York Creek RV Park Reviews
I stayed 6 weeks and could not have enjoyed the peace, serenity, and amenities of the York Creek RV Park more!!! Biking through the shaded RV Park roads, the intimacy of the neighborhood, the distance from freeway traffic, the York Creek Road biking trail through heritage oaks, farmland, and woods alongside the York Creek was wonderful. I feel blessed to have met a caring and intelligent and interesting person in the park owner, Jackie. There are many full timers and even a tiny home in the park. Owner lives onsite and the park is well maintained. My health has me moving in with family otherwise I would still be there! Good choice for travelers and full timers alike. I miss it already.
Oct 07, 2024 · Will RitterI have been here for 7 or 8 months. I am so happy with the quiet. Don't feel crowded at all my RV backs up to a cow pasture. Management has been fantastic for me. Loading facilities are nice though times there are problems with the equipment but management response right away. The Aerials used were taken with my drone. You could see how my German Shepherd is trying to make friends with the calf. The picture of the leanto porch, I guess you could call it, has been customized by me. Feels like I'm in the country when I'm 3 minutes from the interstate.
Feb 24, 2023 · Jim OrrFabulous overnight. This was just 2 minutes from I35 but felt like a simple park out in the country. No highway noise or highway exhaust, no lights or activity - just a quiet and peaceful night. The park looks to have two sides. Our side offered gravel sites with a cute covered shed in lieu of a picnic table. (As we seemed to be in the middle of the country we called it our very own cow shed.) Hook up was easy, sites were well spaced, we felt safe, and management was great. Jackie answered our call, was friendly, allowed us to come in a little late, met us when we arrived, and the next day let us check out a bit late so we could have lunch at Clear Springs. They are strict about noise, so it was amazingly peaceful. This was NOT a typical off the interstate campground! TIP: The camp is easy to get to off I35 but go slow as the road is a bit narrow and has a couple of odd turns. We had no trouble with our RV and towed car but I was glad it was daylight and I could easily see. The camp has two entrances and it's easy to miss the first. I would call ahead and get directions for your site as we found it much easier to use the second entrance to reach our site and the first entrance looked narrow. We would definitely stay here again. Where else can you camp and enjoy a night in the country air under your own mini cow shed? Very unique experience!
Feb 24, 2022 · Vicki AThe park is entirely made of caliche so there is always dust in the air which gets inside the rv. They had to shut off the water for multiple days on multiple occasions for plumbing issues in the park which was highly inconvenient. Rent and electric is to be paid in cash. There is also a small book of rules which most are completely ridiculous and they will try to fine you for anything they can. Overall our experience at York creek rv park was very subpar. When we moved they tried to say we couldn’t move without giving a weeks notice in advance which is absolutely ridiculous.
Nov 02, 2024 · Dillon BordelonStayed here for 6 months. The park was great - very quiet and peaceful even though we were right on the road. Be aware they only accept cash, which we only found out when we arrived as well as a $250 cash deposit. Also the web site shows $450 per site but per Jackie (owner/manager) that is only for certain sites. I never found out which ones this price applied to. All in all it's a pretty park and very quiet. Can't say we will be back, the money issue left a bad taste. They can accommodate all size rigs. We have a 33 foot travel trailer and our Verizon was great here.
