Crawford RV Park Introduce
Local users in the Scottsboro, Alabama area who are currently searching for "RV parks near me" will find Crawford RV Park, located at 4320 S Broad St, as a potential option. This introduction aims to provide a detailed yet objective overview of the park based on the limited information available online, primarily consisting of its location and a couple of recent customer reviews. By combining the address with general knowledge of the area and analyzing the provided feedback, we can offer a balanced perspective to help local users make informed decisions about their RV accommodation needs.
The environment surrounding Crawford RV Park can be inferred to some extent from its address in Scottsboro, AL. Scottsboro is situated in Jackson County, known for its proximity to the Tennessee River and the scenic beauty of the Appalachian foothills. The mention of being "close to food and shopping" in one of the reviews suggests that the park is likely located within or in close proximity to the commercial areas of Scottsboro, offering convenient access to essential amenities and services. This could be a significant advantage for long-term residents or those who appreciate having easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and other retail establishments. However, the review also notes that the park is "quite," indicating that despite its proximity to commercial areas, it might still offer a relatively peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Without further information, the specific layout of the park, the presence of natural features within the park itself, or the overall aesthetic cannot be described in detail. Local users who prioritize either immediate access to urban conveniences or a more secluded natural setting may need to investigate further to determine if Crawford RV Park aligns with their preferences.
Information regarding the specific services offered at Crawford RV Park is somewhat limited. One positive review mentions "full hookups" in passing (as it refers to the park as a "very affordable long term park," implying it caters to those needing such services for extended stays), which is a standard and crucial offering for most RV parks, including connections for electricity, water, and sewer. However, the reviews do not explicitly detail other potential services such as laundry facilities, restrooms and showers, Wi-Fi access, recreational areas, or on-site management availability. The lack of negative comments regarding essential services might suggest that the basics are provided, but the extent and quality of additional amenities remain unknown based on the current data. Local users with specific service requirements (e.g., high-speed internet, a swimming pool, a pet area) would need to contact the park directly to inquire about the availability and quality of these amenities.
The features of Crawford RV Park can be partially gleaned from the customer reviews. One notable feature mentioned is its affordability for long-term stays, making it an attractive option for those planning to reside in the Scottsboro area for an extended period. The positive review also highlights the helpfulness and friendliness of someone named Travis, presumably a staff member, which suggests a positive aspect of the park's management and customer service. The quiet atmosphere, despite its proximity to commercial areas, is another potential feature that could appeal to those seeking a peaceful living environment. However, the second review presents a significant concern, stating that the park is "not in great shape" and that "Tennant's have been allowed to leave accumulated items in piles outside." This suggests a potential issue with the overall maintenance and aesthetic appeal of the park, which could be a significant drawback for some users. The presence of long-term tenants, as implied by the affordable long-term rates, could foster a sense of community, but the issue of accumulated items outside sites needs to be considered. Further information regarding lot sizes, the layout of the park, and any specific rules or regulations concerning the upkeep of individual sites and common areas would be beneficial for prospective residents.
In terms of promotional information, the most prominent aspect from the reviews is its affordability for long-term stays. The positive feedback regarding the helpfulness of the staff member, Travis, could also be considered a positive point of promotion, suggesting a welcoming and supportive environment. The quiet location with convenient access to food and shopping presents a balanced appeal for those who value both tranquility and accessibility. However, the negative review concerning the park's condition and the accumulation of items outside tenants' spaces significantly counteracts any positive promotional aspects derived from the other review. Potential long-term residents who prioritize affordability and convenience might still consider Crawford RV Park, but they should be aware of the reported maintenance issues. For short-term visitors or those particularly sensitive to the aesthetic condition of an RV park, the negative feedback is a crucial point of consideration. Any further promotional efforts by the park management would ideally address the concerns raised in the negative review and highlight any improvements made.
Considering the conflicting feedback, local users searching for "RV parks near me" should approach Crawford RV Park with a balanced perspective. The affordability and convenient location near amenities are definite advantages, particularly for long-term stays. The positive interaction with the staff member is also a good sign. However, the reported issues with the park's overall condition and the accumulation of items outside tenants' spaces are significant concerns that should not be overlooked. It is highly recommended that prospective residents or visitors contact Crawford RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers – (256) 574-5366 or +1 256-574-5366 – to inquire about the current condition of the park, the services and amenities offered, and any policies regarding the upkeep of individual sites. A personal visit to the park, if feasible, would also be a prudent step to assess its environment and overall condition firsthand before making a decision.
In conclusion, Crawford RV Park in Scottsboro, AL, appears to be an affordable option, particularly for long-term RV stays, and offers a convenient location near food and shopping while maintaining a quiet atmosphere. The helpfulness of the staff has also been noted positively. However, a concerning review indicates that the park is "not in great shape" with tenants reportedly leaving accumulated items outside. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should weigh the potential benefits of affordability and convenience against the reported maintenance issues. Direct communication with the park management to address these concerns and gather more detailed information about the services, features, and current condition is strongly recommended before making a decision about staying at Crawford RV Park.

Feb 04, 2025 · Pamela “Pam” BlackPretty down to earth rv park. Haven't heard of any stealing here, everyone is super friendly, and to top it off the landlord isn't scared to get his hands dirty if someone wants to beat on women. Great little park
Aug 12, 2024 · Marc DanielsQuiet peaceful place. Travis is more than willing to help you in any way. If you have a big rig you want to make sure they have a space large enough. It is a by the month only park. Also a pretty steep road to get to some of the sites. I have a 40ft 5th wheel and my Chevy 3500 with 4 wheel drive had all it wanted to get me into the site.
