Trombetta's Resort Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Clearlake, California area? If so, you might be considering Trombetta's Resort, located at 5865 Old Hwy 53, Clearlake, CA 95422. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of the RV park, combining publicly available information to give you an objective understanding of what to expect.
When choosing an RV park, several factors typically come into play: the environment and atmosphere, the services and amenities offered, the specific features of the park, and, importantly, the experiences of other RVers who have stayed there. By considering these aspects, you can make an informed decision that aligns with your travel needs and preferences.
Based on recent customer reviews found online, it appears that Trombetta's Resort has faced significant challenges and may not currently offer the standard amenities and environment that many RV travelers expect. One review explicitly mentions the absence of a swimming pool and laundry room, which are often considered essential facilities for extended stays. Furthermore, this review states that the bathrooms were shut down at some point. The review also raises concerns about the management of the park, noting a high turnover rate with five managers in an eight-month period. Allegations of drug selling within the park and a lack of responsiveness from the owner regarding maintenance issues are also mentioned.
The same review paints a picture of a potentially unkempt environment, with claims of cable service being turned off, rules not being enforced by management, and issues such as trash accumulation in yards, frequent movement of people, and even the presence of marijuana plants. Concerns are also raised about roaming animals, including cats allegedly defecating in yards and dogs being frequently loose. Additionally, there are mentions of pest problems, specifically cockroaches in the units, and a widespread issue of non-payment of rent due to the reported conditions.
It's important to note that this detailed negative review concludes with a strong statement suggesting that any five-star ratings the park might have received are potentially incentivized and that the park is, in the reviewer's opinion, "a joke." This feedback highlights significant potential drawbacks for anyone considering a stay at Trombetta's Resort.
However, it is also crucial to consider all available feedback. Amidst the critical review, there is a brief, positive comment attributed to "Anna smith," who is thanked for being "very helpful," and her "services" are recommended. This suggests that at least one individual had a positive interaction or received helpful assistance at the resort. Without further context, it's difficult to ascertain the specifics of this positive experience or whether it pertains to the overall condition and amenities of the park itself.
When evaluating an RV park listed under the category "RV parks near me," potential guests typically look for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the local area or for a longer-term living situation. Key considerations often include the availability of essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer hookups, the condition of the grounds and facilities, the presence of amenities like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and recreational areas, and the overall safety and management of the park.
Given the stark contrast between the detailed negative review and the brief positive comment, it would be prudent for any prospective visitors to seek the most up-to-date information and potentially verify the current conditions and management of Trombetta's Resort through additional channels. This could include looking for more recent reviews on other platforms, contacting the park directly to inquire about current amenities and policies, or even visiting the location in person to assess the environment before making a commitment.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Clearlake, CA, it's essential to weigh all available information to make an informed decision. While Trombetta's Resort is listed at the provided address, the recent feedback suggests that significant improvements may be needed to meet the expectations of most RV travelers. Factors such as the reported lack of essential amenities (swimming pool, laundry, functioning bathrooms), the alleged management issues, and the concerns about the environment and safety are crucial points to consider.
The positive comment regarding helpful service from an individual named Anna Smith offers a glimmer of a potentially positive aspect of the resort. However, it does not address the broader concerns raised in the more detailed negative review regarding the park's infrastructure and overall management.
As a local user exploring "RV parks near me," you might want to prioritize parks that consistently receive positive feedback regarding their amenities, management, cleanliness, and safety. It would be beneficial to research other RV parks in the Clearlake area to compare their offerings and reviews. Websites dedicated to RV park reviews and online travel forums can often provide a broader range of perspectives from fellow RVers.
In conclusion, while Trombetta's Resort is located in Clearlake, CA, the most recent detailed customer review available online raises significant concerns about its amenities, management, and overall environment. The brief positive comment about helpful service does not negate these broader issues. Therefore, local users searching for "RV parks near me" should exercise caution and seek further information before considering a stay at Trombetta's Resort. It would be advisable to explore other options in the area that may offer a more reliable and positive RV park experience based on current feedback and available amenities.

Trombetta's Resort Reviews
No swimming pool, no laundry room, and bathrooms shut down. Have had 5 managers in 8 months. Drug selling in the park. Owner doesn't fix anything. Cable turned off. Managers don't enforce rules or do anything. Many people with nasty trash etc all over the yard. People in and out constantly. Marijuana plants growing in people's backyards. Cats running all over the park pooping in people's yards. Dogs loose very often. Cockroaches in units. Nobody pays rent because of everything going on.😣 The people giving 5 stars are being paid! This park is a joke!
May 23, 2017 · Rachael olmsteadThank u Anna smith. She was very helpful. I recomend there services
Dec 12, 2024 · Angelina PerezI do not recommend anyone living in that establishment. Because it is unprofessional, they're asking way too much for rent in the smaller cottages which is approximately $1,100 a month and that's for a one bedroom. There are some residents there that are questionable.
May 19, 2023 · Jennifer BonseyNo managers on site, owner of the park doesn't want things done the right way. Bathrooms don't work, power post for the RV spots don't work half of the time. No laundry room someone took them and sold them for money. Some places look like a junk yard and one has trash outside bunch of cars, furniture. No cable to watch TV. Police has been to people's homes to be served to move out and the people are still there and don't pay rent there just living there for free. People let there dogs off the leash let them run around. This park needs to be shut down as soon as possible by the county. The codes are not up to date in this park. This park nasty and lots of traffic comes in and out. So I would say find another place to live that's better then this park
Apr 16, 2016 · Cali CarnageMobile home Park with a few permanent residence cabins. Park come across as dirty with many drug users living there. Has on-site laundry facilities that are falling down. A small pool available in the summer for residents. Many of the residents appear to be friendly and nice but as most places there is also an unsavory element, the police frequent this area.
