as a significant asset to the park. This personal touch can greatly enhance the overall experience, especially when arriving in a new location.
In terms of accessibility, the review stating, "We parked our 41foot 5th wheel without issues," is a crucial piece of information for owners of larger RVs. Navigating large rigs can be challenging, and knowing that Express RV Park can accommodate a 41-foot fifth wheel suggests that the park offers relatively easy ingress and egress, aligning with the needs of many seeking "RV parks near me" that can handle their vehicle size.
The same reviewer further noted that if you "need a quick hook up and a night stay it was perfect for us," underscoring the park's suitability for those in transit or requiring a temporary parking solution. This suggests that the essential hookups – likely including water, electricity, and sewer – are readily available and efficiently managed for a swift setup.
Another review echoes the positive sentiment regarding the management, describing the manager as "nice." This reinforces the impression of a welcoming and helpful on-site presence, which can be invaluable for addressing any questions or concerns during a stay. The same reviewer also pointed out that the park is "quiet," which can be a significant advantage for travelers seeking a peaceful night's rest away from busy roads or noisy environments. Additionally, the availability of a "decent restroom with showers" provides a basic but essential amenity for RVers, especially those who might be looking to conserve water in their own tanks or prefer more spacious facilities.
However, the reviews also bring to light some notable drawbacks. A significant concern raised is a persistent "SMELLS BAD OF URINE." The reviewer attributed this to a potential "pipe burst during the freezing temps" and noted that a "work order" had been put in to address the issue. While this suggests that the management is aware of the problem and taking steps to rectify it, prospective visitors should be aware of this recent experience. It's advisable to inquire about the status of this repair when contacting the park.
Another con mentioned is that "The park is very small, and campers are very close together, not much parking for your vehicle." This paints a picture of a potentially compact layout where space might be at a premium. For RVers accustomed to more spacious sites with ample room for their tow vehicle or additional parking, this could be a significant consideration. The proximity of campers might also impact privacy levels. Individuals prioritizing a secluded and spread-out camping experience when searching for "RV parks near me" might find this aspect less appealing.
Despite these drawbacks, the reviewer concludes that the park is "worth it for someone in need of a place to park and stay awhile." This suggests that for travelers prioritizing functionality, ease of access, and a helpful manager over aesthetics and spaciousness, Express RV Park can still be a viable option, particularly given its apparent affordability or convenience for a specific travel route.
Regarding the environment, the review mentions that "The place is not attractive," contrasting with the potential natural beauty one might associate with some "RV parks near me." This suggests a more utilitarian setting, perhaps prioritizing functionality over landscaping or scenic views. While the exact surroundings of the park in Loudon, Tennessee, are not detailed, the focus seems to be more on providing essential services rather than an immersive natural experience.
In terms of services, we can infer the presence of basic hookups (water, electricity, sewer) due to the mention of "quick hook up." The "decent restroom with showers" indicates the availability of these facilities. However, there is no mention of other common RV park amenities such as laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, recreational areas, or pet-specific provisions. It's likely that Express RV Park focuses on the fundamental needs of overnight or short-term RV stays.
Features appear to be limited, with the primary focus being on accessibility and basic utilities. The small size and close proximity of campers suggest a lack of expansive common areas or unique features that might draw visitors for longer stays or recreational purposes. The positive mention of the manager could be considered a key feature, as helpful and friendly staff can significantly impact the overall perception of a stay, even in a more basic setting.
No specific promotional information was provided in the reviews. Therefore, it would be prudent for anyone considering a stay at Express RV Park to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers – (865) 458-8599 or mobile +1 865-458-8599 – to inquire about current rates, availability, and the status of the reported urine smell issue. You can also get a better sense of the park's layout and any specific policies by speaking with the manager directly.
In conclusion, Express RV Park in Loudon, Tennessee, as described by recent visitors, offers a practical and convenient option for RVers, particularly those seeking an easy overnight stop with essential hookups and a friendly manager. While it may lack the aesthetic appeal and spaciousness of some other "RV parks near me," its ease of access for large rigs and the positive feedback regarding the manager make it a worthwhile consideration for travelers prioritizing functionality and efficiency. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported odor issue and the compact nature of the park and are encouraged to contact Express RV Park directly for the most up-to-date information before making a booking.

Rick the property guy was fantastic, very friendly. The place is not attractive, but effective. We parked our 41foot 5th wheel without issues. If you need a quick hook up and a night stay it was perfect for us. Thank you Rick for your hospitality.
Dec 22, 2024 · Michelle TschuppThe Pros: Nice manager, quiet park, decent restroom with showers. The Cons: SMELLS BAD OF URINE, but I heard there was a pipe burst during the freezing temps and they got a work order put in to fix it. The park is very small, and campers are very close together, not much parking for your vehicle. But it's worth it for someone in need of a place to park and stay awhile.
Feb 02, 2024 · Jackie ArellanoGreat spot off the Loudon Hey 72 exit. Not a full site however it is 20kins from Knoxville and 10mins from Lenoir City. It's quiet and there is a dump station and shower room.
Apr 26, 2021 · Tbone LemonsOwner could use an attitude adjustment. Lot rent is ridiculous, considering the bath house is accessible by key only, which you have to ask for each time. Time limited on bath house access. Lots are so small and compact. Only good things are location and friendly neighbors.
Jun 22, 2023 · Carrie FaithThe park is next to a motel where large semi trailers with refrigerator containers are parked for the night and their generator works all night. If you like a quiet place check in advance if semi trailers will be there at night. Otherwise stay away from this place. The people at the office were very nice at registration but stay away from the rude night shift clerk.Showers are not probably maintained. Internet connection is good.
