Travelers Paradise RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Bay City, Texas area, Travelers Paradise RV Park, located at 2517 Nichols Ave, Bay City, TX 77414, USA, presents a potentially appealing option based on customer feedback. This park is highlighted for its quiet atmosphere, mature trees, reasonable pricing, and a nice owner. Its convenient location near shopping amenities in Bay City adds to its attractiveness. However, prospective guests should also be aware of its proximity to train tracks, which may result in occasional noise. This introduction aims to provide a comprehensive and objective overview of Travelers Paradise RV Park, incorporating all available information regarding its environment, services, features, and overall appeal.
Environment and Natural Setting:
Travelers Paradise RV Park is described by a visitor as "very quiet," which is a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing environment during their travels. The presence of "a lot of mature trees" is another notable environmental feature. Mature trees can provide ample shade, enhancing the comfort of campsites, especially during the hot Texas summers. They also contribute to the aesthetic appeal of the park, creating a more natural and pleasant setting compared to parks with little or no tree cover. The combination of a quiet atmosphere and a well-treed environment suggests a potentially serene and comfortable outdoor living experience for RVers.
However, it is important to balance these positive aspects with another environmental factor mentioned in the reviews. The park is located "close to train tracks," which means that guests should expect to hear "train whistles." The frequency and intensity of this noise could vary, and its impact on individual guests will depend on their sensitivity to sound. While the park offers a quiet internal environment, the external noise from nearby trains is a factor that potential visitors should consider.
Services and Amenities:
The available reviews provide limited information about specific services and amenities offered at Travelers Paradise RV Park. However, the mention of the park being "reasonably priced" suggests that it offers an affordable option for RV travelers in the Bay City area. The value proposition of the park likely lies in its basic offerings, its quiet environment, and its convenient location, rather than a wide array of luxurious amenities.
The absence of specific mentions of amenities like laundry facilities, shower houses, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas in the reviews does not necessarily mean they are not available, but it indicates that these were not the primary aspects that stood out to the reviewers. Potential guests may need to contact the park directly to inquire about the availability and quality of specific amenities that are important to them.
Features and Management:
One of the positive features highlighted in the reviews is the owner, who is described as "nice." A friendly and approachable owner or manager can significantly enhance the guest experience in an RV park, contributing to a welcoming and helpful atmosphere. Positive interactions with the park's management can make a stay more enjoyable and can be particularly valuable if guests have any questions or need assistance during their visit.
Another key feature of Travelers Paradise RV Park is its "conveniently located in Bay City close to a lot of shopping." This accessibility to shopping amenities is a significant advantage for travelers who may need to replenish supplies, run errands, or simply enjoy retail therapy during their stay. The convenience of having shopping options nearby adds to the overall practicality and appeal of the park, especially for longer stays.

Travelers Paradise RV Park Reviews
This park is very quiet and it has a lot of mature trees. It's reasonably priced, and the owner is nice, too.
Apr 11, 2025 · Tammy DenneyDecent RV Park that is conveniently located in Bay City close to a lot of shopping. It is close to train tracks so you will hear train whistles.
Mar 28, 2025 · james caulfieldWe evacuated for hurricane Laura. Leaving in a hurry and hauling an rv can be very stressful but the owner was very kind and hospitable, which made booking the stay and the whole process very pleasant. Our neighbors (who had to leave for the storm also) decided to stay here upon our recommendation. They too, expressed how nice the park was, especially the owner and the grounds keeper. Most importantly to us, the park is very shady and is pet friendly. We have 2 Rottweilers and we were welcomed and treated fairly, which is not always the case in many parks. This park is located in the center of everything and only 30 mins from the beach. It's a sweet little gem of a place and was a pleasant find in the mist of the circumstances of hurricane Laura.
Aug 28, 2020 · Nicole BowerIf I could give zero stars I would , this campsite is horrible !! Absolutely disgusting and not to mention next to train tracks . My Husband and I came in well they had no electricity understandable due to hurricane that just passed through . My husband paid him $100 deposit before we got here . he never mentioned there was a non refundable or partial refund if you decided not to stay . I called the guy and he was absolutely rude ! I asked questions that my husband didn’t and he got offended ! Told me he wasn’t going to argue with me yet all I said is why aren’t we getting a full deposit back if we aren’t staying I asked him if he mentioned it to my husband and he said I’m not arguing with you either take half of your deposit or none at all , he said to get out of the rv park stop wasting his time he could be having other people for that spot and hung up , Worst customer service!! You can definitely tell they are not American because of the accent ! And let’s not mention he could care less if a family with a 4 yr old had electricity or not ! Refunded 50 ! Yet never signed paperwork showed paper or told us verbally it was non refundable! He just cared about the money ! You could clearly tell ! Pretty sorry if you have questions he gets loud with you and rude and hang up !Luckily there was another rv park with a polite person and availability and electricity!
Jul 11, 2024 · Liz SanchezI find this park very quiet. The residents here are very friendly and also helpful. Anytime there is a problem with anything management has taken care of it in a very timely manner. Pet friendly and lots of space for walking them.
