Sunnyside Acres Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living options in the Idaho Falls area, Sunnyside Acres, located at 905 W Sunnyside Rd, Idaho Falls, ID 83402, presents itself as a dual-purpose property. It appears to cater to both long-term residents in mobile homes and short-term visitors in RVs. However, it is crucial for potential residents and visitors to be aware of recent customer feedback regarding management responsiveness and the availability of amenities, as this information may significantly impact their decision.
A Dual Offering: Mobile Home Living and RV Camping: Sunnyside Acres' address suggests a community that accommodates a range of housing needs, offering spaces for both mobile homes and RVs. For local users seeking "mobile home parks near me" for potential long-term residency, Sunnyside Acres is a geographically relevant option. Similarly, for those traveling through the area in RVs and searching for "RV parks near me," Sunnyside Acres is listed as a potential campground. This dual functionality could be appealing to a diverse range of individuals and families in the Idaho Falls vicinity.
Insights from Customer Experiences: Management Responsiveness: Recent customer reviews raise concerns regarding the responsiveness and customer service orientation of the management at Sunnyside Acres. One potential buyer attempting to inquire about the process of moving a privately purchased mobile home into the park reported significant difficulty in reaching the management. Multiple phone calls over several days allegedly went unanswered, and when contact was finally made, the individual described a lack of urgency and a perceived lack of responsibility from the staff. This experience highlights a potential challenge in obtaining timely information and assistance from the management, which is a critical factor for both prospective long-term residents and short-term RV guests when considering "mobile home parks near me" or "RV parks near me."
The same reviewer also detailed their experience with the application process for moving a mobile home into Sunnyside Acres. They reported a 7-14 day timeframe for application processing and alleged a lack of flexibility or willingness to expedite the process, even in light of the previous difficulty in contacting the management. Additionally, the park reportedly had specific and inflexible pet policies regarding the size of dogs for mobile home residents, which were only clarified after some back-and-forth communication. This suggests that potential residents should be prepared for potentially lengthy application processes and strict adherence to park rules, which is important to consider when evaluating "mobile home parks near me" based on individual circumstances and needs.
Insights from Customer Experiences: RV Campground Disappointment: A separate review from an RV traveler paints a concerning picture of their short-term stay at Sunnyside Acres, particularly in relation to its value and the availability of advertised amenities. The reviewer stated that it was the "most expensive RV campground" they had stayed in during a two-week trip, suggesting that the pricing may not align with the perceived quality or services received. Upon arrival, the guest reported issues with their assigned space being occupied by another vehicle, requiring relocation. Furthermore, they alleged that access to amenities such as the shower room, laundry room, and clubhouse was unavailable after 5:00 PM, despite the website reportedly stating a 6:00 PM closing time. The reviewer also claimed difficulty in contacting management to address these issues. This account raises significant concerns about the value proposition and the reliability of access to essential amenities for RV guests searching for "RV parks near me" in Idaho Falls.
The issues encountered by the RV guest, including occupied sites and lack of access to facilities, suggest potential organizational and communication challenges within the management of Sunnyside Acres. The discrepancy between the reported amenity hours and the actual availability further compounds these concerns. For RV travelers seeking a reliable and amenity-rich experience when looking at "RV parks near me," these recent reviews warrant careful consideration.
Environment, Services, and Features: Limited Information from Reviews: The provided customer reviews offer limited insights into the overall environment and specific services and features of Sunnyside Acres. The focus of the reviews is primarily on management interactions and amenity access. Therefore, it is difficult to objectively describe the physical environment of the park (e.g., landscaping, site sizes, overall aesthetics) or the full range of services offered (e.g., Wi-Fi, hookups for RVs, community areas for mobile home residents) based solely on this information. Potential residents and visitors will need to seek additional information through direct contact with the park to gain a comprehensive understanding of these aspects when evaluating Sunnyside Acres as one of the "mobile home parks near me" or "RV parks near me."
Promotional Information: Not Available in Reviews: The provided customer reviews do not contain any promotional information about Sunnyside Acres. There are no mentions of special rates, discounts, or unique selling points that the park might be advertising to attract new mobile home residents or RV guests. Individuals interested in any potential promotional offers will need to inquire directly with the management.
