Shibby RV Living Introduce
Welcome to Shibby RV Living, located at 701 S Frontage Rd, Fountain Inn, SC 29644, USA. For local users searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, Shibby RV Living offers a straightforward option for RV parking. You can reach them at (864) 733-9956 or their mobile number, +1 864-733-9956.
As you explore "RV Parks Near Me," it's essential to find a location that meets your specific needs. Shibby RV Living presents itself as a functional option, particularly for those seeking temporary accommodation due to work or as a brief stopover during travel. However, based on recent customer reviews, it's important to have a clear understanding of the park's offerings and limitations.
One recurring theme in the feedback is the pricing structure. According to a long-term guest who stayed monthly, the rate of $850-$900 per month is perceived as high relative to the available amenities. This suggests that while electric hookups are included, the overall value proposition might not align with the cost for all users, especially those seeking a wider range of facilities.
Regarding amenities, Shibby RV Living is described as having a minimal offering. The Wi-Fi service is reported to be unreliable or "worthless." While the parking lots or sites are graveled, the park lacks shade trees, which could be a significant consideration during warmer months. Furthermore, there are no recreational facilities such as a park, a dog park that is reportedly poorly maintained, or a swimming pool. The absence of an on-site store for propane or basic RV supplies means that guests will need to source these necessities elsewhere.
Additionally, the park does not provide doggy posts with waste bags and containers, nor does it have bathhouses for guest use. These are important factors for RV travelers who rely on such amenities for convenience and hygiene.
One positive aspect highlighted in the reviews is the presence of a small but clean and functional laundry facility. This can be a valuable amenity for both short-term and long-term guests needing to take care of laundry needs.
Another significant point raised by a reviewer relates to park management and rule enforcement. It is mentioned that at least two long-term tenants are allegedly in "extreme violations of park rules," yet these same individuals reportedly take it upon themselves to report other guests for minor infractions such as perceived speeding or noise levels. Furthermore, these tenants are described as having unauthorized exterior structures, dog kennels, freezers, parking on the grass, and one instance of a portable washer draining gray water onto the ground and into a neighboring property with a waterway, which is an environmental concern.
One reviewer categorizes Shibby RV Living as a "Parking Lot" style RV park. This classification suggests a primary focus on maximizing the number of parking spaces for profit, potentially at the expense of investing in guest experiences and amenities. The pads are described as small and tightly spaced to accommodate as many RVs as possible. This layout might not appeal to those seeking more spacious or resort-style accommodations.
Based on this objective assessment from user reviews, Shibby RV Living appears to be best suited for individuals who need a basic place to park their RV, primarily for work-related purposes or as a very short overnight stop during a longer journey. If you are looking for a destination with a wide array of amenities and a focus on creating a recreational experience, alternative "RV Parks Near Me" might be more suitable.
Promotional information for Shibby RV Living might emphasize its convenient location in Fountain Inn, SC, and its provision of essential hookups, including electricity. The clean laundry facility could also be highlighted as a key amenity. For those needing a no-frills, functional parking space for their RV in this specific area, Shibby RV Living could serve as a practical option. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported lack of amenities, the pricing relative to those amenities, and the concerns raised about rule enforcement and long-term tenant behavior.
In conclusion, Shibby RV Living offers a basic RV parking option in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. While it provides essential hookups and a laundry facility, it lacks many of the amenities typically found in more resort-style RV parks. Reviews suggest that it might be most suitable for short-term stays or those prioritizing location and basic functionality over a comprehensive camping experience. Local users searching "RV Parks Near Me" should weigh these factors carefully when considering Shibby RV Living for their needs.

Shibby RV Living Reviews
Here's my review. I've stayed at a vast number of rv campgrounds cuase I do construction for work. The park staff is friendly and professional. Now here comes the negatively of this park. 1. The price. I rented by the month and $850-$900 a month is way too much for what they have to offer. WiFi is totally worthless, though lots/sites are graveled , there's no shade trees, no recreational park, Dog park poorly maintained, no pool, no on-site store for propane and/ or basic rv needs. No doggy posts with doggy poop bags and waste containers No bath houses. Yeah electric included but most will not use the amt. of electricity to warrant the price being charged. Here's the 2. big issue they have. There's at least two tenants that are in extreme violations of parks rules, yet they take it upon themselves to report people speeding too fast for their liking, Making too much noise and so forth. Yet they have exterior structures/ dog kennels/ freezers/ park on grass/ portable washer draining gray water on ground( violation of environment) into neighboring property that has a waterway
Mar 09, 2025 · James HartWe've stayed at two dozen RV Parks in the last several months in many different states. I've begun to develop an understanding of what makes a quality park.RV parks fall into four different categories based on their focus and commitments.Shibby falls into the category I call "the Parking Lot". These parks focus on maximizing every square inch of their property on profit for themselves, as opposed to INVESTING in creating an experience for guests. The amenities are minimal and seem to be an afterthought. The pads are as small and tight as possible in order to squeeze in as many rigs as possible. If you are looking for a place to park because of work and don't care about the quality of the experience, Shibby is perfectly suited for that. They do have a small but clean and cute laundry facility. This is a good place to stop for a night or two on the way to your vacation destination. If you are looking for a resort like experience, look elsewhere.
Dec 25, 2024 · Paul S. GermoIt really should be called Shibby RV Parking Lot.If you are working in the area or have somewhere you will be during every single day OR you don’t mind being inside your rig ALL the time, then this place will be ok for you. However, if you like a little bit of space between you and your neighbors, you appreciate being able to relax outside under your awning, you like paved RV parks and neat clean surroundings, this is NOT for you.If you only need a one to two night stay on your way, then it will do just fine.Fountain Inn is a cute town with several places to eat and shop. There are 3 pages of rules which are obviously not enforced.High priced for what you get! Will not return.
Dec 15, 2024 · Kristi gWould not recommend for long term. I’m sure if you are passing through briefly you would be fine. Peyton’s place for sure and there are other parks way cheaper for what they charge you can get a park with amenities. This place has nothing but a fenced in area for dogs and a laundry room that barely works.
Dec 05, 2024 · Mama BearShibby is the place I call home. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. The park is clean and quiet. The laundry room is always clean. I like that my utilities are included in my monthly rent, it allows for better budgeting. I feel safe here. The only thing that would make it even better is a pool ;) You won't regret staying here!
