You can contact them at (785) 842-8562 or their mobile number +1 785-842-8562 for inquiries and reservations.
Based on the available customer reviews, Coneflower Campground presents several notable features. One reviewer highlighted the "plenty of spots" available, indicating a campground with ample capacity to accommodate visitors. This is a significant advantage, especially during peak camping seasons, as it increases the likelihood of finding a suitable campsite. The reviewer also noted the variety of campsite types, ranging "from primitive to full hookups," catering to a broad spectrum of camping styles and equipment. This versatility makes Coneflower Campground an attractive option for different types of campers within the "camping near me" category.
For RV owners, the availability of "full hookups" is a crucial amenity, providing connections for electricity, water, and sewer. The reviewer specifically mentioned a "30 amp pull thru site" that worked well for their needs, suggesting that Coneflower Campground offers convenient options for RVs, including pull-through sites that simplify parking and departure. However, it's worth noting that this reviewer also pointed out that "the weeds were a little tall" at their site and that it "could have been mowed." This suggests that while the facilities are adequate, there might be room for improvement in terms of grounds maintenance in certain areas.
Despite the minor issue with the weeds, the same reviewer, who stayed for a week, expressed enjoyment of the "trails and the access to bike trails." This indicates that Coneflower Campground is situated in an area that offers opportunities for outdoor recreation beyond just camping. The presence of both hiking trails and bike trails is a significant draw for active individuals and families looking to explore the local environment. Easy access to these trails enhances the overall camping experience, providing opportunities for exercise, nature observation, and enjoyment of the outdoors.
The reviewer also mentioned that setting up camp was "easy" and that "dumping was also easy," referring to the process of emptying RV waste tanks. These practical aspects contribute to a more convenient and stress-free camping experience, particularly for RV travelers. The ease of setup and waste disposal can be important factors for those looking for a hassle-free "camping near me" option.
Another reviewer shared a brief but positive experience, stating, "I thought it was just fine." They arrived after hours and were able to pay for their spot, which cost approximately "$12 total." This suggests that Coneflower Campground may offer an affordable option for overnight stays. The reviewer also mentioned backing into a "gravel parking spot with a fire pit," indicating the presence of designated camping areas with fire pits, a common and desirable amenity for many campers. They described the environment as "calm and quiet" with "no issues at all," highlighting a peaceful and uneventful stay, which is often a priority for those seeking a relaxing camping experience.
However, this second reviewer also noted that "the bathroom was closed for the season," which is an important piece of information for potential campers. The availability of restroom facilities can significantly impact the camping experience, and seasonal closures should be clearly communicated to avoid inconvenience. This suggests that the level of amenities at Coneflower Campground might vary depending on the time of year.

Coneflower Campground Reviews
This campground has plenty of spots, ranging from primitive to full hookups. We had a 30 amp pull thru site that works well for us. The weeds were a little tall, and it could have been mowed at our site. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the trails and the access to bike trails. Easy to set up and dumping was also easy.
Oct 16, 2024 · Wander AmericaI thought it was just fine. We came in after hours and paid for our spot. Was like $12 total I think. Backed into the gravel parking spot with a fire pit. Was calm and quiet. No issues at all. The bathroom was closed for the season
Dec 15, 2024 · Jacob DunnohewMade me fall in love with fall camping. Gorgeous views, abundant wildlife. 24 hour access and self-registration made the experience even better as we were in the process of moving.
Oct 18, 2023 · Heather YaleyNice quiet clean campground. We were there for the 4th of July. Appreciated keeping the fireworks out of the park so we and our dog could sleep.
Jul 11, 2024 · Robert WuerdemanLove this area. Wish they would make sure all site had a grill grate or grill. My site didnt have one so it made it challenging to cook. Site across has 2. They also need to empty the trash more often. Every time we are out here is is so full!
