If your search for "RV parks near me" brings you to Sweeny, Texas, particularly if you are working or planning to work at the Phillips 66 plant, Sweeny RV Park, located at 3312 Farm to Market Rd 1459, Sweeny, TX 77480, USA, and reachable at (281) 854-4797 or +1 281-854-4797, comes highly recommended by those who have stayed there for extended periods. Based on enthusiastic reviews from individuals working in the area, Sweeny RV Park offers a combination of convenience, helpful management, and a pleasant living environment.
One of the most frequently praised aspects of Sweeny RV Park is its exceptional management. One reviewer, who stayed for two months while working at the Phillips 66 plant after coming in from Mississippi, specifically mentioned that "the manager rocks" and is "willing to help with anything needed." This level of support and attentiveness from the management can significantly enhance the experience of staying at an RV park, especially for those who are new to the area or are working away from their usual residence. The willingness of the manager to assist with various needs creates a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere.
Another significant positive highlighted by a long-term guest who stayed for three months while their husband worked shift work at the Phillips plant is the overall experience being "absolutely amazing!" This strong endorsement speaks volumes about the quality of the park and the satisfaction of its residents. For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" for extended work assignments, this kind of positive feedback from fellow workers is invaluable.
The environment of Sweeny RV Park is described as "quite country living!" This suggests that the park offers a peaceful and tranquil setting, away from the noise and bustle of more urban areas. For those working long hours or on demanding schedules, a quiet and relaxing environment to return to is crucial for rest and rejuvenation. The "country living" aspect also implies a potentially more spacious and natural setting compared to RV parks situated directly within city limits.
A practical benefit mentioned by a guest who stayed for two months is the straightforward and fair deposit policy. They reported being able to "give a two week notice and got all my deposit back," indicating transparent and reasonable terms for longer-term stays. This kind of positive experience with administrative aspects can contribute significantly to overall satisfaction with an RV park.
Adding a unique touch to the amenities offered at Sweeny RV Park is the "coffee bar!" This feature was specifically mentioned and appreciated by a guest who stayed for three months. A coffee bar on-site provides a convenient and enjoyable way for residents to start their day or take a break, fostering a sense of community and offering a small but significant comfort.
While the reviews do not explicitly detail the specific types of RV sites available (e.g., pull-through, back-in, hook-up types and amperage), the positive experiences of long-term workers suggest that the sites are well-suited for extended stays and can accommodate the needs of those living in their RVs for weeks or months at a time. Prospective guests are encouraged to contact the park directly to inquire about site availability and specific amenities.
The primary focus of the positive reviews is on the management, the quiet environment, and the convenient location for those working at the Phillips 66 plant. This suggests that Sweeny RV Park caters particularly well to this demographic. If you are searching for "RV parks near me" due to employment at the plant, the experiences of others in similar situations indicate that Sweeny RV Park is an "awesome" choice.

Sweeny RV Park Reviews
I was reading reviews of this place….I came in from Mississippi to work at the Phillips 66 plant and stayed at this Sweeny RV park for two months. It was awesome!! When my job was coming to an end, I was able to give a two week notice and got all my deposit back. Oh and the manager rocks, she’s willing to help with anything needed. I will be back, thank you Sweeney RV Park!!
Mar 22, 2025 · Michelle SloyanMy husband works shift work at the Phillips plant and we stayed here 3 months! It was absolutely amazing! Quite country living! The manager was so helpful with everything and I love their coffee bar!!
Apr 11, 2025 · Suada BylykuDo not recommend at all! They ask for a 2 week notice and it’s hard us for plant workers since layoffs are unpredictable and they require two week notice for deposit to be refunded. They will keep your money at all cost
Mar 18, 2025 · Balam Ventura***** TURN AROUND CHASERS OR REFINERY WORKERS BEWARE*****I DO NOT recommend ANY refinery workers to stay here. They absolutely REQUIRE TWO week notice prior to vacating the premises for ANY chance of your deposit to be returned to you. They will say it is a breech of contract, however the rv park breeched contract from the first day as their wifi service was almost non existent. It was decided to leave this rv park because service in the area was already bad enough, without the help of “free” wifi (password protected, not free), the feature of wifi calling on multiple devices was use less. Once you would leave the park for work, food, gas etc, you’d get notifications of missed calls, voicemails and everything all at once. Imagine something happens back at home and you are not aware of it until a few hours have gone by. They were made aware of the situation at hand way before contract was “breeched. “ They were more interested at how much more “expensive” the other rv park I contacted to stay at than to prioritize their faulty service. Even with them KNOWING we were leaving and monthly rate still being enough to cover the light bill, they stated “ do you want to pay your light bill now? Or have it deducted from your deposit?” It was opted to be deducted from deposit, with no proof of how much that light bill was at the end of the stay. Theres many other flags of this place, deposit is required by cash, managers of this place are always out and about, if anyone needed anything they’d say they weren’t at the rv park. After multiple attempts to communicate with them, they said I’ll send it over to corporate so they can MAIL you the deposit….mail to where if I provided you with cash??? “Corporate” is non existent as they do not provide you with any number, they state they will be the middle man. I called plenty of times and calls were not answered or stated “corporate” went on vacation they would be back next week. Here I am almost two months later, I gave them one more chance and the lady over the phone kept trying to speak over me. At the end of the day it isn’t about the deposit anymore, its the customer service/satisfaction.
Mar 15, 2025 · Analuz BustillosEnjoying my work stay in this park. The managers have been great and it is very peaceful here and further away from the plant and the traffic on 35. Small pond to fish out of and not far from a park with river access and a boat ramp. Definitely will stay here again in the future
