Bull Run Campground Introduce
For local users searching for 'camping near me' in the Northern Virginia region, Bull Run Campground, located at 7700 Bull Run Dr, Centreville, VA 20121, USA, presents an option for both RV and tent campers. Situated in Centreville, the campground likely benefits from the natural environment of the surrounding area, which in Northern Virginia often includes wooded areas and proximity to historical sites and parks. While the specific scenic details of the campground itself are not extensively described in the provided reviews, the mention of "trees" suggests a potentially shaded environment. The campground's location may offer a balance between a natural retreat and accessibility to the amenities and attractions of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Based on the limited information available from customer reviews, the services at Bull Run Campground appear to cater primarily to RV campers, with mentions of "RV spots" that are "mostly pull-through and roomy." This suggests ease of access for larger vehicles. The affordability of the campground was also noted as a positive aspect by one reviewer. However, one visitor experienced a charge for entering the park to visit family staying at the campground, indicating a potential fee for day visitors. It is unclear from the reviews whether standard campground amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or a camp store are available. For a comprehensive list of services, including any fees for visitors or specific amenities offered, it is recommended to contact Bull Run Campground directly at (703) 631-0550 or +1 703-631-0550.
The features of Bull Run Campground seem to include spacious, mostly pull-through RV sites, which is a significant convenience for RV travelers. The presence of an "abundance of trees" is noted as a feature that might impact satellite internet connectivity, suggesting a well-established and potentially shady environment. However, one reviewer mentioned that their site was "not entirely flat," which is a factor RVers often consider for leveling their vehicles. The campground also appears to have a policy regarding the number of vehicles per campsite, with one visitor encountering enforcement of a "2 car per campsite maximum," even when the campground was not crowded. This suggests that while the campground may offer space, specific rules regarding vehicle parking are in place. Further information about site sizes, hookups available (electrical, water, sewer), the availability of fire pits or picnic tables, and any recreational facilities (such as playgrounds or trails) is not provided in the reviews. Prospective campers may need to inquire directly about these features.
Promotional information for Bull Run Campground is not included in the provided customer reviews. To learn about any potential discounts, seasonal rates, or special offers, it would be best to contact the campground directly via phone or their website if available. Campgrounds sometimes offer lower rates during off-peak seasons, discounts for longer stays, or special packages for families or groups. Inquiring about such promotions could help local users find affordable 'camping near me' options at Bull Run Campground.
The customer reviews offer some insights that local users searching for 'camping near me' should consider. The affordability of the RV spots is a potential advantage for budget-conscious travelers. The roomy and mostly pull-through sites are convenient for RVs. However, the experience of a visitor being charged to enter the park and the strict enforcement of the vehicle policy, even when the campground appeared uncrowded, are points to be aware of, especially for those planning to have visitors. The abundance of trees, while potentially providing shade and a pleasant environment, might be a drawback for those relying on satellite internet for remote work. The fact that some sites may not be entirely flat is also a practical consideration for RV setup. It is important for prospective campers to weigh these points along with their individual needs and preferences when considering Bull Run Campground.
In conclusion, Bull Run Campground in Centreville, VA, offers an affordable option for RV camping near the Washington D.C. area, with mostly pull-through and roomy sites. The presence of many trees suggests a potentially shaded environment, although it might affect satellite internet reception. Visitors should be aware of potential entry fees and the strict enforcement of the two-vehicle policy per campsite. For detailed information regarding services, specific site features, and any current promotions, local users searching for 'camping near me' should contact Bull Run Campground directly. The provided reviews offer a glimpse into some aspects of the campground, but direct communication will provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date information for planning a camping trip.

Bull Run Campground Reviews
Came to see my In-Laws who are registered at a campsite with their camper. The park is ok but the park charged me and my parents $8 per car to enter the park when I'm just visiting the campground for a couple hours. Also was chased down by park authority within 2 minutes of parking at the campsite since we violated the 2 car policy at the campground with 3 vehicles when there isn't anyone around in the campground. I applaud the parks attendant's adherence to policy but this is over the top. I'd recommend not charging cars for visiting family at a campsite that aren't using the parks facilities. Also, I'd suggest not enforcing a 2 car per campsite maximum when no one is around.
Apr 21, 2025 · Mike HildenTook the RV for a week, and really enjoyed this spot. It’s affordable, and the RV spots are mostly pull-through and roomy. Ours was not entirely flat, and the abundance of trees isn’t very good for Starlink if you work remotely.
Apr 20, 2025 · Dallas PowellNice park and rv campground. Our site had no sewer hookup, but there was a really nice dump station. Site was large. Easy in, easy out. We will be back.
Apr 18, 2025 · Brad KaufmanThis was the first time that we came to this campground. We were very happy with the way the sites were located. They were very roomy and also had privacy. This is relatively close to our home, but we did this so we could be more convenient to our nephews games. It was ideal. We take our three dogs and it was convenient to come back and let them out and give them good walks.
Sep 22, 2024 · Mike P PottsHad a short weekend getaway for a concert. Nice campground close to Manassas. Site was a pull thru and there was plenty of room for spreading out and parking your vehicle. The water connection for the hose was way different than any other I've used.
