Adventure Bound Camping Resorts - Gatlinburg Reviews
My wife and I camped here for our honey moon and got a tent deck site. It was honestly a great experience. The camp staff are a 10/10 absolutely great and helpful people. We fully intend to come back. The last night of our stay we had a power line fall from a storm. The manager moved us right into one of their cabins free of charge and comped the night for us. It wasn’t their fault the storm happened, but we truly appreciate the hospitality. It’s a nice quiet location in the Smokey’s and not a horrible drive from gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Expect to see some bears rustling around, so be bear aware!
Aug 20, 2024 · Justin LeRoy Allan MitchellMy family stayed in cabin 16 at the campground. It was small as expected, but had everything we needed! Kind of like a tiny home. There was a cute loft with more beds and my boys had fun playing up there in their own space. Coffee maker, toaster oven, gas stove, microwave present for cooking needs and full fridge. Full bathroom. Lots of storage for luggage and our belongings to get out of the way. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We were able to go to the front office for more towels/linens when we needed them. There is a nice pool, playground, water slide (so much fun and a nice bonus!!) pond for fishing, basketball court, gaga ball pit, creek to walk along, etc. There was also a cool "Jack Tales" story time over the weekend with a lady telling stories in front of a little cabin.. like a little show to watch.. it was cute and fun for the kids. Very nice location to downtown Gatlinburg.. less than 30 min drive. We had a nice stay with our family and would reccomend!!
Jul 31, 2024 · Mickinzi PrestonThis place was awesome! Found this camp by chance when our normal place was booked. From the beginning it was great! Mary was more than you could ask for, friendly, super nice, she also helped us out immediately when our refrigerator wasn’t working (she went above and beyond)!! The bathrooms were in great shape and clean, especially the ones by the pool/store. My kids loved it and they met the coolest kid ever, Carter!!! Only need one thing, a volleyball net lol.
Jul 07, 2024 · JayVery nice campground I would give 4.5 stars. Most everything was great but our site (161) is close to the highway and the traffic noise detracted from our experience. Next time I'll look for a site on the backside of the camp. My only other complaint is the lights outside of the bathrooms are incredibly bright. I suggest turning down the wattage so campers can enjoy sitting around a campfire without a spotlight in their eyes.
Aug 23, 2024 · Martin ScottIncredible experience. Lightning Bugs / Fireflies During our Mid June Stay. Rented an RV for 5 days originally and ended up adding an extra day. RV came with everything needed for a multi day stay and the general store carried many items that we forgot. The campgrounds do get pretty popular on the weekend and very sparse during the week so if you want peace and quiet, plan your stay during the weekdays. The campgrounds were really clean, everyone was respectful and there were plenty of things for kids to do. The highlight was the creek and would highly recommend finding a site near one of them. The waterslide and pool were fun but mainly for the kids and my son seemed to have more fun in the creek than any of the Gatlinburg attractions.
