Another beautiful Corps of Engineers campground. Nice spacious, level campsites that are spaced apart. Campsites with electric are only $10 ($5 with the America the beautiful/ senior pass ) during the shoulder season and free for primitive campsites January 5-March 14 ( check the USACE website for updates ).So thankful to the Corps of Engineers for keeping the campgrounds at Pomme De Terre Lake open all year.Normally, people that live full time in an RV or Van don't winter in Missouri but with family here this is exactly where I end up spending winter months. Thanks to the Corps of Engineers campgrounds staying open and even having one campground that has electric all year, I am able to come home and celebrate the holidays with my family. There is really no way to express how grateful I am for the Kansas City District USACE.. for making information, prices, locations etc easy to find, for making beautiful campgrounds that keep as many natural features as possible, and for keeping campgrounds open all year. - Rebecca Lents
