Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living options in the Castro Valley, California area, Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park, located at 3875 Castro Valley Blvd, Castro Valley, CA 94546, USA, is a community that warrants consideration. You can reach them at (510) 537-4493 or +1 510-537-4493 for inquiries. Based on recent customer reviews, Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture, with concerns raised about space and cleanliness contrasted by positive feedback regarding new management and a more peaceful community environment.
One individual who visited the park while searching for a mobile home expressed concerns about the spatial arrangement and amenities. They noted that the properties appeared to be "to small" and the mobile homes situated "to near each other," resulting in limited space. The parking situation was also a point of criticism, with "nearly space to park one car" and "no parking spaces available for visitors" being specifically mentioned. This lack of visitor parking could be an inconvenience for residents who frequently have guests. Furthermore, this reviewer described the laundry room as "really dirty," which raises concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance of communal facilities within the park. In comparison to other mobile home parks in the vicinity, this reviewer observed that those properties offered more separation between homes, potentially providing greater privacy, appeared cleaner, and had visitor parking spaces.
In contrast, a resident who moved to Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park approximately three years ago from San Mateo offers a more positive perspective, particularly regarding changes in management and the overall community atmosphere. This reviewer mentioned that new owners and a new manager took over just a few months before their arrival. While their initial period of residency saw frequent police presence (attributed to specific individuals), they report that the "riff raff" have since been evicted, leading to a significantly quieter environment. They describe the park as "very quiet" and note that everyone they have encountered are "very nice and personable." This suggests a positive social dynamic among the current residents.
A key element of this positive feedback is the praise for the current manager, Shawn. The reviewer describes Shawn as "very friendly" and commends their efforts in maintaining the park, stating that Shawn "does and is doing a great job at the upkeep of the park." This directly contradicts the other reviewer's negative observation about the laundry room's cleanliness, suggesting that improvements may have been made or that experiences can vary. The positive remarks about the manager indicate a potentially responsive and effective administration of the community.
Considering these two reviews, it appears that Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park has undergone positive changes in recent years, particularly concerning the management and the overall peace and quiet of the community. The negative feedback regarding the limited space between homes, the restrictive parking situation, and the past cleanliness of the laundry room are important points to acknowledge. However, the more recent resident's experience suggests that the park is now under more effective management, fostering a friendly and quiet atmosphere.
As Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park is listed under the category of "RV parks near me," it is possible that it accommodates both mobile homes for longer-term residency and recreational vehicles for shorter or extended stays. Individuals searching for either type of accommodation in Castro Valley should consider these reviews in the context of their specific needs. For those seeking a spacious environment with ample parking, the first review raises concerns. However, for those prioritizing a quiet community with a friendly manager and residents, the second review offers encouragement.
Prospective residents or RVers should contact Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park directly to inquire about the current availability of spaces, the layout and size of the lots, the parking arrangements for residents and visitors, the status and cleanliness of the laundry facilities, and any other amenities offered within the park. It would also be beneficial to ask about the current management's policies and their approach to maintaining the community and addressing resident concerns.
Castro Valley is a well-situated area within the East Bay, offering a suburban environment with access to various amenities and transportation options. The location of Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park on Castro Valley Boulevard suggests proximity to local services and potentially public transportation.
In conclusion, Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park in Castro Valley presents a community that appears to be in a state of positive transition under new management. While past issues regarding space limitations, parking, and cleanliness have been noted, more recent feedback highlights a quieter, friendlier environment and a proactive manager focused on upkeep. Individuals considering this park should weigh the potential benefits of the improved atmosphere and management against the concerns about space and parking, and conduct their own due diligence by contacting the park directly for the most current information.

Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park Reviews
I went to see this place cause I’m looking for a mobile home and the properties are to small. The mobile homes are to near each other nearly space to park one car and no parking spaces available for visitors. Also the laundry room it’s really dirty.I have seen other places around and the mobile homes are more apart to each other which means little more privacy. They look much cleaner and have visitor parking spaces.
Jan 12, 2021 · Gabriela GonzalezI moved here from San Mateo 3 years ago, my first time living in a mobile home park. I was told that there were new owners and a new manager that took over just a few months prior to me moving in. Granted, my first year or so, I saw cop cars many times (mainly due to the same persons/problem), but since then the "riff raff" have been kicked out. It's very quiet and everyone I've come into contact with are very nice and personable. Shawn, the manager, is very friendly and does and is doing a great job at the upkeep of the park.
