Whispering Woods RV & MHP Introduce
Are you currently seeking "RV parks near me" or exploring options for mobile home living in the Queen City, Texas area? Whispering Woods RV & MHP, situated at Rosebud Ln #7, Queen City, TX 75572, USA, presents itself as a community catering to both recreational vehicles and mobile homes. While one resident initially described it as "quiet, peaceful, and peaceful," a deeper look into the available customer reviews reveals significant concerns regarding the park's management and utility billing practices that potential residents should carefully consider.
Located in Queen City, Texas, Whispering Woods RV & MHP is positioned in a presumably quieter, more rural setting, which aligns with the positive comment about its peaceful atmosphere. For individuals seeking "RV living Queen City TX" or "mobile homes for rent Queen City TX" away from the hustle and bustle of larger urban areas, this aspect might be appealing. The natural environment surrounding Queen City typically features the East Texas woodlands, potentially offering a scenic and tranquil backdrop for residents. If a quiet and peaceful environment is a top priority when searching for "mobile home parks near me" or "quiet RV parks," the initial feedback suggests that Whispering Woods RV & MHP could offer this ambiance.
However, the positive aspects of the environment are overshadowed by serious allegations regarding the park's management and infrastructure. One resident, who stated they initially loved living there, detailed significant maintenance issues, including prolonged power outages affecting a portion of their trailer and a malfunctioning hot water heater that remained unaddressed for an extended period despite repeated notifications to the manager. These issues raise concerns about the responsiveness and effectiveness of the park's management in addressing essential maintenance needs, which are crucial for the comfort and safety of residents. The resident's fear of potential fire hazards due to the electrical problems is particularly alarming and underscores the importance of timely and effective maintenance.
Furthermore, the same reviewer expressed frustration over the manager's apparent negligence in addressing these critical issues, citing instances of the manager stating he "keeps forgetting." This lack of action and communication can significantly impact the quality of life for residents and erode trust in the management's commitment to maintaining a habitable living environment. For those seeking "mobile home services Texas" or "RV amenities Texas" that include reliable maintenance, the experiences shared in this review should prompt careful consideration.
Another highly critical review paints an even more concerning picture of Whispering Woods RV & MHP. This resident describes it as a "terrible terrible place to live," citing issues with frequent increases in lot fees and, more alarmingly, "outrageous water bills" that are allegedly not transparent or verifiable due to a lack of proper submetering. The accusation that residents are being held responsible for water leaks outside their own meters, which should be the park's responsibility, is a serious charge. The reviewer's claim of a $400 water bill despite a visible leak outside their meter and the inability to dispute this with public utilities due to the park's operational structure under West Cass Tracy Hershey and William Kirby are deeply troubling.
The assertion that "all of the tenants are moving out" due to these unexplained and high water bills suggests a widespread problem affecting the community. If true, this high turnover rate could indicate a significant level of dissatisfaction among residents. The lack of transparency and the alleged practice of charging residents for water leaks outside their control are serious ethical and financial concerns for anyone considering living at Whispering Woods RV & MHP. For individuals seeking "affordable housing Queen City TX" or "RV parks near me" with fair and transparent billing practices, the information in this review raises significant red flags.
Given these serious allegations, it is challenging to objectively discuss the typical services and features one might expect from an RV and mobile home park. Generally, such parks should offer basic utility hookups (electricity, water, sewer) at each site, road maintenance, and potentially communal facilities like laundry rooms, restrooms, and showers (especially relevant for RV parks). However, the negative reviews cast doubt on the reliable provision and fair billing of at least one essential utility, water, at Whispering Woods RV & MHP. The lack of mention of other amenities in either review makes it difficult to ascertain what else the park might offer.
No promotional information is available for Whispering Woods RV & MHP based on the provided data. Typically, parks might advertise their quiet environment, amenities, or special rates to attract new residents. However, the overwhelmingly negative concerns raised in the reviews regarding management responsiveness, maintenance issues, and questionable water billing practices would likely outweigh any potential promotional appeal based solely on the environment. For individuals seeking "mobile home parks near me" or "long-term RV parks Texas" based on value and reliable service, the issues highlighted by former and current residents should be a primary consideration.
In conclusion, while Whispering Woods RV & MHP in Queen City, TX, may initially present an image of a "quiet and peaceful" community, the available customer reviews paint a concerning picture. Significant issues have been raised regarding the park's management's responsiveness to maintenance requests, as well as highly questionable and potentially unfair water billing practices. The allegations of unexplained high water bills and residents being charged for external leaks are particularly troubling. Potential residents searching for "RV parks near me" or "mobile home parks near me" in the Queen City area should carefully weigh the initial positive comment about the environment against the serious and detailed negative feedback regarding management and utility billing. It is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence, including contacting current residents if possible, before considering Whispering Woods RV & MHP as a place to live. The issues raised suggest a need for significant improvements in management and billing transparency to ensure a positive living experience for all residents.

Whispering Woods RV & MHP Reviews
First off I’ll say I do love it here, quiet, peaceful, and peacefulNow to the part that’s boiling my blood. I have children and have lived here since December of last year. Shortly after moving in the power stopped working to the rear half of the trailer. Took a month to fix or what I thought was fixed until it happened again in June. Notified the manager because I’m afraid of a fire happening while my children are home and I can’t get to them. BIG NEGATIVE THERE! When I seen him in August he stated he keeps forgetting…🧐🧐😤 then last month the hot water heater went out, notified him of that and still nothing yet I’m supposed to pay you for something I can’t entirely use comfortably?! Then to find out I’m not the only resident having issues is crazy to me. I want to live here but at this rate, they need to shut it down or find new management.
Dec 19, 2024 · Jessie PinsonThis is a terrible terrible place to live they keep raising the lot fees they cannot explain the outrageous water bills that are supposed to be submetered so they can't actually prove water bills all of the tenants are moving out because the water bills cannot be explained neither can they prove how much water are you using other people in the Parks have leaks and your responsible to pay for their leaks too. Here is proof of the outrageous water leak outside at the meter that's supposed to be their responsibility if there is a leak as you can see mine was spraying out profusely had a $400 water bill and cannot dispute this with the public utilities commission and West Cass Tracy Hershey and operated under a crook William Kirby.
