Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park Introduce
Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park is located at 10 Shady Oaks Ln, Duncan, OK 73533, USA. While the name suggests an RV park with a lake view, and it may appear under the platform category of “RV parks near me,” the limited information available through online reviews paints a concerning picture for potential visitors and residents. You can contact the park at (580) 255-7042 or +1 580-255-7042 for further information, but it is crucial to consider the experiences shared by previous individuals.
One of the initial pieces of information gathered from a review indicates a potential access issue. A prospective visitor stated, “Came here to see what it was like and gate is shut with private property-no trespassing signs all over. Signs are still up on the highway though. Dont waste your time coming here if you are planning to.” This suggests that the park might not be readily accessible to newcomers or that there may be discrepancies between the signage on the highway and the actual accessibility of the property. This could lead to frustration and a wasted trip for those intending to visit or stay at Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park.
The second review provides a significantly negative account of the park's management and overall atmosphere. The reviewer strongly advises, “Do not stay here!” and describes the individual who runs the place as “not only one of the most hateful people I have ever met.” Such strong language and negative personal assessment of the management are serious concerns for anyone considering staying at this park. A hostile or unpleasant management can significantly detract from the overall living or visiting experience.
The reviewer further elaborates on specific negative interactions with the management, stating that the manager “jumps to conclusions, and will jump down your throat if your water has even the slightest drip.” This suggests a confrontational and unreasonable approach to minor issues that are common in RV living or mobile home settings. Such behavior can create a stressful and unwelcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.
A particularly troubling anecdote involves an accusation regarding water usage during freezing temperatures. The reviewer recounts, “...then jumped down my throat for leaving water dripping inside during freezing nights... I HAD NOT EVEN BEEN DOING THAT, MY WATER HAD BEEN FROZEN UP FOR A WEEK I WAS USING BOTTLED WATER!” This accusation, which the reviewer vehemently denies, highlights a lack of trust and a tendency by the management to make assumptions without verifying the facts. This type of interaction can be deeply upsetting and damaging to the relationship between the park management and the residents or guests.
Based on this overwhelmingly negative personal experience, the reviewer concludes, “These people are just jerks and if u have any self respect you will not stay there.” This strong and direct condemnation serves as a significant warning to potential visitors and residents, suggesting that the negative interactions experienced were severe enough to warrant such a strong recommendation against staying at Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park.
Given the limited information and the highly negative nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to provide a detailed description of the environment, services, and features of Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park. The reviews primarily focus on issues related to accessibility and, more significantly, the negative interactions with the park management. There is no information provided regarding the physical layout of the park, the types of RV sites available, the amenities offered (such as hookups, laundry facilities, restrooms, or recreational areas), or the overall atmosphere beyond the unpleasant interactions described.
The name “Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park” suggests a potentially pleasant environment with trees and a view of a lake. However, without any positive descriptions or confirmations of these features in the available reviews, it is impossible to ascertain the accuracy of the name's implications. The negative experiences reported with the management could overshadow any potential positive aspects of the physical environment.
Similarly, there is no information available regarding any services offered at the park beyond the basic expectation of RV site hookups. The negative review focuses entirely on the management's behavior and accusations, providing no insight into the functionality or quality of any services that might be available. Potential visitors would need to contact the park directly to inquire about specific amenities, but should do so with caution, keeping the reported negative experiences in mind.
Features of the park, such as the size of the lots, the presence of shade trees, lake access, or any recreational facilities, are also not mentioned in the limited review information. Therefore, it is impossible to provide an objective overview of the park's features based solely on these accounts. Any assumptions based on the park's name would be speculative and not supported by the available user experiences.
Finally, there is no promotional information available for Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park in the provided reviews. Given the negative feedback, it is unlikely that the reviewers would be aware of or inclined to share any promotional offers. Potential visitors would need to contact the park directly to inquire about rates, availability, and any special deals, but again, should proceed with caution due to the reported issues with management.
In conclusion, based on the limited but strongly negative information available from online reviews, Shady Oaks Lakeview RV Park appears to have significant issues related to accessibility and, most notably, highly unprofessional and unpleasant management. The negative experiences reported by a former visitor strongly suggest that prospective guests and residents should exercise extreme caution and seriously consider these accounts before deciding to stay at or visit this park. The lack of positive feedback and the serious nature of the complaints warrant thorough investigation and consideration of alternative “RV parks near me” in the Duncan, Oklahoma area that have more positive and reliable reviews.
