Broad River Campground

120 Broad River Campground Rd, Mooresboro, NC 28114, USA

4.0
This was our first camping trip to Broad River. We stayed in phase 1 in a premium site, which was level and spacious. It's obvious that sites are well maintained and cleaned. The bathhouses were spotless with excellent water pressure. This is a great spot for low-key camping. Our daughter enjoyed all of the kid-friendly amenities. The gem-mining was really fun and the camp-host is amazing with kids. He was gracious to come out and show her how to do the gem mining and he had such an amazing personality. We really enjoyed talking with him. The pool area is really nice! The hiking trails make for a nice stroll. We ventured down to Willis Creek and onward to the river. Phase 2 was really nice as well. We would probably try that side out next time. The only downside in Phase 1, you definitely hear a lot more road noise, so that may bother some but we were fine. We still very much enjoyed camping here and look forward to coming back! - Kellie Homovich
