St. Clair's Village Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Morgantown, West Virginia area and are open to considering mobile home parks for potential long-term RV stays, St. Clair's Village, located at 1 St clair's, Bakers Ridge Rd, Morgantown, WV 26505, USA, is one such option that appears in listings. While primarily a mobile home park, some such communities do accommodate RVs for extended periods, offering a different type of residential experience compared to traditional RV campgrounds.
The environment of St. Clair's Village, based on the limited customer reviews available, presents a somewhat concerning picture regarding the upkeep and quality of the housing. One recent resident who "just moved" states that the "quality is basically bad" and reports having a mice infestation in their household. This individual's experience of requesting pest control and feeling that their issue was not adequately addressed raises questions about the overall maintenance and living conditions within the community. Another former resident, who lived at the facility and needed to break their lease, mentions "lots of things that need to be fully replaced such as the deck and the stairs," as well as "all sorts of issues in all the buildings with animal abuse and pipe leaks and flooding etc." These comments suggest potential structural and maintenance issues within the community that prospective residents, including RV dwellers if permitted, should be aware of.
Services and features at St. Clair's Village are not explicitly detailed in the reviews in the context of RV living. However, based on the nature of mobile home parks, one might expect basic infrastructure such as individual lots with potential utility hookups (electricity, water, and sewer). The availability and capacity of these hookups for RVs would need to be verified directly with the management. The reviews do not mention typical RV park amenities like laundry facilities, communal restrooms or showers, or recreational areas specifically for RV guests. The focus of the reviews is on the condition of the mobile homes and the responsiveness of the management to resident issues.
One recurring theme in the reviews is related to the management. The first reviewer's difficulty in getting pest control suggests potential issues with responsiveness. The second former resident highlights a significant problem with communication regarding a payment arrangement after breaking their lease, describing the lack of response as "really shady." This raises concerns about the efficiency and transparency of the management's communication with residents. However, this same reviewer does offer a contrasting positive note, stating that "keli was super nice," suggesting that at least one member of the management team is perceived favorably.
The second review also mentions future rent increases, stating that "the rent prices plan to increase and the apartments are not worth the amount that the place is asking for." While this comment is directed at apartment rentals, it could also be indicative of the overall pricing structure and value proposition within St. Clair's Village, which would be relevant for potential RV residents as well.
Considering St. Clair's Village as one of the "RV parks near me" for a potentially long-term stay requires careful consideration of the issues raised in the customer reviews. The reported problems with property quality, pest infestations, maintenance neglect, and communication difficulties are significant red flags. While one positive comment about a specific staff member exists, the overall sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction with the living conditions and management responsiveness.
To determine if St. Clair's Village accommodates RVs and to understand the specific terms and conditions, it is essential to contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers: (304) 241-1116 and +1 304-241-1116. Key questions to ask would include:
- Does St. Clair's Village permit long-term stays for RVs?
- What are the requirements and restrictions for RVs (size, type, age)?
- What is the availability of RV lots, and what are their dimensions?
- What are the specifics of the utility hookups available at RV lots (electrical amperage, water, sewer)?
- What is the monthly or long-term rental rate for RV lots, and what services are included?
- What are the lease terms and conditions for RV residents?
- What community rules and regulations apply to RV residents?
- Are there any amenities accessible to RV residents (e.g., laundry, restrooms, showers)?
- What is the management's policy on maintenance and addressing resident concerns, especially in light of the issues raised in the reviews?
There is no promotional information available in the provided data. The reviews, while offering some insight into resident experiences, do not serve as positive endorsements for the community as a whole. Therefore, prospective RV residents must rely heavily on their direct communication with the management and a potential visit to the property to assess its suitability.
Morgantown, West Virginia, is a larger city compared to some other locations where mobile home parks might be found, offering a wider range of amenities and services. The location on Bakers Ridge Rd suggests it might be slightly outside the immediate downtown area but still within reasonable proximity to the city's resources. The specific neighborhood and surrounding environment of St. Clair's Village would need to be evaluated to determine its appeal.
In conclusion, while St. Clair's Village is an option to consider when searching for "RV parks near me" in the Morgantown, WV area, the available customer reviews raise significant concerns about the quality of the living conditions and the responsiveness of the management. Prospective RV residents should approach this option with caution and conduct thorough due diligence through direct communication with the management. It is crucial to address the issues highlighted in the reviews and to gain a clear understanding of the services, features, and overall environment offered to RV dwellers before making any decisions about a long-term stay.

St. Clair's Village Reviews
I just moved quality is basically bad. I had mice in my household. I called Kelly to see if I could get someone to show up to put down traps. I have mice traps to get the mice out of my house? Crazy that she requested a guy to show up up but no one never didn't
Dec 09, 2023 · Javon BlountWe were living at this facility and needed to break the lease due to family reasons on May 1st 2023. We have been trying to get a response for almost two weeks in regards to setting up a payment arrangement for the remainder of the balance and we both have been ignored. This seems really shady to me because I will take this to court if they try to do an eviction after we already broke the lease. I will also have to say that up until this point we didnt mind the apartment but there was lots of things that need to be fully replaced such as the deck and the stairs. There were all sorts of issues in all the buildings with animal abuse and pipe leaks and flooding etc. i will also say though that keli was super nice. However the rent prices plan to increase and the apartments are not worth the amount that the place is asking for. Keli is the only reason this place doesnt get a 1 star.
