As a mobile home park, its primary focus is on providing long-term residential living for manufactured homes. When considering locations for your RV or as a potential long-term residence, it's essential to gather information from various sources. While specific details about RV-oriented amenities and services at Sewickley Pines Manor are not readily available online, we can provide an objective overview based on its nature as a mobile home park and the feedback found in online reviews.
Typically, mobile home parks offer a community living environment with individual lots designed for manufactured homes. These lots generally include essential utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewage, which are also necessary for many RVs. Nevertheless, the specific capacity and compatibility of these hookups for RVs can vary. It is crucial to directly verify these details with the park management to ensure they meet the requirements of your recreational vehicle.
Regarding the environment, Sewickley Pines Manor is located in West Newton, Pennsylvania. The immediate surroundings and overall aesthetic of the park are areas where online reviews offer contrasting perspectives. One reviewer describes the trailer park as being "worse of an eye sore than McKeesport," which is a strong negative assessment of its visual appeal. This suggests that the park may not be the most aesthetically pleasing option. However, another reviewer noted that as of September 2018, the park was bought by a new owner who "started to clean the up getting old trailers out of here," indicating an effort towards improvement.
In terms of services and features, standard mobile home parks typically provide basic infrastructure such as internal roadways. Amenities specifically tailored for RVs, such as dedicated dump stations, recreational facilities designed for travelers, or organized activities, are not mentioned in the available information for Sewickley Pines Manor. If these types of features are important for your RV living experience, it is essential to directly inquire with the park management about their availability.
The online reviews provide insights into the park's management history and current situation. One reviewer mentioned that after the new ownership in September 2018, Century 21 Fairways was hired for management, where residents would pay rent and report issues. However, this arrangement seemed to have communication problems, with discrepancies between what Century 21 would say and the actual owners' directives. The reviewer also suggested potential issues with rent record-keeping by Century 21. Importantly, the review notes that "as of November 20th 2019 we have a very nice couple that own it so far so good," indicating a change in ownership and a potentially positive shift in management.
The first review also raises serious concerns about the well-being of children residing in the park and the alleged inaction of child services. While this is a significant issue mentioned by a reviewer, it is crucial to remember that this is a single anecdotal report and may not reflect the overall environment of the park. However, it is a point to be aware of.
When considering Sewickley Pines Manor as a potential option for "RV parks near me," it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence. Your inquiries to the park management should include:
- Availability of lots suitable for RVs and any size restrictions that may apply.
- The specific utility hookups available at potential RV lots (electrical amperage, water connection details, sewage disposal).
- The monthly or long-term rental rates for RVs, including any additional fees for utilities or other services.
- The park's rules and regulations concerning RVs, including parking guidelines, maintenance expectations for RVs, and pet policies.
- The presence and condition of any amenities that might be relevant for RVers.
- Inquire about the current management and their approach to park maintenance and resident relations, especially in light of the past issues mentioned in the reviews.
- Seek clarification on the efforts made towards improving the aesthetic appeal of the park since the new ownership in late 2019.
Understanding the community aspect is also important. The reviews offer contrasting views, with one focusing on the park's appearance and another on management issues and a serious social concern. The more recent feedback about the new owners being "very nice" suggests a potential for a more positive community environment moving forward. If possible, attempting to speak with current residents could provide a more up-to-date understanding of the park's atmosphere.
Promotional information for Sewickley Pines Manor is not available in the provided data. Any special offers or incentives for new residents, including RVers, would need to be obtained through direct contact with the management.
In conclusion, Sewickley Pines Manor in West Newton, PA, presents a mobile home park that warrants careful consideration for those seeking "RV parks near me." The online reviews highlight past issues with the park's appearance and management, but also indicate positive changes with new ownership as of late 2019. Due to this mixed feedback, it is strongly advised to contact the park management directly to assess its current condition, suitability for RVs, and management practices. An in-person visit might also be beneficial to evaluate the environment firsthand and determine if Sewickley Pines Manor meets your specific needs and expectations for an RV living experience in the West Newton area.

Sewickley Pines Manor Reviews
My aunt lives her and this trailer park is worse of an eye sore than McKeesport. There is also a family who is squatting in an abandoned trailer who doesn't treat their kids well at all, but child services turns their heads since they probably give them some drugs to keep their nose out of thier business.
Mar 25, 2019 · GeorgeIts getting to be a better place to live september 2018 it was bought buy a hpd flip out of Philly and they started to clean the up getting old trailers out of here, but was not always on top of things. they hired century 21 fairways as management to go pay rent and if there was and issue. Well cen21 would say one thing then yhe ownwers another. And i think someone at cen21 wasn't keeping peoples rent papers in order cause they say u owe u call the actual owner and say u did and show proof i just think they didnt communicate as they should of. And now as of November 20th 2019 we have a very nice couple that own it so far so good so in time we will see what happens .

Aug 11, 2022 · Robin LeeseThis mobile home park needs a lot of work! There are trees destroying the homes, and the people running it are not the greatest people to deal with!
