Some campsites are better than others if your planing on bringing a camper so definitely look at the site picture before booking to make sure it'll work for your equipment. The bathhouse is clean, with plenty of warm water. It has a playground as well.Overall it's a nice place to camp and enjoy nature and the fresh air
Feb 18, 2025 · Allie JulianWe went to Kings Mountain State Park for a picnic with the dogs on a Fall day. There is a campground there. I've stayed at the campground several times in the past. It's beautiful there. There is a playground for the kids. The restrooms are clean and stocked with toilet tissue. Lots of picnic tables in different settings.
Nov 14, 2023 · Alice H.We just camped here for the first time recently and we had a great time.
Apr 08, 2025 · Robert HeussyThe sites are pretty small and could use some updating. The bathrooms are always warm, clean and stocked. Overall a nice stay.
Apr 26, 2024 · Brad StanleyThis campground is in need of some serious improvements. The campground was built in a hilly area and the construction was subpar. Many sites need to be graded since they slope either from left to right or from front to back. And some sites listed as RV sites are not suited for an RV because they are not large enough. Visiting there, you get the impression that they lack either funding, leadership, or both. Kings Mountain State Park campground need attention!
