Based on feedback from fellow RVers, The Community RV Park presents a mixed picture. One reviewer highlighted it as a "great place for a short stay to visit with family nearby," praising the "private restroom/shower facilities" for being "clean and well kept." This positive experience also noted the "reasonable rates" and the pleasant demeanor of Ms. Case, the owner/operator.
However, another guest's experience paints a different scenario, particularly for those passing through. This review detailed issues with communication and site assignment. The guest, seeking an overnight spot during severe weather, reported not receiving the promised email containing the receipt, WiFi password, and park information, despite a follow-up call. Furthermore, they noted the absence of visible staff and were assigned a "lumpy grass" spot despite the availability of concrete pads, making leveling difficult. The reviewer also mentioned significant flooding after overnight rain. While acknowledging that "all the hook ups worked fine," they felt the $50 nightly rate was not justified for what they perceived as a "serve yourself" setup, suggesting the park might prioritize permanent residents.
Considering these firsthand accounts, potential visitors should be aware of both the positive aspects and potential drawbacks of The Community RV Park. The clean and private restroom/shower facilities are a significant advantage, especially for those who value personal hygiene and convenience. The owner's reported friendliness also contributes to a potentially welcoming atmosphere, particularly for short-term visitors with local connections.
On the other hand, the issues raised regarding communication, site assignment, and the lack of readily available staff are important considerations. If you are expecting detailed information upon arrival or require a specific type of site (e.g., concrete pad for easier leveling), it might be prudent to confirm these details directly with the park management beforehand. The experience with flooding also suggests that site selection might be crucial, especially during periods of heavy rain.
The Community RV Park is located in Ada, Oklahoma, which offers a range of local attractions and amenities. While the reviews provide insights into the park itself, exploring the surrounding area can enhance your stay. Ada is home to East Central University, the Chickasaw Cultural Center (located a short drive away in Sulphur), and various outdoor recreational opportunities. Whether you're visiting family, exploring the local culture, or simply passing through, Ada offers a blend of small-town charm and accessible conveniences.
For those considering The Community RV Park as one of the “RV parks near me,” it's recommended to weigh the provided feedback carefully. If your priority is clean private facilities and a potentially friendly owner, and you are flexible with your site and information delivery, it might be a suitable option, especially for a short visit. However, if you require guaranteed communication, specific site types, and a high level of on-site service, you might want to have a detailed conversation with the park management prior to booking to ensure your expectations are met.
In conclusion, The Community RV Park offers a basic RV parking experience in Ada, Oklahoma. Its strengths appear to lie in its clean, private amenities and the potential for a welcoming interaction with the owner. However, potential guests should be prepared for the possibility of limited on-site staff interaction, potential communication challenges, and the importance of confirming site details in advance. As you explore “RV parks near me,” consider The Community RV Park as a straightforward option with both noted advantages and areas for potential improvement based on recent customer experiences.

The Community RV Park Reviews
This is a great place for a short stay to visit with family nearby. The private restroom/shower facilties are clean and well kept. The rates are reasonable am Ms. Case (the owner/operator) is very nice.
Mar 15, 2025 · Scott BooherWe needed an overnight spot and to get out of some severe weather in Texas. The staff told me a site to use and said they would email me my receipt, the WiFi password and info about the park. I never received it even though I called back later and told them I hadn't received the email yet. While there, I never saw anyone that worked there, so I never got my receipt. We pulled in and found we were assigned a grass spot even though there were ones with concrete pads available. It was very tough to level on the lumpy grass. It poured rain all night and a lot of the park was underwater when we left the next morning. All the hook ups worked fine but that was about the end of it. I have no idea of what else was offered because I never received any info and the office was never opened. I think the park caters mostly to permanent residents and people passing through are just a way to make a quick buck. Not worth $50 a night, especially since it is such a "serve yourself" place.
