Away A Day RV Campground Reviews
Nice campground with gravel sites, picnic tables and firepits. Of course, with the convenient location right off the road, you do hear road noise - but it quiets down at night. We had site #148 - back-in with full hook-ups and 50 amp power.
Feb 10, 2025 · Susan SchwadererI have stayed monthly for over a year and love it here. A very relaxed community with mix of transient long term tenants. This park has many large sites, a new pool and bathroom, Pavillion and playground. This is a newer park and still growing with plans for new amenities and more community activity. Being in beautiful Brown County, there is potential for an amazing experience full of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, zip line, hitting the shops in downtown Nashville, nearby Columbus or Bloomington. Plan to have wireless or satellite internet connection outside of basic connection as the WIFI is not yet optimized for high volume. For basic steaming of TV apps it is fine. Husband and wife owners are very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.
Oct 25, 2024 · James covyeowIt’s been a great summer and looking forward to fall. This is a very clean campground. Great pool! Owners are close and involved.
Sep 10, 2023 · Dave halickiWe stayed for a long weekend here and really enjoyed it. This campground had a lot more seasonal/permanent campers but everyone was really nice and helpful when asking around for suggestions to eat and ride the Harley’s too. We never actually met the owners or were able to go into the office as there was always a sign on the door they were out but did the self check in and just did our thing for the extent of our stay. You could hear a bit of the road noise so maybe in the busier months you might hear more of it especially with the bikes but overall we would definitely stay here again!
