Trails West Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" that offer more than just a place to park, or if you are considering a move to a welcoming and amenity-rich mobile home community in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Trails West, located at 1450 Avenida de Mesilla, is definitely worth exploring. This well-regarded land lease property has garnered positive feedback from residents and visitors alike, highlighting its friendly atmosphere, top-notch amenities, and professional staff. While primarily a mobile home park, its offerings and environment suggest it could also be an excellent choice for discerning RV owners seeking a long-term community experience.
One of the most striking aspects of Trails West, according to resident reviews, is the exceptional sense of community and friendliness. Multiple reviewers emphasize the welcoming nature of both the staff and the residents. One individual, who initially considered moving in, noted being impressed by the smiles and waves received from everyone they passed while touring the community. This initial positive impression was further solidified upon moving in, with the reviewer expressing even greater satisfaction than anticipated. This strong sense of community is a significant draw for those seeking a place where neighbors are friendly and interactions are positive, a key element often desired when looking at "RV parks near me" for an extended stay.
The amenities at Trails West are consistently described as "top notch." Residents rave about the facilities provided, which include pools and a dog park. Importantly, these amenities are reported to be "immaculately clean," indicating a high standard of maintenance and care throughout the community. For RV owners, access to well-maintained amenities can greatly enhance their living experience, offering opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and pet care within the park itself. The presence of a dog park is particularly noteworthy for those traveling with pets, providing a dedicated and clean space for their animals to exercise and socialize.
The staff at Trails West also receive high praise for their courteousness and helpfulness. One reviewer specifically mentioned Leigh, who conducted a tour of homes for sale, noting her professional demeanor and the fact that she greeted every resident by name. This personal touch and the overall professionalism of the office staff contribute to a positive living environment and suggest that residents can expect efficient and friendly service when needed. This level of staff engagement is often a crucial factor for those considering long-term stays in "RV parks near me," as it reflects the overall management quality and responsiveness of the community.
Trails West operates as a land lease property, and one reviewer helpfully clarified the monthly payment structure in response to a query about a $700 figure. They explained that the monthly rent is based on the size of the home and the property. Importantly, this payment covers community upkeep, staff salaries, and both the residents' water usage and the water for the community-wide drip system. This is a significant benefit, especially considering the desert environment of Las Cruces, where water conservation and costs can be a concern. The inclusion of water in the monthly lease fee provides a predictable expense and eliminates the need for separate water bills, a considerable convenience for both mobile home and long-term RV residents.
The well-maintained environment of Trails West extends beyond the cleanliness of the amenities. The positive comments about the overall "look & feel" of the community during a tour suggest that the grounds are attractive and well-cared for. The presence of many walkers in the community, who nod or wave to each other, further reinforces the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This emphasis on creating a pleasant and well-maintained environment contributes significantly to the quality of life for all residents, whether in mobile homes or RVs.
While the primary focus of the reviews is on the community aspect, amenities, and staff, the information provided strongly suggests that Trails West offers a high standard of living that could appeal to those seeking "RV parks near me" for an extended period. The land lease model might be particularly attractive to RV owners looking for a more stable and community-oriented long-term arrangement compared to traditional short-term RV parks. The inclusion of water in the lease fee and the availability of amenities like pools and a dog park add significant value.
Although specific details about RV site sizes, hookups, or dedicated RV amenities beyond the general park features are not explicitly mentioned, the overall positive reviews and the description of a well-maintained, amenity-rich community with a strong sense of belonging make Trails West a compelling option to investigate further for those considering "RV living Las Cruces." The emphasis on cleanliness, friendly residents, and helpful staff creates an attractive environment for anyone looking for a long-term community, regardless of their housing type.
In conclusion, Trails West at 1450 Avenida de Mesilla, Las Cruces, NM, appears to be a premier land lease community that offers a high quality of life for its residents. The consistently positive reviews highlight its friendly atmosphere, top-notch and immaculately clean amenities (including pools and a dog park), and courteous, professional staff. The monthly lease covers essential services like water and contributes to the upkeep of the community. While primarily a mobile home park, its environment and amenities suggest it could also be an excellent choice for RV owners seeking a long-term, community-oriented living experience in Las Cruces. Trails West Reviews
I love it here. They are super friendly, everyone that lives here are great, and the amenities that they provide for residents are top notch. From the pools to the dog park, everything is kept immaculately clean. I'm glad that my parents found this place to live.
Jun 02, 2024 · Kelly AhrendesUPDATE: I did move into TW last Summer, and I like it even more than I anticipated I would!Staff is courteous and extremely helpful. The residents here are also great. Many walkers, so everyone nods or waves to each other.I made a great choice! 😊In response to the person who talked about $700. This is a Land Lease property, and your monthly rent is based on the size of your home & the property. My monthly payment is less than $700. This covers the community upkeep, salaries, and both your water and the water for the community-wide drip system. Remember, this is the desert, so covering both water systems is great.PREVIOUS: I don’t live in Trails West, but I might be soon. ☺️I toured the community with a friend who is a resident, and I was impressed by the look & feel. I met some very nice residents, and everyone I passed gave me a smile and a wave. That’s what I’m looking for. 😊I met with Leigh to tour some homes for sale (she greeted every resident we saw by name). Her professional demeanor, and that of the others I met in the office, was appreciated. Now, to only find the right home! 😊
