The environment of Anglers N Antlers Private Campground is described by a recent visitor as "beautiful." While specific details about the landscape, such as the presence of water bodies (implied by "Anglers"), forests ("woods exploration"), or open fields, are not extensively detailed, the positive adjective suggests a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing natural setting. The mention of a nearby "canyon" visited by one guest hints at the potential for scenic views and opportunities for hiking or exploring the geological features of the region. For local users looking to immerse themselves in nature, the promise of a beautiful campground and nearby natural attractions makes Anglers N Antlers an appealing choice for "camping near me." The fact that a visitor's son had a "blast exploring the woods" indicates that the campground offers natural areas suitable for exploration and outdoor activities, particularly for families with children.
In terms of services and features, Anglers N Antlers seems well-equipped to ensure a comfortable stay for its guests. The campground offers various accommodation options, including "cabins" (as experienced by a visitor evacuating from a hurricane) and presumably RV and tent sites, although these are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews but are common offerings at private campgrounds. The presence of "a nice bathhouse with restrooms and showers" is a significant amenity, providing convenience and hygiene for campers, especially those in tents or RVs without onboard facilities. Additionally, the availability of a "laundry room" is a valuable feature for longer stays, allowing guests to refresh their clothing and maintain comfort throughout their trip.
The positive reviews consistently emphasize the hospitality and helpfulness of the owners. Anglers N Antlers Private Campground Reviews
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two days, we evacuated from Orlando for hurricane milton. The owner was incredibly nice and let us stay in one of the cabins. Beautiful campground, has a nice bathhouse with restrooms and showers, also has a laundry room. Highly recommend!
Oct 10, 2024 · Peyton MillerWe stayed there a while back to visit the canyon & it was great! Very hospitable & nice owners!! Just saving the page to book again soon. Our son had a blast exploring the woods.
Dec 29, 2023 · Ashlee HedricksWonderful place to stay. Rustic and quit. They have a community campfire pit, which I enjoyed visiting with other campers. There was also one by my campsite, but I did not use. The owners are awesome, friendly and very accommodating. The bath house is the best I have ever seen! You actually get at home type bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower and a locking door.
Nov 29, 2020 · Randy LatchamGreat country campground! Traveling from FL , heading home & spent the night here. Quiet & peaceful with all accommodations.
Jun 22, 2022 · LishaStraight forward campground.Pros: 26 minutes to Providence Canyon, around 15 to Florence Marina, big sites with plenty of room for more than one vehicle and trees block most of the road noise. Awesome power hookups with all the services (from 15 all the way up)Cons: sites are dirt and not level, no bathrooms or showers, lots of broken equipment, ATVs, cars, trucks, tools etc. lying around seems like the campground is no longer upkept. Looks very different than the pictures that are provided.
