Solar's Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for housing options categorized under "RV parks near me" and considering the broader spectrum of residential parks, including mobile home communities, in the Thibodaux, Louisiana area? If so, Solar's Mobile Home Park, located at 156 Solar Trailer Park B, Thibodaux, LA 70301, USA, presents itself as a potential residential opportunity. While the platform category might initially suggest accommodations for recreational vehicles, it often serves as a directory for various types of residential parks. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of Solar's Mobile Home Park based on available customer reviews, highlighting concerns regarding property maintenance and reports of unprofessional communication.
It is important to clarify that while the platform category is "RV parks near me," Solar's Mobile Home Park is identified as a mobile home park. Mobile home parks, also known as manufactured home communities or residential parks, offer long-term living arrangements where residents typically own their homes but lease the land on which they are situated. These communities often provide a range of amenities and a sense of neighborhood for their residents.
Solar's Mobile Home Park can be contacted via phone at (985) 446-9103 or mobile phone at +1 985-446-9103. Interested local users are strongly encouraged to reach out directly to the park management using these contact details to obtain comprehensive information about lot availability, lease terms, monthly fees, specific services and features offered, and any community rules or regulations. Given the serious concerns raised in the available customer reviews, direct communication and potentially a site visit are crucial for gathering the necessary details to make an informed decision.
The limited customer feedback available for Solar's Mobile Home Park raises significant concerns regarding the upkeep of the property and the professionalism of the management's communication. One reviewer stated that "The owner don't take good care of the property" and further elaborated by mentioning the presence of "a lot of destroyed mobile homes from Hurricane Ida abandones on the property." This suggests a potentially neglected environment with visible signs of disrepair and lack of timely cleanup following a major weather event. The presence of abandoned and destroyed homes can negatively impact the aesthetic appeal, safety, and overall quality of life within the mobile home park.
Another review details a highly unusual and unprofessional phone call received from the park. The caller was looking for a "Chad Collins" and mistakenly identified the recipient as his wife "Darlene," despite the recipient clarifying that he did not know anyone named Darlene and that it was not his wife's name. The caller reportedly insisted on delivering a message about tearing down Darlene's trailer and accused the recipient of lying about not knowing her. This account paints a picture of potentially disorganized record-keeping and a confrontational and accusatory communication style from someone representing the mobile home park. The reviewer's subsequent effort to locate the correct "Darlene Collins" through a simple online search, which yielded a possible match, further underscores the lack of due diligence on the part of the caller from Solar's Mobile Home Park.
These two reviews, although limited in number, raise serious red flags for potential residents. The alleged lack of property maintenance, particularly the continued presence of hurricane-damaged homes, suggests a disregard for the overall condition and appearance of the park. The reported unprofessional and accusatory phone call indicates potential issues with the management's communication and record-keeping practices, which could lead to further stress and inconvenience for residents.
Without any positive reviews or descriptions of services and features, it is impossible to counterbalance these negative accounts with any information about the potential benefits of living at Solar's Mobile Home Park. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential infrastructure such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for each lot. They may also provide amenities like paved streets and basic landscaping. However, given the concerns about property maintenance, the quality and reliability of these basic services at Solar's Mobile Home Park might also be questionable. Information regarding additional amenities, such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or on-site management, is entirely absent.
Similarly, no information is available regarding any promotional offers or incentives that Solar's Mobile Home Park might be providing to attract new residents. In light of the negative feedback, it would be prudent for any interested individuals to inquire specifically about the park's plans for property cleanup and maintenance, as well as their communication protocols.
For local users in Thibodaux searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering mobile home living as a long-term option, Solar's Mobile Home Park presents a scenario that requires extreme caution. The available reviews highlight significant issues related to property maintenance and unprofessional communication, which could severely impact the living experience. Potential residents should weigh these serious concerns heavily against any potential benefits, such as affordability (which is not explicitly mentioned but is often a factor in older or less well-maintained mobile home parks).
Given the nature of the negative feedback, it is strongly recommended that anyone considering Solar's Mobile Home Park conduct a thorough investigation. This should include contacting the management to address the concerns raised in the reviews directly, visiting the property to assess the current condition and the presence of abandoned homes, and potentially speaking with current residents (if possible) to gain a broader perspective on the living conditions and management practices.
In conclusion, the limited information available for Solar's Mobile Home Park in Thibodaux, Louisiana, paints a concerning picture due to reports of neglected property maintenance, including abandoned hurricane-damaged homes, and unprofessional communication from the management. Local users exploring residential options under the category of "RV parks near me" should approach Solar's Mobile Home Park with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering it as a place to live. Direct communication with the management and a site visit are essential to ascertain the current conditions and whether the park can provide a safe and satisfactory living environment.

Solar's Mobile Home Park Reviews
The owner don't take good care of the property. Still have a lot of destroyed mobile homes from Hurricane Ida abandones on the property.
Jul 31, 2024 · Robert LilleyGot a call from this place looking for Chad Collins. They had the wrong person and I knew it when they said they were looking for “my wife, Darlene”. I explained that I didn’t even know a person named Darlene. That certainly isn’t my wife’s name. They said to tell Darlene they were going to tear her trailer down. If anyone knows her, please let her know what’s going on. I was accused of lying about not knowing Darlene. Ever had some call you with misinformation and call you a liar? Pretty low. I was easily able to google “Chad Collins Darlene” and found the second link listed, fastpeoplesearch.com had info about a Darlene Collins married to a Chad Paul Collins (that’s not my middle name and it isn’t me). So, it might help these folks not accuse people of lying if they took a minute to do what I did and perform an elementary google search. Unreal
Feb 23, 2022 · Chad CollinsThis is the kind of place you end up when you have nowhere left to go. The trailers are infested with every species of roach known to mankind. The land lord and his staff are the rudest people ihave ever encountered in my life. My wife and stepson have been harrassed because of the rent being past due by a few days. The trailers are rundown. Think twice before you decide to rent from these people
May 06, 2019 · Danny AucoinIt's definitely a trailer park. Candy lady is cool.
