United RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Longview, Texas area, United RV Park, located at 218 Thomas Rd, presents a community with a long-standing presence, as indicated by one resident of over 14 years. However, recent feedback also includes a significant concern regarding a change in management. To provide a detailed and objective introduction, it's crucial to consider both the positive and negative perspectives available from individuals who have experienced this park.
One long-term resident offers a glowing review, stating, "Have lived there over 14 years! Great park! Great owners! We have improved our lot! Love living there!" This positive testimonial speaks to the potential for a satisfying long-term living experience at United RV Park. The fact that a resident has stayed for such an extended period and expresses love for living there suggests a stable and positive community environment, at least under the previous ownership or management. The resident also mentions, "We have improved our lot!" indicating a degree of autonomy and investment that long-term residents may have in their living spaces. Furthermore, they highlight a specific park rule: "No big dogs allowed, according to park rules that are signed upon getting a lot!" This is an important piece of information for potential residents with pets, indicating a policy that favors smaller dogs.
In contrast to this long-term positive experience, a more recent review expresses significant dissatisfaction with a change in management. The reviewer states, "This place would've been a nice park however the son of the owner took over and he is a weasel." This immediately introduces a strong negative sentiment regarding the current leadership. The reviewer recounts a negative first impression, noting that the new manager "wouldnt make eye contact when shaking my hand and he was two faced. He would say one thing and then run and tell momma something completely different." This paints a picture of untrustworthiness and poor interpersonal skills, which can significantly impact the quality of life for residents in a close-knit community like an RV park.
The same reviewer goes on to express a dire outlook for the park under the new management, stating, "If the place goes down the drain it would be a blessing to Longview." This extreme statement suggests a severe level of dissatisfaction and concern for the park's future. The reviewer further claims, "I haven't ever had any issues with any other park I've been to, to date, aside from this tragedy. Glad to be out of there and I feel for the ones that come across it. You can't trust a weasel." This personal anecdote underscores a deeply negative experience and serves as a strong warning to potential future residents.
Considering the environment of United RV Park, the long-term resident's positive feedback suggests a "Great park!" where residents feel comfortable enough to invest in improving their lots. The rule against big dogs might contribute to a certain type of atmosphere within the park. However, the negative review does not provide specific details about the physical environment, focusing instead on the perceived negative impact of the new management on the overall atmosphere and trust within the community. Potential residents might find a well-established environment with long-term residents, but the overall ambiance could be affected by the change in leadership.
Information regarding the specific services and features of United RV Park is somewhat limited in these reviews. The mention of improving one's lot suggests that residents have some level of autonomy over their space, implying the availability of long-term lot rentals. The explicit rule about "No big dogs allowed" indicates a specific pet policy that potential residents with larger dogs need to be aware of. Beyond this, details about hookups (water, electricity, sewer), restroom and laundry facilities, recreational areas, or other common RV park amenities are not mentioned in the provided feedback. The focus of the reviews is primarily on the management and the overall community experience.
There is no promotional information available in the provided text. Therefore, details about pricing, special offers, or long-term stay discounts are not accessible from these reviews. Individuals interested in learning about the costs and availability at United RV Park will need to contact them directly at (903) 738-8850 or +1 903-738-8850.
In conclusion, United RV Park in Longview, TX, presents a complex picture for those searching for "RV parks near me." While it has a history of being a "Great park" with "Great owners" according to a long-term resident who appreciates the community and the ability to improve their lot, a more recent review expresses serious concerns about the new management, describing a lack of trust and a potentially negative impact on the park's atmosphere. The park has a specific rule against big dogs. Potential residents should weigh these contrasting perspectives carefully. The positive long-term experience suggests a potentially stable community, but the strong negative feedback regarding the new management warrants caution and further inquiry. It would be advisable to contact the park directly to understand the current management situation, the available amenities, and the overall atmosphere before making a decision about residing at United RV Park.

Mar 17, 2022 · Tim VailI DO NOT recommend this rv park. My girlfriend stayed here with her service dogs and all they did was harass her the whole time she was there my gf is a 4 time marine combat veteran that was told that her kind dont belong here. Laws do not apply to these owners they make their own rules. We don't recommend any veteran with service animals to stay here. Laws had to be called multiple times on the owners for harassment. They even gave out personal info to someone who doesn't own the place to harass me while I'm at work. If you have big service dogs or big dogs do not stay here.
