Located at 970 US-302, this campground presents a rustic environment characterized by abundant trees and a notably quiet atmosphere, making it an appealing option for those looking to escape the noise and crowds. While it caters well to RV and trailer campers, Beech Hill Campground also offers cabin rentals, though it's important for prospective cabin users to be aware of some specific feedback regarding those accommodations.
The environment of Beech Hill Campground is consistently described as a "beautiful rustic area with tons of trees." This suggests a setting that is deeply immersed in nature, providing shade, privacy, and a sense of being surrounded by the natural beauty of the White Mountains. The quiet atmosphere is a significant draw, indicating a peaceful environment where campers can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature without excessive noise or disruption. The campground's layout is also praised for not being "packed in like sardines," suggesting spacious campsites that offer a greater sense of privacy and personal space compared to more crowded campgrounds. This contributes to the overall feeling of tranquility and allows campers to truly unwind in their natural surroundings.
Beech Hill Campground offers a range of services and facilities to enhance the camping experience. Notably, the shower stalls and bathrooms are highlighted as being "extremely clean," which is a significant positive aspect for any campground and contributes greatly to the comfort and satisfaction of guests. This suggests that while some staff interactions may be positive, it's something to be aware of.
The features of Beech Hill Campground are diverse, catering to different camping preferences. The availability of campsites suitable for trailers and RVs appears to be a strong point, with one reviewer suggesting it would be a "good place to stay" for those with their own trailers or RVs. This implies that the campground likely offers appropriate hookups and space for such vehicles. In addition to RV and trailer sites, Beech Hill Campground also provides cabin rentals. However, it's crucial to note a specific review regarding cabin #2, which mentions "awful" beds consisting of a thin plastic mattress on plywood and a less-than-ideal bathroom. This feedback suggests that the quality of the cabins may vary, and prospective cabin renters should inquire specifically about the accommodations before booking. The presence of an indoor pool adds a significant recreational feature, allowing for swimming and enjoyment regardless of the weather. The clean shower stalls and bathrooms, along with the well-maintained laundry area, contribute to a comfortable and convenient stay. The quiet and spacious layout of the campground, set within a beautiful rustic area with abundant trees, is a key feature that appeals to those seeking a peaceful natural environment.

Beech Hill Campground Reviews
The campground was nice. Lady staff not very friendly. The guy very friendly and helpful. As for the cabin #2 the beds absolutely awful. A plastic mattress that was only 4 inches thick on a piece of plywood. Bathroom not the best.I think if you had your on trailer or RV it would be a good place to stay.
Sep 22, 2024 · janice zavorskasShower stalls and bathrooms extremely clean for a campground. It's super quiet, not packed in like sardines. Beautiful rustic area with tons of trees. The indoor pool and laundry areas were very nicely kept as well. Highly recommend!
Jul 02, 2024 · Julie BlyThis campground is so perfect. Each site is very large and most are private with lots of nature surrounding you. Set right in the middle of 2 mountain in the white mountain forest. They just put in a beautiful playground and have an indoor pool with a game room near by. It is 32 miles from storyland and 11 miles from Santa’s village. It is down the street from the kangamagis Highway and Mt. Washington. The price is what we expect to pay for camping not the crazy prices some places charge And it brings you back to nature.
Aug 02, 2024 · Trisha McCluskeyBeech Hill Campground in Twin Mountain NH is a great Campground if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed camping experience. There are not a lot of frills here but they do have an indoor pool and a small playground.Their camp store is stocked with the camping basics and not overly priced. The sites are well-spaced apart and have lots of trees. The roads are tight with only enough room for one vehicle at a time so it's best if everyone moved using one-way traffic rules, however, not everyone does. The prices are very reasonable and close to many great hiking trails. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the mountain scenery, even if it was raining during part of the weekend. We will be back there again.
Aug 31, 2023 · Brian LumbWonderful campground! The RV sites are large and well spaced out. They are surrounded by trees, and are hard packed dirt (at least ours is, site 18). It's quiet even though it's just a short distance off the highway. It's very dark at night, too. The sites are very well maintained. The gated entrance keeps the riff raff out. Very reasonably priced, especially for peak foliage season.
