Skip A Stone Farm Reviews
This is a HipCamp location. Our campsite was a nice getaway from the busy campgrounds you will normally find. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and getting to know Kim and her farm animals. Our boys especiallly loved the goats and her dogs. Kim was amazing and so very kind, she helped us with local recommendations and was available when we needed her. Make sure to pack some bug spray, when we stayed the little black flies (no seeums) were out. If you are a light sleeper you may wan to pack some earplugs or a sound machine as the dogs will sometimes bark overnight at the wild animals and surrounding dogs and the roosters are known to crow early in the morning.
May 24, 2023 · Joshua SchulistCan't boast enough about our stay at Skip A Stone Farm. We had an excellent time, our children had a blast playing with the farm dogs, running around the farm and seeing and petting the various animals. Kim was great and let the kids help with her baby chick's and goats. Highly recommend for tent camping with great mountain views.
Oct 11, 2023 · Eric SmithWe camped at the GORGEOUS Skip A Stone Farm and Campground. Not only was it SO beautiful, the owner was fantastic with our grandkids and allowed them to “help” with the farm work. It is quite obvious that the campsite owners have a true passion for the Smokey Mountains and sharing this experience with others looking to get back to nature. Highly recommend!
