Whispering Oaks RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Whispering Oaks RV Park, located at 802 N Division St, provides a practical and convenient option, particularly for RVers seeking full hookups without extensive frills. Based on feedback from recent visitors, Whispering Oaks RV Park offers an affordable, clean, and easily accessible environment suitable for both short-term and potentially longer-term stays. While it may lack some of the extra amenities found in more resort-style parks, its focus on the essentials and its accommodating features make it a worthwhile consideration for travelers passing through or those needing a reliable place to stay for an extended period.
The environment at Whispering Oaks RV Park is described as basic yet functional. One reviewer noted that it offers "basic full hookups with little to no amenities," indicating a focus on the essential services needed for RV living rather than elaborate extras. The park is appreciated for its level and paved spots, which are designed to accommodate large campers, making it accessible for a wide range of RV sizes. Maneuvering within the park is also reported to be easy, with no significant obstacles like trees to contend with when accessing or backing into sites. This ease of access is a significant advantage for RVers, especially those with larger rigs who often face challenges in navigating tighter spaces.
A key environmental factor to consider at Whispering Oaks RV Park is its proximity to train tracks, located approximately 200 yards away. While one reviewer mentioned that the noise from the train could be "very noisy in the middle of the night," they also noted the presence of a large warehouse situated between the campsite and the rails, which effectively "blocks a lot of the sound." This suggests that while train noise may be a factor, it is somewhat mitigated by the intervening structure. Potential guests sensitive to noise, particularly at night, should be aware of this proximity and consider bringing earplugs or using white noise machines if needed. However, the reviewer who stayed for about four months indicated that this was the only downside they experienced, suggesting that for many, the noise is manageable.
The services and features at Whispering Oaks RV Park primarily revolve around providing essential full hookups, including water, electricity, and sewer connections at each site. As mentioned by a reviewer, the park focuses on these basics without a plethora of additional amenities. However, the availability of a "mailbox option for longer term stays" suggests that the park is equipped to accommodate residents who plan to stay for an extended period, providing a necessary service for mail delivery. The owner is described as "nice and responsive" by a long-term guest, indicating good management and a willingness to address any concerns that may arise. Furthermore, the property is reported to be "clean and safe," which are crucial aspects for any RV park, ensuring a comfortable and secure living environment for all guests.
One notable feature of Whispering Oaks RV Park is its ongoing expansion. A reviewer mentioned that the park is "expanding and nearly doubling the size," suggesting that the facility is growing and likely increasing its capacity to accommodate more RVers. This expansion could potentially lead to the addition of more amenities in the future, although this is not explicitly stated in the provided reviews. The fact that the park is growing indicates a positive trend and potentially an increased ability to serve the needs of more travelers and long-term residents in the Sapulpa area.
Accessibility to Whispering Oaks RV Park is generally reported to be easy, although one reviewer cautioned about visibility at night, advising to "pay attention to your roads and maps at night and take it slow because you might miss it since I didn't notice a lot of business sign." This suggests that while the park is accessible, its signage might be limited, particularly at night. Therefore, first-time visitors, especially those arriving after dark, should pay close attention to their directions and drive cautiously to avoid missing the entrance.
Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, who prioritize affordability, essential full hookups, and ease of access, Whispering Oaks RV Park presents a solid option. Its level and paved sites accommodate large campers, and the park is reported to be clean and safe, with a responsive owner. While the proximity to train tracks may be a consideration for some, the mitigating effect of a nearby warehouse and the positive experiences of other guests suggest that it is manageable for many. The ongoing expansion of the park indicates a positive development and potential for future improvements. Just be mindful of the signage, especially when arriving at night. Overall, Whispering Oaks RV Park offers a practical and reliable base for exploring the Sapulpa area or as a convenient stopover during your travels.
In conclusion, Whispering Oaks RV Park in Sapulpa, OK, provides a no-frills yet functional and affordable option for RVers seeking "RV parks near me." Whispering Oaks RV Park Reviews
Basic full hookups with little to no amenities, but I don't need all the extras. The price is right and most of the spots are level and paved to fit large campers. Easy to access and back into. You don't have to worry about obstacles like trees. They are expanding and nearly doubling the size. This is maybe 200 yards from train tracks but there is a large warehouse between the campsite and the rails that blocks a lot of the sound. I'd stay here again when passing through. Pay attention to your roads and maps at night and take it slow because you might miss it since I didn't notice a lot of business sign. I did see a mailbox option for longer term stays.
Nov 23, 2024 · Justin LindseyI had no issues. Stayed for about 4 months. The only downside was the train sometimes was very noisy in the middle of the night. The owner was nice and responsive. The property was clean and safe.
Dec 19, 2024 · GeLesa GoodwinGreat place to stop for those traveling though. The man I spoke to wasvery helpful, friendly and accommodating. Nice level concrete pad to park on. I didn’t have to unhook either. 50amp, water and sewer on the site. There are train tracks nearby, that could be easily heard, but they didn’t keep me up at all. So if you’re a light sleeper, you might be annoyed. This CG is behind an industrial complex as some photos show. While awkward to find, thinking you’re lost, your not. There was no issues of noise or light from the complex.I would definitely stay here again.
