Broad River Campground Reviews
This was our first camping trip to Broad River. We stayed in phase 1 in a premium site, which was level and spacious. It's obvious that sites are well maintained and cleaned. The bathhouses were spotless with excellent water pressure. This is a great spot for low-key camping. Our daughter enjoyed all of the kid-friendly amenities. The gem-mining was really fun and the camp-host is amazing with kids. He was gracious to come out and show her how to do the gem mining and he had such an amazing personality. We really enjoyed talking with him. The pool area is really nice! The hiking trails make for a nice stroll. We ventured down to Willis Creek and onward to the river. Phase 2 was really nice as well. We would probably try that side out next time. The only downside in Phase 1, you definitely hear a lot more road noise, so that may bother some but we were fine. We still very much enjoyed camping here and look forward to coming back!
Apr 28, 2025 · Kellie HomovichSuch a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, staff is friendly, and there is plenty to do. We stayed in a cabin, which was well maintained and a very comfortable place to stay. The only co.plaint we have is having to rent the hot tub as an extra fee. It is right outside of the cabin and seems like it could just be included in your cabin fee. Other than that we were super happy and will be returning in the future!
Apr 23, 2025 · Brandon OwensWe absolutely had a blast here. We also were very happy they had a Sunday morning service. Loved the hikes on the premises. The kids loved that the pool was open. The Broad River Greenway is very near. Bathhouses were very clean. Staff were great! Great place! We will be coming back!!
Apr 20, 2025 · Angel McKinneyUpon check-in, the office personnel was very welcoming and helpful. Restrooms are very clean and well-kept. The sites are very attractive. If you come in the warmer months (we came in late April), there are no trees at or around sites. So there's no shade at all. We were close to the road (Hwy 150) and could hear some traffic, but it wasn't disturbing. Every now and then, a car blasting a loud base system would drive by, but still wasn't bad at all. We would definitely come back.
May 01, 2025 · Geema ForeverGreat little came ground. The spaces are super clean, maintenance people are fantastic. Showers and bath houses are awesome. Great quite little campground to just hangout by a fire and chill. We camped in our camper and we will be back. The pool and chill area are awesome. The playground is small but great for little ones. The wind gets strong on the hills but seems to be normal for the area. We definitely will be back! Close to great places to eat and just an overall good location.
