Reachable by phone at (845) 794-6200 or mobile +1 845-794-6200, this camp has received varied feedback from local residents. While one review mentions a "beautiful camp" and "great staff" that "the kids love," other local perspectives raise concerns regarding noise levels, traffic, and consideration for neighboring properties. It is important for local users to consider these differing viewpoints when evaluating Camp Adas Bnos Vien for their potential camping needs or recommendations.
Based on the available local reviews, the environment surrounding Camp Adas Bnos Vien appears to be located within a "beautiful woods." This suggests a potentially scenic and natural setting that could be appealing for those seeking an outdoor experience close to Monticello. However, one local resident expressed concern that litter from the camp was affecting the appearance of these "beautiful woods," indicating a potential issue with the upkeep of the property's surroundings. Another significant environmental consideration raised by a local reviewer is the noise emanating from the camp. Described as "loud," "inconsiderate," and "obnoxious," the noise is reported to occur at "all hours of the day" and sometimes extending late into the night (until 4 am). This could significantly impact the peacefulness of the local environment for nearby residents and potentially for campers seeking a tranquil retreat. The mention of a "massive new building" suggests ongoing development at the camp, which may be contributing to the increased noise levels. Additionally, a local reviewer mentioned a fire being started to burn down previous camp structures, raising safety concerns for the surrounding environment and community. For local users prioritizing a quiet and environmentally considerate camping experience, these concerns raised by nearby residents should be carefully considered.
Information regarding the specific services offered to campers at Camp Adas Bnos Vien is limited in the provided reviews, which primarily focus on the camp's impact on the local community. One positive aspect mentioned is "great staff," which suggests that those directly interacting with the camp may find the personnel helpful. However, the reviews do not detail the amenities or services available to campers, such as the types of campsites (e.g., tent, RV), access to water, restroom facilities, fire pits, picnic tables, or other common campground provisions. The negative reviews highlight issues that could indirectly affect the camping experience, such as noise disturbances and potential litter. The mention of an "obnoxious PA system" suggests that organized activities or announcements within the camp might contribute to the noise levels experienced by the surrounding community. For local users considering camping at Camp Adas Bnos Vien, it would be essential to seek further information about the specific services and amenities offered to campers directly from the camp management to ensure it meets their needs and expectations. The contrasting feedback regarding staff friendliness versus the overall impact on the local environment presents a complex picture for potential visitors.
The features of Camp Adas Bnos Vien that can be gleaned from the local reviews are somewhat mixed. The presence of a "massive new building" indicates ongoing development and a potentially expanding capacity or range of facilities at the camp. The "huge" noise levels, including kids screaming and the use of a PA system, are a significant feature impacting the local environment, and potential campers who are sensitive to noise should take this into account. The mention of "bus races down the streets to get to the camp" suggests that transportation to and from the site might be frequent and potentially disruptive to local traffic and safety. The alleged parking of camp-related vehicles on other people's property indicates a lack of consideration for property boundaries, which could be a concern for local residents and potentially reflect on the camp's overall management. On a more positive note, the camp is described as "beautiful," suggesting that the physical setting itself has inherent appeal. However, the reported litter outside the property detracts from this beauty. For local users considering Camp Adas Bnos Vien, the potential beauty of the location might be offset by concerns about noise, traffic, and the camp's interaction with the surrounding community.
Promotional information for Camp Adas Bnos Vien is not included in the provided reviews, which primarily focus on the camp's impact on the local community. As such, it is not possible to objectively describe any special offers, discounts for local residents, or seasonal promotions that might be available. In conclusion, Camp Adas Bnos Vien in Monticello, NY, is located in a potentially "beautiful woods" and has received a positive mention regarding its staff and appeal to children. However, it is also the subject of significant concerns from local residents regarding noise levels at all hours, traffic from buses, litter outside the property, and inconsiderate behavior such as parking on private land. The ongoing development with a "massive new building" may be contributing to these issues. Information regarding specific services and amenities for campers is limited in the provided reviews. Camp Adas Bnos Vien Reviews
Update: as a LOCAL, this place still continues to be inconsiderate! They created a fire to burn down there previous camp which is super dangerous for everyone around them. They built a massive new building, and now they're 10xs louder at random days and times! They have an obnoxious PA system, you hears kids screaming and stopping all night long (seriously, sometimes till 4am!), they drive super fast down the local roads, and they even have the audacity to PARK ON OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTY! We had to tell a gentleman to remove his car from our neighbors' lot! This place needs some regulations, this is nor fair to the people that live in the area!Loud, inconsiderate, and obnoxious camp, no consideration for the people that LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO IT. Loud at all hours of the day! Bus races down the streets to get to the camp, making it hazardous for locals. Litter all over the outside of the property, makes the beautiful woods its located in look like a mess...
