Southwood RV Park Reviews
Such a hidden gem! We were traveling cross country and stopped in Mobile to visit a friend. As traveling camphosts, we have a high expectation of the parks we visit. This park is absolutely adorable! We backed in our 37 foot class a in easily (the managers even met us at the entrance to see if we needed help), and were settled in in no time! Carol (the manager) was not only friendly, but extremely knowledgeable about the area. We stayed an extra day because we enjoyed the area so much! Thank you, and we will be back!
Sep 12, 2023 · Angela WarnerNice smaller RV park with several great perks such as electric included in rent up to a certain amount, good wifi and recently remodeled “club house” with bathroom, laundry, kitchen and tv room. The manager, Sharon, is very helpful and welcoming. The park is beside the wetland so you’ve got the bugs (chiggers, mosquitoes, etc) and smells from the wetland but that’s coastal AL I suppose. Overall a great park with lots of shade, quiet with no road noise and close to the Dog River Marina, Mobile Bay and I-10. Mostly long long term renters with a number short term too, everyone is very friendly.
Oct 18, 2022 · Justin BrummageIf you're looking for a quick 1 night stay, it's fine. The club house and laundry need work. It appears they are working on the dog run. There are really no amenities, and they aren't very close to much. It seems to be mostly full-timers. It is a very small park.
Dec 25, 2024 · mindy dodgenWe just returned today from a week long stay at this park while we vacationed in Mobile/Dauphin Island area! Sharon and Michael were amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and help us any way we needed help. I highly recommend this park, and I would stay there again if in the area. 10/10!!
