Pinewood Estates Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or a mobile home park in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Pinewood Estates, located at 1710 N Pinewood Dr, Idaho Falls, ID 83401, USA, is an option that may appear in your search. They can be contacted at (208) 264-1385 or +1 208-264-1385. However, it is critical to carefully consider recent customer reviews before making any decisions regarding this property. The feedback indicates significant issues concerning management responsiveness, billing practices, and increasing lot rents, which could impact the living experience for both mobile home owners and potential RV residents.
Regarding the environment of Pinewood Estates, the provided reviews do not offer specific details about the physical appearance or amenities of the park itself. However, one long-term resident describes it as a "less than average trailer park," which suggests that the overall environment may not be particularly appealing or well-maintained. The lack of positive comments about the grounds or facilities implies potential shortcomings in this area. It is important for prospective residents to consider that the perceived quality of the environment can significantly affect their living experience.
The services and management of Pinewood Estates are areas of significant concern based on the recent reviews. One former resident details a frustrating two-month ordeal trying to resolve a billing issue after selling their home. Despite assurances from office staff members Naomi and Kira that they were no longer responsible for the lot rent, they continued to receive late payment notices and even a negative alert on their credit bureau. The reviewer reported making over 35 visits to the office over two months, only to find no one there, and their calls were allegedly dodged. This lack of communication and failure to resolve a clear billing error raises serious questions about the efficiency and reliability of the park's management. The involvement of the parent company's customer service, which also failed to resolve the issue, further underscores the systemic problems in their administrative processes.
Another long-term resident expresses deep dissatisfaction with the current management, stating, "I have lived here a long time this is the worst this place has been." A primary grievance is the repeated and substantial increases in lot rent without any corresponding improvements to the lots. The reviewer mentions two increases within the current year totaling approximately $200 per month, bringing the lot rent up to around $600 per month for a trailer park lot. This is perceived as exploitative, with the reviewer labeling the management as "greedy." The combination of high lot rent and the description of the park as "less then average" suggests a poor value proposition for residents.
The features of Pinewood Estates, as implied by the reviews, may be limited or not well-maintained. The absence of positive mentions about amenities typically found in "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks, such as recreational facilities, community areas, or landscaping, suggests that these may be lacking or substandard. The focus of the reviews on negative management practices and increasing costs overshadows any potential positive features the park might offer. The fact that "a lot of the trailers are for sale but know one is buying them" could indicate a broader dissatisfaction with the community or the terms of residency.
There is no promotional information to be found within these recent customer reviews. Instead, they serve as strong warnings for potential residents. The long-term resident advises doing "your home work before looking to move out here its not what it seems at all," indicating a significant discrepancy between the perceived reality of living in Pinewood Estates and any potential positive image the management might try to project. The comparison of the combined trailer payment and lot rent potentially reaching $1500 or more for a "less then average trailer park" further discourages prospective residents.
The reviews paint a picture of a mobile home park, and potentially an RV park, where communication with management is difficult, billing errors are not promptly resolved, and costs are increasing without apparent improvements. The lack of responsiveness and the perceived greed of the management are significant concerns for anyone considering residing at Pinewood Estates. The negative impact on a former resident's credit score due to unresolved billing issues is a serious consequence that potential residents should be aware of.
In conclusion, based on the recent and concerning customer reviews, Pinewood Estates in Idaho Falls, ID, appears to be a mobile home park, and potentially an option for those searching "RV parks near me," that warrants significant caution. The issues raised regarding unresponsive management, billing problems, substantial and unjustified increases in lot rent, and the description of the park as "less then average" present a negative outlook for potential residents. Individuals seeking a mobile home or RV park in the Idaho Falls area are strongly advised to thoroughly investigate these concerns and consider alternative options that offer more reliable management, transparent billing practices, and a better overall living environment. The negative experiences shared by former and current residents should serve as a critical warning to those considering making Pinewood Estates their home.

Pinewood Estates Reviews
I have been trying to contact the Park for two months now. I sold my home a month ago and was trying to make them aware prior to the sale as well as after. They still have it so that I am responsible for the lot rent and I keep getting notices that my lot rent is late. I have been assured by their office staff, Naomi and Kira that I am not responsible, but I still have an outstanding bill. They have been dodging my calls for two months now and every time I stop into the office over 35 times in the last two months no one is ever there. I also got an alert from the credit bureau for a late payment. Ever since this new company took over, It has been one shady thing after another. Last contact I had was last week being told it would be taken care of by end of day. Here it is Tuesday still no response as to when my name and my sole responsibility will be taken off.I have also spoken to customer service with their parent company being told that this is an in-house issue and they would make sure it was resolved by the local office. Still NOTHING!
Apr 08, 2025 · Alaura BrownI have lived here a long time this is the worst this place has been. They keep raising the lot rent and do nothing to improve the lots. This year they have done it twice already for a total of about 200.00 dollars a month. Which brings the lot rent up to around 600.00 dollars a month for a trailer park lot. These are greedy people. A lot of the trailers are for sale but know one is buying them. If a person has a trailer payment and a lot rent payment it could add up to around 1500.00 a mouth or more. For a trailer house in a less then average trailer park. But were else is there to move a trailer and they know this and they are taking advantage of the situation. Do your home work before looking to move out here its not what it seems at all.
Apr 05, 2025 · Billie CrouseIt looks nice and that's why we moved in. We like that they had rules so it appeared to be a structured community. But since we moved in weve had major rule breaking problems with our neighbors including them littering on our lawn, honking horns and blaring music late at night, and their pets going potty on our lawn. We've had these problems for 3 years now and the management lady hasn't done anything to enforce the rules they've set. Today my husband called to ask simple questions and she told him this is America if you don't like it leave then hung up. Very professional. 🙄 They're strict on lawns looking nice but nothing else. This neighborhood is not as nice to live in as it appears. Maybe its just the new management, but appearance is all that seems to matter.
Apr 12, 2019 · Krista RoseberryIt's been the same for years. I grew up in this trailer park. Not much has changed. Only difference I think is the play area in the middle. Toys are nicerThe big rocket 🚀 that is outside Blast Off used to be in pinewood estates. That would have been amazing to see it back where it was.(Pros and cons) :Pros there are usually several different trailers for sale in trailer park at anytime. There is no shortage of kids running around so would be easy to make friendsCons usually several different trailers for sale in trailer park at anytime. No shortage of kids running around riding bikes. They do not watch for cars. They play in the street and don't move when cars come. They are similar to HOA. ( Home owners association) if you want told what you can and can't have on your property then this is the place. Also you have to ask permission to do anything to your property. For example if you want to put up a car port you have to get permission. If you want to build a shed you have to get permission. If you don't comply with the rules and let's say you put up a carport you will be asked to take it down. If you don't take it down you'll end up with a ticket
Oct 03, 2020 · AliciaWhat a delightful family park. Wide streets, green lawns, very large play area, RV sites, free RV storage area. Homes for sale were like new and they offer up to $4000 to help you move your own home in. A resident I talked to said the park staff keep the roadways well plowed in the winter. Water, sewer, and garbage is included and because they have their own wells, you could fill up your pool in the summer. We're coming back for the catered BBQ in July and may stay.
