The presence of water-based activities makes it an attractive destination for families and individuals looking to cool off and enjoy aquatic pursuits.
One of the key features highlighted in the reviews is the contrasting atmosphere depending on the time of the week. The spectacular 4th of July fireworks display and the accompanying live band offer a unique and memorable experience that can attract visitors specifically for this event. The campground's reputation as an "awesome place" where "kids and grown ups like can always have fun" should also be highlighted to attract families. Arrowhead Campground Reviews
This was my first time here this season. I always enjoy watching all the people have fun. I love camping, swimming & fishing here. If you don't like a lot of people and you prefer a peaceful time in the wilderness just go up there during the week Mon through Thursday. If you like a lot of people then I suggest you go on Friday or Saturday. My favorite time to go is 4th of July. They have the best fireworks display. There are A LOT of people there that weekend & they usually have a live band outside right after the fireworks.

Jul 18, 2021 · Mrs. Ashley N. BrewerAWFUL! It was my husband and mine's 7-year anniversary so we went camping like we love to do. We've never been to Arrowhead campground. It sounded interesting. The pictures look nice online. We went there. Got there a little late so we were going to pay in the morning. The primitive camping sites were awful. The bathrooms were disgusting. They were full of gnats and bugs. Everyone was driving by sides and it was like 1:00 in the morning which is no big deal really but super loud, super rude people. It look like a rundown trailer park. They were literally trailers there like people live there. I will never go back. Oh and they had a sign saying where the beach was. We walked down there. There was no beach. I could not find it and you'd think it'd be easy to find a whole beach and there's no, we had no phone signal whatsoever
Jun 20, 2023 · Aja HonIt was ok. Very friendly. Good for kids. It was absolutely obnoxious with all of the flies. And I don't mean a few here and there, it was infested with flies. That is really the only bad thing. Could have had more picnic tables but for a quick weekend it was not bad.
Aug 23, 2020 · Katonya ReedMy phone was stolen by someone within a few hours of being there there. Also, apparently people live here at this campground as well, in RV's and mobile homes, so the vibe was weird. Kind of like locals weren't happy with 'outsiders' being around. Our campsite had posion ivy all by our water spicket, lucky I seen it before the kids started playing near it. We were also placed right along a busy road with cars, side by sides and trucks driving by at all hours. At one point a worker was driving a golf cart around and spraying some kind of fogger as he drove through the camping area, then proceeded to tell me it was his muffler! Lord knows what kind of pesticides he sprayed near everyone! We wont be back!
