Cobblerest Campground Introduce
Are you searching for exceptional "camping near me" in the scenic landscapes of Utah? Look no further than Cobblerest Campground, nestled at FR096, UT-150, Kamas, UT 84036, USA. This campground has garnered positive reviews from visitors who have experienced its inviting atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and convenient location near various outdoor activities.
One of the most frequently praised aspects of Cobblerest Campground is its remarkable environment and the dedication of its host. According to a recent visitor, the campground is "absolutely amazing," with everything appearing "clean and well kept." This attention to detail in maintaining the grounds contributes significantly to a pleasant and comfortable camping experience for all guests. The cleanliness and upkeep suggest a commitment to providing a high-quality outdoor stay.
The host, Todd, receives exceptional accolades for his hospitality. Described as "absolutely an amazing and gracious host," Todd is noted for being "super friendly and super informative about the surroundings." His proactive approach to guest satisfaction is evident in the review, mentioning that he personally checked in with campers after they settled in to ensure they had everything they needed. This level of personalized attention can greatly enhance a camping trip, providing valuable local insights and a sense of being well cared for.
Cobblerest Campground boasts spacious campsites, capable of accommodating even larger tents. One reviewer mentioned comfortably fitting a 10-person tent in site 9. This spaciousness ensures that campers have ample room to set up their gear, move around comfortably, and enjoy their outdoor living space without feeling cramped. The availability of large campsites makes Cobblerest an excellent choice for families or groups camping together.
A significant highlight of several campsites is their proximity to the river. The reviewer who stayed at site 9 noted that it was "right next to the river which is really awesome to hear at the middle of the night." The soothing sounds of the nearby river can create a tranquil and immersive natural experience, adding to the overall appeal of camping at Cobblerest. Waking up to the gentle murmur of flowing water can be a deeply relaxing and enjoyable aspect of a camping getaway.
For those seeking adventure beyond the campsite, Cobblerest Campground's location is also advantageous. It is described as "not too far from any other adventures and hikes," making it a convenient basecamp for exploring the surrounding natural beauty and engaging in outdoor activities. The proximity to hiking trails and other attractions allows campers to easily venture out and discover the wonders of the Kamas region.
Another significant benefit of Cobblerest Campground is its affordability. The reviewer explicitly mentioned "super cheap fees as well weather your camping overnight or just going for a quick lunch." This makes it an accessible option for a wide range of campers, from those planning extended stays to individuals simply looking for a pleasant spot for a daytime break in nature. The reasonable fees enhance the value proposition of this campground.
While the majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive, one reviewer offered a more balanced perspective, describing it as a "decent campground" located "only an hour away from the valley" and "close to the river, which is nice." This confirms the campground's accessibility from nearby areas and its desirable riverfront location. However, this reviewer also noted a potential drawback: "Since the campground located so close to the road, there is constant traffic noise." This is an important consideration for light sleepers or those particularly sensitive to noise. While the natural beauty and other amenities are appealing, the proximity to the road might impact the tranquility of the experience for some campers.
Considering both the highly positive and the more moderate review, Cobblerest Campground offers a compelling option for those searching for "camping near me" in the Kamas, UT area. It provides a well-maintained environment with spacious, potentially riverfront campsites and is hosted by a friendly and informative individual. The affordability of the fees adds to its appeal, especially for budget-conscious travelers. While the potential for traffic noise due to its roadside location is a factor to consider, the overall experience seems to be overwhelmingly positive for many visitors, who appreciate its cleanliness, the host's attentiveness, and its convenient access to outdoor adventures.
For local users seeking a memorable camping experience, Cobblerest Campground presents a fantastic opportunity to immerse themselves in nature without breaking the bank. Whether you are planning an overnight trip to enjoy the sounds of the river, setting up a basecamp for exploring nearby hikes, or simply looking for an affordable spot to enjoy a meal outdoors, Cobblerest Campground appears to be a welcoming and well-regarded destination.

Cobblerest Campground Reviews
Absolutely amazing campground. Everything seems to be clean and well kept. Todd was absolutely an amazing and gracious host super friendly and super informative about the surroundings. He even stopped by and made sure that we had everything we needed after we got settled. We walked around and checked out all of the campsites all of them seem to be very spacious and have enough room for even bigger tents we had a 10-person tent in site 9. It's right next to the river which is really awesome to hear at the middle of the night. Not too far from any other adventures and hikes. Definitely would recommend and would come back.Oh also super cheap fees as well weather your camping overnight or just going for a quick lunch.

Aug 29, 2024 · Max S.Love it here. I will definitely be back! It was cheap and super close too tons of trail heads and just in case you forgot something your only about 25 minutes outside of Kamas so you can get most replacement necessities.
Aug 18, 2024 · Vincent WhiteCamped here earlier this summer. I think the camp hosts Paul and Penney said the campground had just opened. It was a beautiful spot with the river right outside our campsite. The kids lived throwing all the rocks and sticks into the river. We certainly plan to head back.
Sep 11, 2021 · Justin PThis camp ground was awesome! Woodsy and right next to the river, fire pits were great with places to cook food on them. Bathrooms were well kept. Was nice to have a dumpster on site so we didn’t have to haul trash. Todd, the campsite manager, was extremely kind and accommodating. He helped make our stay easy! We look forward to coming back soon.
