Rolling Hills Introduce
If you are looking for "RV parks near me" in the Morgantown, West Virginia area, Rolling Hills, located at 1758 Mileground Rd, Morgantown, WV 26505, USA, is primarily a mobile home park that may also offer accommodations for RVs. You can contact them at (304) 291-3100 or their mobile number, +1 304-291-3100, to inquire about their policies and availability for RVs.
Based on the available customer reviews, Rolling Hills presents a mixed but informative picture. One resident who recently purchased a 2021 mobile home in the park highlights several positive aspects relevant to those seeking "RV parks near me" as well. They mention that their lot backs onto a wooded area, providing more space and a quieter setting. The park is described as "well kept" with "friendly people," and it is noted as being conducive to walking pets on leashes. For individuals who prefer a flatter terrain for walking, this reviewer found Rolling Hills suitable. They also mentioned an "activity area," although they were waiting for better weather to use it, suggesting the presence of some recreational facilities within the park. While they noted a slight inconvenience with the school bus stop, they overall expressed contentment with their move.
From this positive feedback, we can infer that Rolling Hills offers a relatively peaceful environment, potentially with some natural surroundings. The emphasis on being "well kept" suggests that the park management takes care of the grounds, which is often a desirable trait for RV parks as well. The friendly atmosphere and the allowance of leashed pets are also significant positives for many RV travelers. The mention of an activity area hints at potential amenities that could be available to all residents, including any RV guests.
However, another review presents a contrasting perspective, stating that there are "too many rules" and mentioning "issues with dogs" and "lot rent high." While the comment about lot rent might be more pertinent to permanent mobile home residents, the concern about "too many rules" and "issues with dogs" could also impact RV visitors. It suggests that the park might have stringent regulations that could be either beneficial (ensuring order and quiet) or restrictive, depending on individual preferences and circumstances. The specific nature of the "issues with dogs" is not detailed, so it's unclear whether this pertains to certain breeds, size limits, or other related policies.
Considering these differing viewpoints, potential RV visitors searching for "RV parks near me" should weigh the benefits of a potentially quiet, well-maintained environment with friendly people and possible recreational facilities against the possibility of strict rules and potential concerns regarding pets. It underscores the importance of contacting Rolling Hills directly to understand their specific policies for RVs and to determine if the environment and regulations align with your expectations.
Morgantown, WV, the location of Rolling Hills, is a dynamic city offering a range of attractions and services. Mileground Road, where the park is situated, is a known thoroughfare in the area, suggesting relatively easy access to local amenities. Choosing Rolling Hills as one of your "RV parks near me" could provide a convenient base to explore Morgantown and the surrounding region.
To ascertain whether Rolling Hills is a suitable choice for your RV needs, it is crucial to inquire about several factors when you contact them:
- Do they accommodate RVs? If so, what are the terms (daily, weekly, monthly)?
- What types of RV hookups are available (electricity, water, sewer)?
- What are the parking arrangements for RVs?
- Are RV guests allowed to use the activity area mentioned in the review?
- What are their specific rules and regulations that might apply to RV guests, particularly regarding pets?
Without answers to these questions, it remains unclear how well Rolling Hills caters to the needs of RV travelers. While the positive review highlights some appealing aspects of the community, the mention of numerous rules and potential dog-related issues suggests the need for further clarification.
In conclusion, Rolling Hills, a mobile home park in Morgantown, WV, presents itself as a potential option for those seeking "RV parks near me." It appears to offer a well-kept and relatively quiet environment with friendly residents and possible recreational amenities. However, there are also mentions of strict rules and potential issues concerning dogs. Local users looking for RV accommodations are advised to contact Rolling Hills directly at (304) 291-3100 or +1 304-291-3100 to inquire about their specific RV policies, amenities, and rates to make an informed decision.
When searching for "RV parks near me," gathering comprehensive information is key. By reaching out to Rolling Hills, you can gain a better understanding of whether their offerings align with your preferences and requirements for an RV stay in the Morgantown area. Be sure to ask about all the factors that are important to you, such as hookups, pet policies, and any recreational facilities available to RV guests.

Rolling Hills Reviews
Bought a 2021 mobile home in Rolling Hills. Lot is against trees setting, more space, quiet, well kept, friendly people, great pets walked on leaches, being older I needed a place flat to walk, this is it. Waiting for weather to clear to use activity area. School bus stop a bit inconvenient yet not unreasonable. My granddaughter and I are home. Smile
