Cave Country RV Campground Reviews
We stayed 6 nights at this great RV Park. The sites are very level and there is more than the usual space between them. Also nice patches of grass between them as well. Laundry room was small but worked just fine - 2 washers and 2 dryers. Pool wasn't open but looked nice. There are pickle ball courts and a dog park as well. The place is very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to get to Mammoth National Park via a very scenic drive. Town has limited offerings since it is pretty small. We enjoyed The Dive the local watering hole. Locals were welcoming and fun to talk to. Also highly recommend the pizza place right across the street if you're looking for a lunch or dinner. Walmart is down the road in Glasgow - a straight shot of abut 12 miles directly on the highway. We'd definitely stay here again.
Apr 29, 2025 · Rosanna BoultonVERY nice campground. We stayed two weeks at the end of March and the beginning of April. We enjoyed our stay, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us great suggestions about attractions in the area. Dog friendly. We took our dog to the campground dog park every day. He had fun. The grounds were clean and nice. The bathrooms were pristine.
Apr 29, 2025 · Clark KrazitSmall, quiet campground conveniently located to the expressway. We were able to quickly get to Mammoth Cave, Bowling Green, and Horse Cave during our stay. The campground isn't huge (around 40 sites), but well laid out with nice facilities. We took advantage of the game room every day we stayed there. Bathhouse was very nice- clean, with spacious showers. It's a small thing, but I really enjoyed the music piped into the bathhouse. Everyone that we encountered was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!
Apr 09, 2025 · Dana NiedowiczFriendly staff upon assigns site upon arrival unless you pay a site reservation fee, which I didnt do. We were assigned a site adjacent to the pool that had spacious gravel sites that were spacious and level with no campground surprises! I would definitely recommend this campground on a quiet dead end street close to restaurants and Mammoth Cave tours. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Apr 22, 2025 · Ed DonFrancescoWe had a great stay at Cave Country RV Campground! The location is super convenient — close to local attractions and easy to access. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and our overall experience very pleasant. The only downside was the noise from Highway 90 and the nearby railroad tracks. It can be a bit loud at times, but running the AC helped drown it out and made it manageable. Overall, a clean, well-kept campground with great service!
