Silver Fox RV Park Introduce
For local users seeking “RV parks near me” in the Pilot Point, Texas area, Silver Fox RV Park, located at 2306 US-377, Pilot Point, TX 76258, presents a unique option with a small and neighborly atmosphere. To provide a detailed and objective introduction, it’s important to consider the various aspects of the park as described by those who have stayed there.
The environment at Silver Fox RV Park is characterized by its smaller size, accommodating only 15 spots. This limited number of sites contributes to a more intimate and potentially quieter setting compared to larger RV parks. A significant advantage highlighted by a long-term resident is that the smaller capacity allows for larger individual sites, with many situated amongst trees. The presence of mature trees offers shade, which can be particularly appealing during the hot Texas summers, and contributes to a more natural and pleasant ambiance. The park also maintains a standard of tidiness, as messy sites are reportedly not allowed, which can enhance the overall aesthetic appeal and comfort for all residents.
In terms of services, Silver Fox RV Park offers essential utilities, including good water quality, as mentioned by a resident. The rates are described as reasonable, which can be a significant factor for budget-conscious travelers or those seeking a longer-term stay. The park fosters a sense of community, with residents described as neighborly. This can create a welcoming and supportive environment for both short-term and long-term guests.
A notable feature of Silver Fox RV Park is the presence of a resident landlady who is described as kind and friendly and actively looks after the residents. Having an on-site point of contact who is attentive to the needs of the community can greatly enhance the living experience, providing a sense of security and immediate assistance when required.
However, it is crucial to address a significant concern raised by a former guest regarding the electrical capacity of the park. According to this review, Silver Fox RV Park provides only 400 amps of electricity for 20 spots (the review mentions 20 spots, while another mentions 15). This translates to an average of only 20 amps per spot, which may be insufficient for modern RVs, especially during periods of high demand such as hot weather when air conditioners are in use. The reviewer explicitly stated that their air conditioner never worked correctly while staying at the park and functioned properly after moving to a different location. This suggests a potential limitation in the electrical infrastructure that could impact the comfort and functionality of appliances for some RVers, particularly those requiring more power.
The reviewer who experienced electrical issues recommended Silver Fox RV Park as a potentially great place to stay when it is cold outside, implying that the limited electricity might only become a significant problem when high power consumption for cooling is necessary. This suggests that the suitability of Silver Fox RV Park might depend on the time of year and the power needs of the individual RV.
Considering the feedback, local users searching for “RV parks near me” should carefully weigh the positive aspects of Silver Fox RV Park against the potential limitations. The reasonable rates, good water, neighborly community, treed and larger sites, and the presence of a kind resident landlady are definite advantages that contribute to a pleasant living experience for some. The emphasis on maintaining tidy sites also suggests a commitment to a clean and orderly environment.
However, the reported issue with insufficient electrical capacity is a significant factor that potential guests must consider, especially if they plan to stay during warmer months and rely heavily on air conditioning or other high-power appliances. It would be prudent for interested individuals to inquire directly with the park management about the electrical infrastructure, the typical power usage, and whether any upgrades are planned or have been made to address this concern.
Currently, no specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews. Local users are encouraged to contact Silver Fox RV Park directly at (727) 692-9064 or +1 727-692-9064 to inquire about current rates, availability, and any ongoing promotions. It would also be beneficial to discuss the electrical situation with the management to determine if the park can adequately meet their power needs.
In conclusion, Silver Fox RV Park in Pilot Point, TX, offers a small, community-focused environment with reasonable rates and spacious, treed sites. The friendly resident landlady and neighborly atmosphere are significant positives. However, potential guests must be aware of the reported limitations in electrical capacity, which may affect the use of power-intensive appliances, particularly during hot weather. Local RVers searching for “RV parks near me” should consider these factors and communicate directly with the park management to make an informed decision based on their individual needs and the time of year they plan to stay.

Silver Fox RV Park Reviews
I’ve lived here over 4 months now and have enjoyed every minute. Reasonable rates, good water and good neighborly people. There are only 15 spots here which allows for larger sites with most in the trees. Our resident land lady is so kind and friendly and looks after all of us here. Messy sites are not allowed which I appreciate. I would truly recommend staying here. We plan on remaining here for a few years.
Apr 21, 2023 · Jean SmithNot enough electricity going to the park. There is only 400 amps provided for 20 spots, that’s only 20 amps per spot. My ac never worked right. I moved and it works wonderfully now. I would t feel right not posting this. But if you want to be hot and have apliances go out this is the place. It’s Great place if your only staying when it’s cold outside however.

Feb 14, 2023 · Roxanne GarciaThe owner of this park is very sweet. She has one of the hardest jobs in the world, and that is to make everyone happy. I have no complaints. Maintenance issues are addressed very quickly. Neighbors are nice. Park is very quiet.
Jun 08, 2022 · Kyle HarringtonSilver Fox RV park, It`s a nice quite park. Their are 15 sites ALL with water(good water) Electrics= 50 amp 30 amp and 110. Each site has a sewer hookup. Pets welcome their is a large area for Fido to explore. The entrance is well marked and the road in was just repaved (2019) so, no problems there. Lake Ray Roberts is right across the street and has a public boat launch. It feels like your in the Country yet Your around the corner for things...Gas, Large food store and dinning. Denton and Dallas are a short drive away.Their are large storage units for rent There is an on site manager and garbage done weekly. If your looking for a semi-permanent or permanent place, Silver Fox is hard to beat. Nice neighbors too. The part I liked is that your not parked right next to your neighbor. No sardine can parking here.....,Space, Got to like that
