Trails West Homes Introduce
As individuals search for "RV parks near me," their housing needs can vary, sometimes extending to the possibility of finding a stable and community-oriented living situation in a mobile home park. In this context, we present an overview of Trails West Homes, located at 902 Overland Trail, Enid, OK 73703, USA. You can reach their management at (580) 237-7094 or their mobile number +1 580-237-7094 for inquiries. It's important to note that the available reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the community and its management, which potential residents should carefully consider.
One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the management of Trails West Homes. This individual alleged that the management "likes to harass tenants" and is primarily focused on their own compensation ("only worried about their pay check"). Furthermore, this reviewer raised a serious concern regarding animal welfare, claiming "animal neglect happening in one of her trailers" and stating that the management was aware of the situation but took no action. Adding to their negative experience, the reviewer mentioned being threatened by management for attempting to assist in cleaning up the trailer where the alleged neglect was occurring. This account paints a concerning picture of the management's approach to tenant relations and animal welfare within the community.
In stark contrast, another reviewer offered a positive assessment of Trails West Homes. This individual described it as a "very nice and quiet neighborhood." They specifically highlighted a positive change in management, stating, "The manager there has really changed that place around. She is getting all the homes completely remodeled." This suggests that the community may be undergoing a period of revitalization and improvement under new leadership. The reviewer further characterized Trails West Homes as a "Great family friendly place to live," indicating a welcoming and suitable environment for families.
Considering these two divergent reviews, it appears that Trails West Homes might be a community in transition, potentially with significant changes occurring under new management. The negative review raises serious concerns about past or present management practices and animal welfare, while the positive review suggests recent improvements and a family-friendly atmosphere.
Based on these reviews, we can attempt to outline potential aspects of Trails West Homes:
- A potentially quiet neighborhood, as mentioned by one reviewer.
- Ongoing remodeling of homes within the community, suggesting an effort to improve the overall condition of the properties.
- A potential for a family-friendly environment, according to one reviewer's positive experience under the current manager.
- Concerns regarding past or present management practices, including alleged tenant harassment and inaction on animal welfare issues, as reported by one reviewer.
Information regarding specific services and features typically found in mobile home parks, such as on-site management, maintenance, community amenities (e.g., playgrounds, clubhouses), or utility provisions, is limited in these reviews. The positive review's focus on remodeling and the family-friendly aspect suggests that the current management may be prioritizing the improvement of the physical environment and fostering a positive community atmosphere. However, the negative review's allegations about management responsiveness and animal welfare raise questions about the reliability and quality of any provided services.
Promotional information is not explicitly present in the provided text. The positive review could be seen as an indirect endorsement of the changes being implemented under the new manager. However, the serious allegations in the negative review serve as a significant counterpoint, suggesting that potential residents should exercise caution and seek further information.
For local users in Enid searching for "RV parks near me" who might be open to considering a mobile home community for a longer-term living situation, Trails West Homes presents a complex picture. The potential for a "nice and quiet neighborhood" with ongoing remodeling and a "family friendly" atmosphere is appealing. However, the serious allegations of tenant harassment and neglect by management cannot be ignored and warrant thorough investigation.
Prospective residents should consider the following steps before making any decisions about Trails West Homes:
- Contact the management directly at (580) 237-7094 or +1 580-237-7094 to inquire about current management practices, ongoing renovations, and community policies.
- Request a visit to the property to assess the current condition of the homes and the overall environment.
- If possible, attempt to speak with current residents to gain a broader range of perspectives on the community and the management.
- Inquire about policies and procedures regarding animal welfare within the park.
- Seek information about any community amenities or services offered to residents.
The contrasting nature of the available reviews highlights the importance of gathering comprehensive and up-to-date information before considering residency in Trails West Homes. While the positive review suggests a community undergoing positive change, the serious concerns raised in the negative review necessitate careful scrutiny.
In conclusion, Trails West Homes in Enid, OK, appears to be a mobile home park with a potentially evolving environment under new management. While one reviewer praises the quiet neighborhood, ongoing remodeling, and family-friendly atmosphere, another raises significant concerns about tenant harassment and animal welfare under previous or current management. Local users exploring housing options beyond "RV parks near me" should approach Trails West Homes with caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek current and comprehensive information before making any decisions.

Trails West Homes Reviews
Management likes to harass tenants and is only worried about their pay check. There is animal neglect happening in one of her trailers and she knows about it and doesn't do anything. But was threatening me for trying to help them clean up the trailer.
Jul 07, 2024 · Amber FeltonVery nice and quiet neighborhood. The manager there has really changed that place around. She is getting all the homes completely remodeled. Great family friendly place to live.
Jul 09, 2024 · Jason FranquiLived there for a year and had a great review when I moved out said they'd get my deposit back to me and 6 months later nothing. Manager won't help at all and corporate won't answer or call back despite leaving messages and forwarding address. Thinking about small claims case. Would not ever recommend renting or living here.
Sep 07, 2022 · Dustin WhiteI have been living in a 150 square foot room for ten years. It has no kitchen, only an empty room with no build-ins. I have a bed in my room. No room for a table or a chair. I started looking for a new place to live recently. I thought I had found a trailer that I would be purchasing through Trails west Mobile Home Park. Excited that it would be paid for in the years. I looked at it yesterday. Then I looked again today. I had a list of questions I had wrote down to ask the manager. My first answer was the age of the mobile home. It was 28 years old. I then asked for the manufacturer's name. The manager stopped me and asked me why I was asking these questions. She said it would be in the lease that I signed. I looked at her and said I wouldn't even consider buying something this important without asking questions. I would never sign a lease without inquiring about my list of questions Then I looked at my friend and said let's go. If the manager was that worried about answering questions then I felt she had something to hide. Even though I was very disappointed, I felt God stepped in to protect me from going down a bad road. This place needs to be investigated.