Objective Summary and Considerations: Based on the limited information available and the recent customer feedback, Sunnyside Acres in Idaho Falls appears to be a property that serves both the mobile home and RV communities. However, potential residents and visitors should be aware of the concerns raised in recent reviews regarding management responsiveness, application processes, pet policies for mobile home residents, and the availability and value of amenities for RV guests. While the location in Idaho Falls may be convenient for those seeking "mobile home parks near me" or "RV parks near me" in the area, it is strongly recommended that individuals contact Sunnyside Acres directly to obtain comprehensive information about the environment, services, features, pricing, and current operational procedures. It would also be prudent to inquire specifically about the issues raised in recent reviews to make an informed decision.
Recommendation for Local Users: If Sunnyside Acres is on your list of potential "mobile home parks near me" or "RV parks near me" in Idaho Falls, it is highly recommended that you:

- For RV stays, confirm the current pricing and the hours of operation and availability of all advertised amenities (showers, laundry, clubhouse, etc.).

Sunnyside Acres Reviews
Was planning to buy a single wide from a private seller here. I called to get info on the process for getting approved to live there on a Wednesday at 3pm. The answering machine said "Out office hours are 9 to 5 with lunch at 12." So I left a message. No response so I called Thursday afternoon again not during lunch hours again and still no response. Finally I call on Friday morning. Someone else answered and (because I would rather work with good management) asked why they hadn't called me back and the current receptionist said "Well you'll have to talk to Amber when she is in." This is one company. They should take responsibility and try to treat their customers kindly without attitude. Then I moved on to try to figure out the application process and I asked how long it would take. They said 7-14 days. I asked if they could expedite it since I had tried to call two days prior and they hadn't responded. They said "No we don't do that." Terrific.I then finally asked if we could bring our cute little golden doodle. They said we could only once we paid the trailer off. They assumed I was renting to own through them. I explained we were going through a bank. Then they said we could have our dog as long as he was under 20lbs. They would not bend the rules for our 28lb dog which was the first thing they did that was actually understandable to me but I thought I would ask.Sad to see this wonderful opportunity for my family go but glad I found out management is not customer service oriented before I signed anything.
Jan 19, 2024 · peoncupThis place is a total ripoff! Booked it over the phone before we got here, in 2 weeks of traveling it is the most expensive RV campground we have stayed in. Got here and I’m glad it was before her 5:00 quitting time. Our space had a vehicle in it, she didn’t even know whose vehicle. Moved us to another location and that also had a vehicle parked there. She did know who it belonged to so she had them move it. My husband went to check on a code for the shower room and laundry room. Attendant had left for the day. At 5, not 6 like the website says. No access to any amenities such as shower, laundry or club house. Then she won’t answer the phone to see if any of this can be addressed. To say we are upset is a gross understatement!
Mar 14, 2024 · Charlene LoperSpaces are close but utilities are great, electric is reliable and good water pressure. Laundry facilities are clean but machines are old. The manager (April) is very accommodating and does whatever is needed when asked. No drug issues at all as a previous post indicated. Parked here in our 40’ motorhome with room for our car. Would certainly recommend to any of our friends.
Jul 07, 2021 · Doug McgiffinTo start the park was great when Terri was managing it, Since April Waid has taken over.. there has been some major issues. Peoples back doors being broken into... she says its not her problem and there is nothing she can do. THE PARK IS UNSAFE! There are currently two registered sex offenders living inside the park, yet they say it is safe for all ages..They say the streets are well lit but most of the street lights are dim at best and the parking areas are extremely dark ....peoples car tires being tampered with.. people being threatened for no reason.. accusations of drug use and drug dealing... walk around the park and smell marijuana smoke all over the place then they decided to actually follow some of the rules .. after the boats being in the park for over a year but only some of the people allowed to keep them.. if your disabled they go after you for asking that sidewalks be repaired because the water pools so badly it is dangerous for me. The manager listens and believes what her teenage son says after him and my son had a falling out and are no longer friends and he made up some pretty big lies.. Mind this is not exactly the most reliable kid...hes on his second round of probation.. he has mental health issues but his word is golden to her...even when it's lies. She made some physical threats towards me... and even filed a false police report. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS BEEN DONE EITHER April herself told me they did it to another lady that use to live on the street behind me... lawsuit has already been started...
Aug 13, 2017 · Cari HallMy mother moved here years ago and is now retired and on a limited income.. Since then I've noticed: Multiple lot rent increases. Loose/barking dogs. Loose kids in other people's yards AND sheds. Water build up in streets from melting snow causing flooded yards. Loud music later than it should be. This place was nice back then, but now it's a typical "trailer trash" park.
