One recurring point in the reviews, however, pertains to the owner, Marv. One reviewer humorously noted that the owner "could be a bit more 'customer friendly' ... lol ... he can be a bit 'gruff'," advising future guests to "take a deep breath and get through it" during check-in, as interaction might be minimal afterward. Interestingly, another reviewer had a completely different experience, stating that they and their wife were treated great by Marv. This reviewer recounted instances where Marv called on check-in day to provide helpful detour information and alerted them to an approaching storm, allowing them to protect their camper awning. This suggests that experiences with the owner can vary, and while some might find him less outwardly friendly, others have found him to be helpful and considerate.
A practical piece of information from one of the reviews is that the campground tends to be busy on weekends, described as "crazy and fun," but becomes quiet and relaxing during the week, with fewer campers. This could be useful for local users planning their trips based on their preference for a lively or more serene atmosphere. The only suggestion for improvement mentioned was the addition of Wi-Fi to the campground, indicating that while the facilities are appreciated, internet access is one amenity that some guests would value.

Camp NCN North Reviews
I like the place overall. Its clean and well managed. The owner could be a bit more 'customer friendly'...lol...he can be a bit 'gruff'. That said, once you check in you basically won't need to interact with him so just take a deep breath and get through it. I tent camp in a primitive site. the showers and bathroom are not too far to walk to, the roads are paved and in good shape (for anyone hauling trailer/camper/RV). Friendly crowd. Bar area, play area, etc...overall a pretty good place and recommend you give it a try.
Jun 18, 2024 · J HBeautiful Clean Campground! Everybody was friendly and welcoming! A lot of reviews say negative things about Marv (the owner) but my wife and were treated great by him. He called us on check-in day to make sure we were on our way and let us know of a detour that we were unaware of saving us time and frustration. He also told us of a coming storm while we were there so we could retract our camper awning before the storm claimed it. Party Centeral was fun with a bar and adult play rooms. We stayed Friday to Tuesday and the Campground was busy until Sunday evening then it was just us and 1 cabin the rest of our stay, so it's crazy and fun on weekends and quiet and relaxing during the week. The only thing I would change would be adding wifi to the Campground. We will definitely be returning.
Jul 17, 2024 · 2twisted rgVery exclusive to 45+ old Overweight people. Anyone 35ish single male is not welcome as the owner just wants women thier he can try it with.. You will be assaulted by the owner an physically thrown off the property for just riding a bike up to check in at the front 10am. I arrived late an found camp an was checking in at 10am. Owner in a cart ran me over as I was handing him my ID an Cash. TRESPASSING. This is an old dump an the owner hates his life. Never deserved a Wife an he's bitter. Read the reviews an find somewhere else. This once was 10 years ago an is not anymore. NO SMOKING!!!!!! DUDE LIVES IN HIS OWN WORLD.

The grounds were very clean as are the restrooms and showers. We keeping hearing that Marv is tough to get along with, but we found him to be a very nice guy and very accommodating. We can't wait to go back!!Rick and Tina
