Willows Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
For local users seeking "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in the Willows, California area, Willows Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 6155 CA-162, Willows, CA 95988, USA, presents a facility that accommodates both mobile homes and RVs. This introduction aims to provide a detailed and objective overview of the environment, services, and features of this park based on the available customer reviews, offering insights for those considering it as a potential place to stay or live.
Situated on CA-162 in Willows, Glenn County, California, Willows Mobile Home & RV Park is located within a region known for its agricultural surroundings in the northern Sacramento Valley. Willows serves as the county seat of Glenn County and offers basic amenities and services typical of a smaller rural community. The specific environment of the RV park itself, as described by reviewers, presents a mixed picture with significant concerns raised regarding its upkeep and facilities.
Several critical reviews highlight significant shortcomings at Willows Mobile Home & RV Park. A recurring and prominent issue is the state of the bathroom facilities. One reviewer explicitly states, "The one and only bathroom is disgusting. Looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time." This raises serious hygiene concerns for potential short-term RV visitors who might rely on these communal facilities. The lack of cleanliness in a shared bathroom can severely impact the overall experience and comfort of guests.
Adding to the inconvenience related to the bathroom, another reviewer points out that "The bathroom also requires a key to access. This was an issue since we arrived in the late evening and the office wasn't open until 10AM." This policy creates a significant accessibility problem, particularly for late arrivals who may need to use the restroom before the office opens. The combination of an unclean facility and restricted access due to office hours presents a major drawback for temporary visitors.
Despite these negative aspects, one reviewer notes that "Many long term residents live there but we had no issues with them." This suggests that while the park might have issues with its transient facilities and management, the long-term community within the park is reportedly peaceful and does not pose problems for short-term guests.
Further issues are raised regarding the park's amenities and infrastructure. One reviewer mentions that "Also, the WiFi did not work with the provided code/network on the paperwork." In today's connected world, unreliable or non-functional WiFi can be a significant inconvenience for travelers needing to stay connected for work or personal reasons.
A particularly concerning issue highlighted by a reviewer is the exceptionally high electricity bill experienced during a summer stay in an RV. They report an "electric bill was over 400 dollars…. for an RV" for just one month. They speculate that this "seems like a scam," especially when compared to other parks in California with similar heat that resulted in "hundreds less" in electricity costs. Such an exorbitant utility bill raises serious questions about the park's billing practices or the efficiency of its electrical system for RV users.
Adding to the infrastructure concerns, the same reviewer mentions that the "Waterline was also shut off three times in two months…." Frequent water shutoffs can be highly disruptive to residents and visitors, impacting basic hygiene and daily routines. This suggests potential instability or maintenance issues with the park's water supply system.
Finally, a reviewer comments on the overall environment and condition of the park, stating, "Park is super trashy other than the front spots. Wouldn’t recommend, but it’s the only option. Also wouldn’t recommend Willows in general 🤷♂️." This harsh assessment suggests that the park suffers from poor overall maintenance and cleanliness beyond just the bathroom facilities, with only the areas near the entrance appearing presentable. The reviewer's lack of recommendation, coupled with a negative sentiment towards the town of Willows itself, paints a concerning picture.
Considering these reviews, the environment of Willows Mobile Home & RV Park appears to be problematic for short-term visitors, with significant issues related to the cleanliness and accessibility of the bathroom, unreliable WiFi, potentially exorbitant electricity costs, and frequent water shutoffs. While long-term residents reportedly do not cause issues, the overall upkeep and infrastructure of the park seem to be lacking, with one reviewer describing it as "trashy."
Information regarding specific services and features beyond the problematic bathroom and unreliable WiFi is scarce in the provided reviews. As a mobile home and RV park, it likely offers basic utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity) at the individual sites. However, the quality and reliability of these utilities are called into question by the high electricity bill and water shutoff incidents. The presence of laundry facilities or other communal amenities is not mentioned in the reviews.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding the park's condition and management, it is unlikely that there are any positive promotional offers to highlight. Potential visitors are strongly advised to consider the serious concerns raised in the reviews before choosing to stay at Willows Mobile Home & RV Park.
To obtain further information or to address the serious concerns raised by the reviews, interested local users can attempt to contact Willows Mobile Home & RV Park at (530) 456-2539 or +1 530-456-2539. However, given the nature of the feedback, it would be prudent to seek alternative "RV parks near me" in the wider region if possible, based on the experiences shared by previous visitors to this particular facility.
In conclusion, Willows Mobile Home & RV Park in Willows, CA, appears to have significant issues related to cleanliness, amenity access, utility costs, and infrastructure reliability, based on the provided customer reviews. While long-term residents are reportedly not problematic, the overall experience for short-term RV visitors seems to be negative. Local users searching for RV parks in the area should carefully consider these serious concerns and potentially explore alternative options to ensure a more comfortable and reliable stay.

Jul 23, 2017 · JD FitzgeraldOne month in the summer our electric bill was over 400 dollars…. for an RV. That was a couple of years ago. I’m sure it’s worse now. Seems like a scam, as any other park in CA (despite similar heat) has been hundreds less. Waterline was also shut off three times in two months…. Also, it’s absolutely bug infested, but that’s more on Willows in general rather than the RV park.Park is super trashy other than the front spots. Wouldn’t recommend, but it’s the only option. Also wouldn’t recommend Willows in general 🤷♂️.

Jun 08, 2024 · Paul LeakNice quiet family park I lived there for a few years highly recommend friendly staff on site laundry and showers
Jul 18, 2024 · donald salyerThey apparently use and independent electricity company. Electricity is outrageous from $250 to over $300 a month for these little RV’s. They advertise that washer and Dryers are part of your rent. The washer and Dryers haven’t been usable for over a year now. The manager is never in the office during office hours and when you call you don’t even get an answering machine. People shoot guns at night animals are abused. Terrible place to live. Total rip off
