Iron City Campground Reviews
We found this lovely little gem when looking for an overnight stop while passing through the area. It is conveniently located just a few miles off of the interstate and the online reservation process was easy and seamless. We were pleasantly surprised by the park and it's enemies. Although the sites don't offer any privacy, they are well planned and maintained. We were able to take advantage of a pull through site and not unhook our travel trailer for our stop. The bathroom facilities, playgrounds, dog park, pool area, pavilion, and pond were all beautiful. We absolutely recommend this park for a quick stop or your next vacation!
Apr 01, 2025 · T LutzThere are two areas of this park. I stayed at the uphill part, which is beautiful and wooded. The downhill area is perfectly nice, but more gravel and no trees. Our site was pull through and fairly level. We didn't unhook. Full hookups and cable. Turn to get into site was tight. There are also many back in sites. We had a picnic table. The campground has a pool, a pavilion with picnic tables, a playground and a dog park. Everything was well maintained. The pool also had a handicap chair
Apr 22, 2025 · JoAnne OwensVery nice place, off the expressway a few miles, so no high traffic noise. 18 right in front, but not super busy. Large lots, lots of trees, a small seasonal pool, nice large dog park, very nice laundry building, and bathrooms/showers. Run efficiently with a store at the office. I would stay here longer than a week if we had the time. Maybe next fall.
May 01, 2025 · Shelley HicksWe were near the pond it was very nice. I really enjoyed the walks with my dogs. Loved the trees and did our best to keep our area cleaned. Lisa and family were wonderful we would have stayed longer if we could of. Lisa Narrow
Feb 17, 2025 · Lisa LowesWe stayed here for two months due to work. Lisa is so accommodating and helpful! Nice clean restrooms and laundry facility. It's great that they have propane on-site. Easy check-in and easy on-line payment system. We are coming back in February for two more months.
