Americus KOA Journey Reviews
Really enjoyed the stay. Everyone was very friendly. Check in was easy. Campground was very clean and quiet. Recommend this park for anyone wanting to relax or get out on the golf course. The town of Americus was a nice surprise close to the park. Will definitely return for another visit.
Nov 12, 2024 · Randy LangWe camped here the month of February. Really enjoyed daily golfing, acquiring new friends and super friendly staff. The course is a little rough in the winter but becomes a lot friendlier as it greens up. Plenty of water & sand challenges and never had an issue getting on the course. With Americus within a 10 minute drive it was convenient for groceries and supplies.
Mar 03, 2024 · Surviving SimplyJust a big grass lot with some trees. Not much to it. Kids play area is lacking allot. Pretty area just not much to do for kids are family outdoor activities. Town is about 10-15 minutes away.
May 02, 2025 · Ken BWe were only here 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Large, even sites and very quiet. The people running this KOA are very friendly and the campground is quite clean. Golf course and disc golf right there. We will definitely come back!
Feb 14, 2025 · Karen FlahiveQuite. Dark skies. Isolated. Peaceful. Really loved the place. Golf course next door. 18 hole disc course surrounds the camp. Bring your own discs or rent some. All sites are grass and are large. Driveways are gravel.
