Fairhaven RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in Enid, Oklahoma, Fairhaven RV Park, located at 4420 N 4th St, Enid, OK 73701, USA, is a facility you might consider. They can be reached at (580) 234-4415 or via mobile at +1 580-234-4415. Based on the limited customer feedback available, Fairhaven RV Park appears to be a straightforward option that prioritizes essential utilities and a peaceful atmosphere, though experiences may vary, particularly for electric vehicle owners.
One reviewer described their stay as quite positive, noting "steady power, clean water, wifi, and quiet." They specifically recommended Fairhaven RV Park for those needing a "simple place to park the RV," highlighting its suitability for "traveling work." This suggests that the park provides reliable basic amenities and a calm environment conducive to rest and work.
However, another reviewer, an electric vehicle owner traveling to Enid for a funeral, shared a less favorable experience regarding their attempt to use a hookup for charging. They contacted the park to inquire about charging as a backup and were told they could for the $30 nightly fee. Initially, the reviewer assumed this fee would cover charging for a full 24 hours. However, they were subsequently informed that the $30 fee was specifically for the two hours of charging they requested. This experience left the reviewer feeling that while the park might assist EV drivers in an absolute emergency, they would likely "rip you off" in the process. As a result, this reviewer advised other EV drivers to consider alternative charging options in Enid or nearby towns.
Environment:
Based on the positive review, the environment at Fairhaven RV Park is described as "quiet," which is a significant advantage for travelers seeking a peaceful stay. The lack of further description suggests a potentially simple and unelaborate setting, consistent with the reviewer's description of it being a "simple place to park the RV." The negative review does not comment on the general ambiance or surroundings of the park.
The absence of mentions of specific environmental features, such as trees, landscaping, or proximity to natural attractions, implies that Fairhaven RV Park might focus more on functionality rather than extensive aesthetic appeal. However, the quiet atmosphere reported by one guest suggests a potentially less congested and more relaxed environment compared to RV parks located in busier areas.
Services and Features:
The positive review explicitly mentions "steady power, clean water, and wifi" as available services, indicating that Fairhaven RV Park provides these essential utilities reliably. This is crucial for a comfortable and convenient RV stay, especially for those working remotely or needing consistent power and internet access.
The negative review focuses primarily on the charging experience for electric vehicles and does not provide information about other standard RV park amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or common areas. The absence of such mentions does not necessarily mean these amenities are unavailable, but it suggests they were not a focus for either of the reviewers.
The interaction with the park regarding EV charging reveals a policy of charging the nightly fee even for a short period of electricity use for charging purposes. This policy, while perhaps within the park's rights, was perceived as exploitative by the EV owner, highlighting a potential area of concern for this specific type of traveler.
The fact that the park responded to the EV owner's inquiry is noted as a positive aspect ("they were at least decent enough to respond!"), even though the outcome of the interaction was unfavorable for the reviewer.
Promotional Information:
The positive review, recommending the park for its reliability and quietness, serves as unsolicited positive feedback and could be seen as a form of promotion by a satisfied customer. The emphasis on "steady power, clean water, and wifi" highlights key selling points for RVers who prioritize these functional aspects.
There is no explicit promotional material or special offers mentioned in the provided reviews. The pricing is only discussed in the context of the EV charging attempt, where the $30 nightly fee was applied to a two-hour charging request. This suggests that the standard nightly rate at the time of the review was $30, but no information is available about daily, weekly, or monthly rates, or any other potential discounts.
The park's suitability for "traveling work," as mentioned by the positive reviewer, could be a target demographic for any promotional efforts, emphasizing the reliable utilities and quiet environment conducive to working remotely from an RV.
However, the negative experience shared by the EV owner serves as a cautionary note for this specific group of travelers, potentially deterring them despite the positive aspects mentioned by the other reviewer.
Summary of Considerations:
- Potential Pros (based on one review): Steady power, clean water, reliable Wi-Fi, quiet environment, seemingly suitable for short stays and traveling workers, responsive management (as noted by the EV owner).
- Potential Cons (based on one review): Potentially high cost for short-duration EV charging, lack of detailed information about other amenities, may not be the most EV-friendly option.
In conclusion, Fairhaven RV Park in Enid, Oklahoma, appears to be a simple and functional RV park that prioritizes essential utilities and a quiet atmosphere, making it a potentially good option for those needing a straightforward place to park their RV, especially for short stays or while working remotely. However, electric vehicle owners should be aware of the park's policy regarding charging fees, which may be perceived as unfavorable for short charging durations. Potential visitors seeking more elaborate amenities or specific environmental features may need to inquire directly with the park management. Overall, Fairhaven RV Park seems to cater to those who value reliability and peace over extensive recreational facilities or specialized services like EV charging at competitive rates for short durations.

Fairhaven RV Park Reviews
Steady power, clean water, wifi, and quiet. Highly recommend for anyone who just needs a simple place to park the RV. Perfect for traveling work.
Jul 27, 2024 · Matt OlsonI was coming to Enid for a funeral from OKC, and I drive an electric vehicle. I reached out to ask if I could use a hook up to charge as a back up, perfectly willing to pay to do so. They replied that I could for the $30 nightly fee. My thought was “Wonderful! I’d have use if it for the full 24 hours then!” Um…no. I was informed the $30 fee was for the two hours I requested.Bottom line: EV drivers, in an absolute emergency, they might help you out. But they’ll probably rip you off while doing it. There are other places in town to charge up, or if you are coming from the south too off at Perry before you get there.I gave 2 stars because they were at least decent enough to respond!
Dec 20, 2022 · sharon mccartyWe have been staying for a month, it is very quiet 7 days a week. This RV park is simple and close to a lot of great parks and things to do with kids. The staff has been helpful and kind when I needed help with mail, water, and WIFI. The spots are larger than other ones we have been at. I definitely recommend this place and next winter will be staying again.
Dec 11, 2020 · Roshell RichardsonI arrived in January to a park that looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The place I arrived at looked like a trashy field. Since I had driven 12+ hours I decided to stay for the night and find somewhere else the next day. The folks running the park at the time were so nice and accommodating in helping me get situated I decided to wait until the next weekend before finding somewhere else. During that first week the onsite manager and her husband were so nice I decided I’d stay since they explained that they were trying to get the park straightened out again. In early March I was informed that the on-site manager had been let go. Since the park was in such pitiful shape and the only one that seemed to care was being let go, I left. I am still in the area and have driven by on several occasions and nothing has changed. This park is still a dump! On top of that, I have yet to receive my deposit refund and they had the nerve to send me a bill for extra electrical charges for the month of March, saying I had gone over. How do you go over a months allowance when you leave the second week of the month? The current management keeps telling me they are trying to figure it out when I’m able to get them to answer the phone. I wouldn’t suggest this place unless you want to stay in an overpriced dump and deal with people that never respond.
May 09, 2019 · Scott HeflinI absolutely loved being in this park! It’s spacey and clean! They even have a washer and dryer and it’s more convenient than going to the laundry matt. Keith and Lisa are absolutely amazing! Any time I had any issues or concerns Keith would address them no matter how busy he was! I could talk to them forever they are the most patient, understanding pure people I’ve ever met! I will truly miss them but I will keep in contact with them! I hope I return to Enid Oklahoma just to see them and to eat at some places! But if you need a reason to stay here hopefully this is it for you!!! NO REGRETS!!! I was so sad to leave
