West Camp Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Arlington, Texas area? Look no further than West Camp, located at 2910 W Division St, Arlington, TX 76012, USA. This RV park offers a straightforward and quiet camping experience, providing a convenient base for exploring Arlington and the surrounding region. You can reach them by phone at (817) 275-5151 or mobile at +1 817-275-5151 for inquiries and potential availability.
Based on customer reviews, West Camp presents a simple and laid-back environment. One reviewer describes it as a "simple down and back," suggesting an easy-to-navigate layout. A notable aspect highlighted is the relaxed approach to rules enforcement by the owner, which allows for a significant degree of personalization of individual RV sites. This freedom enables campers to truly make their space their own, catering to those who appreciate a less regimented camping experience.
The size of the RV sites at West Camp is another frequently mentioned positive. Reviewers indicate that the sites are "pretty large," offering ample space for RVs of various sizes and potentially leaving room for additional setups or outdoor living areas. This spaciousness can contribute to a more comfortable and less cramped camping experience, especially for longer stays.
However, it's important to consider all aspects mentioned in the reviews. One point of contention raised by a former customer concerns the park's policy regarding the age of RVs. Despite the presence of older-looking RVs on the property, the owner reportedly does not accept RVs older than 10 years. This policy might be a crucial factor for potential guests with RVs exceeding this age limit. It is advisable to confirm the current RV age policy directly with West Camp when making inquiries.
Another practical consideration for prospective visitors is the park's occupancy. According to a review, the parking area is often full, and West Camp does not maintain a waiting list. This suggests that securing a spot might require persistence, as the reviewer noted having to "call and call and call" to potentially find availability. It is highly recommended to contact West Camp well in advance of your intended stay to check for openings.
It's also worth noting a significant concern raised by an individual who claims to have never stayed at the park but encountered issues with their website. The review mentions being "bombarded with spam advertisements and dangerous one-click ventures" upon attempting to access the website, leading to the recommendation that the website should be taken down. While this feedback doesn't directly reflect the physical RV park experience, it is a point of caution for those seeking information online. It might be prudent to rely on phone contact for inquiries until the website situation is clarified or resolved.
In summary, West Camp in Arlington, Texas, offers a no-frills, quiet RV camping experience with the significant advantages of large, customizable sites and a relaxed atmosphere due to flexible rule enforcement. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported RV age restriction and the possibility of high occupancy without a waiting list, necessitating proactive and potentially repeated contact for booking. The issues reported with the website also suggest that direct phone communication might be the most reliable way to gather information and make reservations at this time.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Arlington, West Camp presents itself as an option with a focus on spaciousness and freedom within individual sites. While the online presence through their website seems problematic based on a review, direct contact via phone at (817) 275-5151 or +1 817-275-5151 will likely provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding availability and policies. We encourage you to call them to discuss your specific needs and RV to determine if West Camp is the right fit for your camping experience in the Arlington area.
When considering your options for RV parks in the vicinity, remember to weigh the benefits of large, adaptable sites and a less restrictive environment against the potential challenges of the RV age policy and the need for diligent communication regarding availability. West Camp caters to those who prioritize space and autonomy in their camping setup, offering a unique experience within the Arlington RV park landscape.
As you explore "RV parks near me," keep in mind that each park offers a different set of amenities and atmosphere. West Camp's emphasis on simplicity and site customization might appeal to a specific type of RVer. We recommend contacting them directly to gain a clearer understanding of their current offerings and to address any specific concerns you might have. This will help you make an informed decision and choose the RV park that best suits your travel needs in Arlington, Texas.

West Camp Reviews
Park is a simple down and back. Quiet. Owner doesn’t have/enforce rules so there is a lot of freedom to make your site your own. And they’re pretty large sites. However, despite having harsh looking RVs and spots, he doesn’t accept anything over 10 years—ha! He should move a few out then!!! Parking full and he doesn’t have a waiting list. Just have to call and call and call.
Jan 28, 2025 · Beth SchmidtLet me be clear. I have Never stayed at this RV park before; however, I can't even see their website before I'm bombarded with spam advertisements and dangerous one-click ventures. the website should be taken down.
Jul 03, 2024 · Sean NicholsonIt's been a great place too live. I look forward to coming home. Most of the issues with the park are city related. I'm reducing my star count as rent went up nearly 100 bucks. From $575 all the way up to $650. This is allegedly because of an increase in utility rates. And along with every rent increase we generally loose amenities. There are 30ish slots at 650 a month. You do the math, If you live with one other person you could Afford standard housing and maybe pay a bit less. This place also has 0 access to high speed internet, other than expensive hotspot. Some days a train comes by every half hour, those is right against the tracks.bills are covered. But at a $100 rent increase ... are they? My wife and I are considering a move to Oklahoma where 650 a month is just about your house payment, and it's generally 10° cooler every day. That would be the other issue is some of the lots have very little shade, my air conditioner can barely keep up with the amount of heat that's falling on my house, and if you try and run two air conditioning units to compensate they want to charge you $100 extra a month. On a good day during the summer it's about 79° in the coolest part of the house maybe 75 if I'm lucky, and anywhere from say 90 to 100 in the kitchen part of the trailer, so I would say pick a Primo spot with a shade tree, if the spot available is going to just rain down sun on your trailer all day I'd find another place. This type of thing will kill your AC unit and they aren't necessarily cheap to replace. I'd like to point out that when I first moved in rent was 475 a month that was bills included, it took almost 6 years for it to get to 575, and then in less than a year went from 575 all the way up to 650, with the reduction I'm sure they're getting for the bulk electricity usage and payment that seems like about what everybody would be using per month, if not exactly that it does seem like a way to have the tenants pay a considerable portion of utilities
Aug 19, 2023 · Douglas LaneI called to find out vacancies and his response was, " Like I told you yesterday, I have no vacancies." ( I have never called this location). I informed him that I have never called. He proceeded to argue with me, that I did. Then he informed me of just how busy he was and he didn't have time for me. So I hung up on him. No people skills or customer service skills at all. After that call, even if he had an open spot I would not take it. Very hateful man.
Apr 21, 2018 · Peggy GentzelVery nice onsite Mgr. Good rates....if a space is available!$650 move in, $525/mo includes FHU (yes, power included).Cons: Adult only park, NO PETS.Abundant major construction in the area keeps this gem full.
