Jul 07, 2018 · Jeffrey DownsGreat camp and it's getting better. They have a kitchen crew for better meals now. They also started an ATV program. Camp is improving.
Aug 02, 2018 · Jeff DownsI love the values of Boy Scouting. They are alive and well. Fleischmann is a beautiful camp with fun, well run, safe programs
Jul 06, 2018 · Laura HarperA wonderful camp for the cub scouts. Very friendly staff and volunteers. The staff were impartial at breakfast to our group because we went last at dinner the night before and it was gracious to us to be near the front of the line. Always alot of walking around camp so don't forget anything from your campsite if you don't want to go back and forth like we did all weekend. Thanks you for being a cub and boy scouts camp. Love my weekend there.
Jul 08, 2021 · Aylene Roseme and my troop went to this camp sometime around 2011 or 2012, the environment was dusty and seldom provided any form of comfort, the worst part about the camp were the staff who were not just unneccesarily rude (take for instance the one time the "grown-up" cashier at the small shop remarked at me spending my own money there disregarding her age and still working at a place like that) but very abusive as i've seen one of the staff punch and knock the air a scout from my troop infront of everyone after he playfully threw a piece of paper at his face, which would be annoying but that was utterly abusive and unprofesional. I was 12 or 13 at the time and had I known better i would have reported every single one of those POS but that was almost a decade ago and I can only hope the staff at this horrible place have changed, this camp ruined boy scouts for me as a whole and contributed on my decision to quit not long after. I would not recommend anyone nore any troop to choose Fleischmann as a summer camp, there are so many better and nicer camps out there not just staffwise but environment wise, this place is bottom of the barrel, nice lake tho.
