RV Park At Rolling Hills Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Corning, California area, RV Park At Rolling Hills presents a unique option, conveniently located at 2645 Everett Freeman Way. This RV park benefits from its adjacency to the Rolling Hills Casino and an open landscape that includes a golf course, offering a blend of recreational opportunities and a tranquil environment. While some aspects of the experience have received mixed reviews, the park offers several features that may appeal to a variety of RV travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stop.
The environment of RV Park At Rolling Hills is frequently highlighted for its beauty and spaciousness. Situated amidst open land and alongside a golf course, the park provides a sense of openness and natural scenery. One visitor described it as "surrounded by open land & a golf course" and noted the "good separation between sites & beautifully landscaped" grounds. This suggests that the park offers a more spread-out and visually appealing setting compared to some more tightly packed RV parks. The landscaping efforts contribute to a pleasant aesthetic, enhancing the overall experience of staying at the park.
A significant advantage mentioned by a reviewer is the quiet atmosphere of the RV Park At Rolling Hills. Despite its proximity to the casino, one guest noted it was "very quiet except for bird songs." This tranquility can be a major draw for travelers seeking a peaceful night's rest or a relaxing environment away from the noise of more bustling areas. The natural sounds of birds further enhance the serene ambiance of the park, making it a potentially restful stop on your journey.
The check-in process is described as occurring at the travel clubhouse, where guests can pay and choose their specific site. This offers a degree of control over your parking location and allows for direct interaction with the park staff upon arrival. The process appears straightforward, with guests then driving to the RV park itself, which is located a short distance from the clubhouse.
In terms of services and features, the availability of good hookups is specifically mentioned in one review: "Hook ups were good." This is a fundamental requirement for most RV travelers, ensuring reliable access to essential utilities such as electricity, water, and sewage disposal. The presence of "actual privacy hedges in places" is another notable feature, suggesting that some sites offer enhanced privacy and separation from neighboring RVs, which can greatly improve the comfort and enjoyment of your stay.
However, it's important to consider some of the concerns raised in the reviews. One guest felt the park was "over priced for few amenities," specifically mentioning the lack of Wi-Fi and cable TV despite a higher cost. This is a significant consideration for travelers who rely on these services for communication, entertainment, or work. Another reviewer felt that the park was "Very focused on getting you to gamble rather than enjoy your stay," and noted a "poorly made path to walk to casino" and no attempt at a shuttle service. This suggests that the primary focus might be on the casino rather than enhancing the RV park experience itself.
Despite these criticisms, the staff received positive feedback from one guest who stated they were "good people honest about things and worked with us." This indicates that while there may be shortcomings in amenities or infrastructure, the park staff are helpful and accommodating. The same reviewer also mentioned that the staff seemed "overworked and understaffed," which could potentially impact the overall service experience.
A recurring suggestion for improvement is the provision of Wi-Fi. One reviewer explicitly stated, "A simple decent WiFi router would boost to a 4 star." In today's connected world, reliable internet access is often considered a crucial amenity for travelers, and its absence can be a significant drawback for many.
Regarding promotional information, the review mentions a "Good Sam discount" being available, which could offer a cost saving for members of the Good Sam Club. Travelers should inquire about this and any other potential discounts or special offers when booking their stay.
In summary, RV Park At Rolling Hills offers a unique setting with its beautifully landscaped grounds adjacent to a golf course and the Rolling Hills Casino. The park boasts spacious sites with good hookups and the potential for a quiet and private stay. However, potential guests should be aware of reported limitations regarding amenities such as Wi-Fi and cable TV, as well as the perceived focus on the casino. The helpfulness of the staff is a noted positive aspect. For those seeking "RV parks near me" with a scenic environment and basic amenities, and who may be interested in the adjacent casino, RV Park At Rolling Hills presents a viable option. It is recommended to contact the park directly at (530) 528-3586 or +1 530-528-3586 to inquire about current rates, availability, and the full list of amenities to make an informed decision based on your individual needs and preferences.

RV Park At Rolling Hills Reviews
Love this RV park at the Rolling Hills Casino! You check in at the travel clubhouse where you pay & choose your site. Then you drive forward to the Rv park which is surrounded by open land & a golf course. There is good separation between sites & beautifully landscaped. It’s about $50/night with good Sam discount. Very quiet except for bird songs.I don’t recommend the Rock n Brews restaurant at this casino. The beer selection is boring, the food is OK, service is good, but the lightning is TERRIBLE, unless you like multiple harsh spotlights directed at your face. There is no seat in the house where you can escape these hellish spotlights! Bring your own dinner!
Mar 11, 2025 · Julie HolmesStayed here. Over priced for few amenities. Paid more here for no WiFi and no cable. Very focused on getting you to gamble rather than enjoy your stay.Staff were good people honest about things and worked with us. They were overworked and understaffed.A simple decent WiFi router would boost to a 4 star. Hook ups were good. Quiet and had actual privacy hedges in places.Despite clearly trying to get us to go gamble, had poorly made path to walk to casino. Didn’t try shuttle
Dec 29, 2024 · Chris FeyThis was our second visit to Rolling Hills RV Park. Clean well maintained Park with friendly staff. If you are playing Golf, you are less than 3 minutes from RV Park to the Course which is directly behind the main Casino. Little to no road noise in the RV Park. Food and Fuel in site.
Apr 12, 2025 · Tim MuettertiesAlways a good stop. Easy to make reservations and a perfect location for our travels on I-5. Friendly staff, clean and easy pull-through sites. Gas station on premises has good prices.
Feb 17, 2025 · Stephanie SiverlingI stayed at the RV park. Used to be great a few years ago when I first stayed. Place has gone downhill with little or no site maintenance. Current site is sloped over 4" aide to side. Electrical box has damaged 50amp receptacle with totally exposed terminals. Trying to advise "maintenance" of this problem was an exercise in futility. For the cost per night I think I will be seeking out other options. With the site quality and it's decline it's worth half what they're charging.
