Willows Introduce
Are you looking for "RV parks near me" that offer more than just a place to park? Consider Willows, a mobile home park located at 1487 W Horseshoe Bend Dr #101, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. While primarily a mobile home park, Willows presents an appealing option for RVers seeking a clean, quiet, and friendly community environment, particularly those looking for longer-term stays. Recent positive changes under new ownership suggest a park on the rise, making it a potentially attractive choice for discerning RV travelers.
Based on the available customer reviews, Willows is characterized by a "clean neighborhood" and "quiet and friendly residents." These are significant factors for RVers who value peace and a welcoming community atmosphere during their travels or extended stays. The emphasis on cleanliness suggests a well-maintained property, which can contribute significantly to a comfortable and enjoyable living experience, whether in a mobile home or an RV.
A particularly noteworthy aspect of Willows is the recent change in ownership, which appears to be having a positive impact on the park. One reviewer enthusiastically mentions that the "new owners are cleaning up the property and making improvements that make this a much prettier and happier place to live." This active effort to enhance the aesthetic appeal and overall atmosphere of the park is a strong indicator of a management team dedicated to creating a positive living environment for all residents, including RV guests.
The positive changes extend to the management itself, with the new manager being described as "attentive and professional." This suggests that RVers can expect responsive and helpful service during their stay, addressing any concerns or needs promptly and efficiently. Attentive management is crucial for a smooth and stress-free experience in any RV park or mobile home community.
The positive transformation at Willows is also attracting new residents, with the reviewer noting that "new homes with new owners are coming into the park." Furthermore, there's a reported demand for spaces, with "new people want in but hav to wait for a spot to come open." This high demand indicates that Willows is becoming an increasingly desirable place to live, likely due to the improvements and the positive community atmosphere. For RVers considering a longer stay in the Camp Verde area, this popularity suggests a stable and thriving community.
While the reviews primarily focus on the mobile home aspect, the positive attributes highlighted – cleanliness, quiet environment, friendly residents, attentive and professional management, and ongoing improvements – are equally appealing to RV travelers, especially those seeking a more long-term or community-oriented experience compared to typical short-term RV parks. The fact that new residents are eager to move in suggests a well-managed and pleasant environment that RVers could also appreciate.
Given that Willows is a mobile home park undergoing positive revitalization, it's reasonable to infer certain services and features that might be available or are likely being improved. While specific RV-focused amenities aren't detailed in the reviews, typical mobile home parks often provide essential infrastructure that can also benefit RVs, particularly for longer stays:
Potential Services and Features:
- Utility Hook-ups: For RVs staying for extended periods, access to water, sewer, and electricity hook-ups is essential. While not explicitly mentioned, these are standard in most mobile home parks and are likely available at Willows. It would be advisable to confirm the specifics (e.g., amperage of electrical hook-ups) with the management.
- Roadways and Site Access: Mobile home parks typically have established roadways for easy navigation and access to individual sites. This would also benefit RVs entering and maneuvering within the park.
- Waste Disposal: Provisions for waste disposal are standard in such communities. RVers would likely have access to designated areas for disposing of their trash.
- Laundry Facilities: While not directly mentioned as being newly improved, laundry facilities are a common amenity in mobile home parks to serve long-term residents. It's possible that Willows offers these, and they may be part of the ongoing improvements.
- Common Areas: Some mobile home parks offer common areas for residents, such as green spaces or community rooms. If Willows has these, they could potentially be accessible to RV guests as well, fostering a sense of community.
- Security and Quiet Environment: The "quiet neighborhood" aspect suggests a secure and peaceful setting, which is a significant draw for many RVers.
Promotional Information: The provided reviews do not contain specific promotional offers. However, the positive feedback about the new ownership and ongoing improvements can be seen as a form of positive promotion. The fact that people are waiting for spots to open indicates high demand, suggesting that Willows offers a desirable living environment. For RVers interested in staying at Willows, the best course of action would be to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers:
- Phone: (928) 567-4222
- Mobile Phone: +1 928-567-4222
By calling, you can inquire about the availability of RV sites, the types of hook-ups offered, the rates for short-term or long-term stays, and any specific amenities or services available to RV guests. The "attentive and professional" new manager should be able to provide you with all the necessary information to make an informed decision.

Willows Reviews
Clean neighborhood, quiet and friendly residents.
Mar 11, 2025 · MattFinally! New owners are cleaning up the property and making improvements that make this a much prettier and happier place to live for mom. The new manager is attentive and professional. New homes with new owners are coming into the park and I hear that new people want in but have to wait for a spot to come open.
Jul 27, 2018 · candice harperThe Willows is a Wonderful and unique community located in the Verde Valley. A serene setting with open space, mature trees, convenience and more. New Ownership has spent significant money improving the Park over the past 18 months. New streets, upgrades to the landscaping, addressing issues that were ignored by the previous owner, and honoring residents requests for social events and new recreational equipment. Beautiful Clubhouse, pool table, ping pong table, basketball hoop, and Pickle Ball Court. There is a limited number of vacancies, only two!, after the new homes arrive.. and there is a waiting list of buyers for the new homes that will arrive in the fall and early 2019! Are you curious about the negative posts, one is from a disgruntled former employee, and another from a resident that is unhappy about the rent.. it's interesting given his rent is below market.. Life is good in the Willows MHC, stop by and see for yourself! For the purpose of full disclosure I am the owner..
Jul 27, 2018 · Mark IngramI've lived here for three years now. Not particularly happy. $410.00 a month just for the lot is a lot considering they only provide trash pickup and sewer service. Landscaping is covered for the common areas only. I spoke to the owner about the situation (he's from California) and he said it's a beautiful setting. That's all! He will continue to up the rent because it bothers him not at all to make big bucks at the expense of old folks on social security. Maybe it's different in California, but here in rural Arizona, pensions are few and far between.
Jun 11, 2018 · Keys MarshThis mobile home park in the past was a great place to live. In the last month a new company bought it and it has become horrid in less than a month. They do not hold camp verde values and are trying to make this the same as a place you would live in in Tucson. And even made the statement to the current residents that was there goal. This is NOT a big city. The new owners goal is to make money that is all. My recommendation is to avoid this place at all costs until someone else buys this Mobil home park. A company that will hold Camp Verde values, listen and respect the current tenants. Because currently these new owners do not have a clue.
