Are you searching for exceptional "RV parks near me" in the Woodville, Alabama region? Consider RV Park foothills near eric, located at 115 Parnell Cir, Woodville, AL 35776, USA. This RV park has garnered both positive and negative feedback online, providing a nuanced picture for potential visitors seeking a place to stay. By examining these reviews, we can offer a detailed introduction to the park's environment, services, and features to help local users make informed decisions.
One positive aspect frequently mentioned about RV Park foothills near eric is its pleasant and well-maintained environment. One reviewer described it as a "lovely, quite, well kept park," highlighting the care and attention given to the grounds. This suggests that visitors can expect a clean and orderly setting during their stay, contributing to a more enjoyable experience.
The owners of the RV park have also received positive remarks for their responsiveness and demeanor. The same reviewer noted that "the owners are lovely, and very responsive!" This indicates that the management is attentive to the needs of their guests and likely provides good customer service. Prompt and friendly communication can be crucial for a smooth and stress-free RV park experience.
RV Park foothills near eric offers a selection of amenities aimed at enhancing the stay of its visitors. According to one review, the park features a "great salt water pool in season" and a putt putt course. These recreational facilities can provide entertainment and relaxation for guests of all ages, adding value to the overall experience, especially during warmer months. The presence of these amenities suggests an effort to create a welcoming and engaging environment beyond just the basic RV hookups.
The location of RV Park foothills near eric is also a significant advantage for those looking to explore the surrounding area. The park is conveniently situated "minutes from Cathedral Caverns," a notable local attraction. Furthermore, it is within a reasonable driving distance for "a short day trip from Chattanooga or Ruby Falls," offering opportunities for broader exploration and sightseeing in the region. For those interested in urban amenities, "plenty of shopping in Huntsville, with a great park in Hampton Cove," is also easily accessible. Additionally, a trip in the other direction leads to "Scottsboro and Unclaimed Baggage," a unique and popular destination. This strategic location makes the RV park a suitable base for various interests, from natural wonders to shopping and recreational parks.
However, it is essential to consider all feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of the RV park. One concerning review raises a significant issue regarding the park's policies towards children. This reviewer recounts an alleged incident where the owner informed their boyfriend's nanny and grandparent that the lot was rented to adults, seemingly discouraging visits from grandchildren, even mentioning an "entire arcade" on the premises which contradicts a "not for kids" sentiment. The reviewer expressed strong disapproval of this alleged policy, stating they would give the place zero stars if possible and that their family would cease all business with the park. This feedback suggests a potentially unwelcoming atmosphere for families with children or those expecting visits from grandchildren, which could be a major deterrent for a significant portion of potential users.
Another point of consideration, mentioned in one of the positive reviews, is the quality of technological services. The reviewer noted that "Wifi and cell service aren't great." In an increasingly connected world, this could be a drawback for travelers who rely on internet access for work, communication, or entertainment. While the reviewer suggested turning off devices and enjoying the amenities, this limitation is worth noting for those who require reliable connectivity.
Lastly, the proximity of the RV park to a highway may result in some noise. The reviewer mentioned, "There's a little noise if your close to the highway but nothing ear plugs or a white noise machine can't mend." While this was not a major issue for this particular guest, it is something to be aware of, especially for those sensitive to traffic sounds. The level of noise might vary depending on the specific campsite location within the park.
In summary, RV Park foothills near eric offers a mixed experience based on the available reviews. On the positive side, it appears to be a "lovely, quite, well kept park" with responsive owners and appealing amenities such as a salt water pool and putt putt. Its location provides convenient access to natural attractions like Cathedral Caverns and allows for day trips to Chattanooga, Huntsville, and Scottsboro. However, a significant concern has been raised regarding the park's alleged stance on children visiting, which could be a major drawback for families. Additionally, the limited wifi and cell service, as well as potential highway noise, are factors that prospective visitors should consider based on their individual needs and preferences.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Woodville, AL area, RV Park foothills near eric presents a location with several appealing features and a strategic position for exploring regional attractions. However, it is crucial to weigh the reported negative experiences, particularly concerning the alleged restrictions on children, against the positive aspects of the park's environment and amenities. Potential visitors with families or those who anticipate visits from grandchildren may want to seek further clarification on the park's policies before making a reservation.

Owner told my boyfriend’s nanny and paw that they rented the lot out to adults not kids and was telling them they can’t have their grandkids over there and outside. Just thought everyone should know this. They don’t like kids apparently. “Not for kids” but they have an entire arcade. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. There’s no reason they should tell anyone they can’t have their grandkids over anymore. They will be leaving this place and best bet they won’t be getting any money or business from my family or his.
May 29, 2024 · Kylie AdkinsWhat a lovely, quite, well kept park. The owners are lovely, and very responsive! Wifi and cell service aren't great but there's putt putt and a great salt water pool in season, so just turn the devices off. There's a little noise if your close to the highway but nothing ear plugs or a white noise machine can't mend. We really liked this park and all the surrounding areas. You're minutes from Cathedral Caverns, and a short day trip from Chattanooga or Ruby Falls. If that's not your jam plenty of shopping in Huntsville, with a great park in Hampton Cove, or head the other direction to Scottsboro and hit up Unclaimed Baggage.
Oct 01, 2021 · Hanna VojtushWe stayed here when traveling to a family wedding. We arrived 2 minutes before the check in cut off and we were still greeted with a smile and fantastic hospitality. When the LYFT that we had scheduled to take us to the wedding 5 miles away cancelled--at pick up time---we called the office in a panic and within 5 minutes the OWNER of the campground came and picked us up and took us to the wedding and she had to make 2 trips because there were 6 of us AND it was pouring rain. Hospitality could not be beat. The campground was clean and well kept. They also own the Log Cabin restaurant and gas station down the street. These folks were terrific!
Jun 20, 2021 · Tammy JonesWe had a nice time at the Parnell Creek RV Park. Our daughter was in space camp and this park is about 20 mins away. The lady who runs it is very nice and accommodating. The sites are nice, a lot of them are pull through. There is a fenced dog run. The pool is wonderful, clean and refreshing in the AL heat. We hope to come back another time.
Jul 20, 2020 · Renee WebbWe came to Alabama to visit family and found this gem. It's right off the highway and in between two big areas. The owners are an inspiration working the camp and the Log Cabin Store. Long days but they are nailing it. Clean park, nice pool and a friendly welcome. We will definitely stay here again.
