Apr 26, 2024 · Christopher SpencerWent camping and had a great time! We only stayed for one night but the bathrooms were clean and the campsites were decent sizes. Only complaint is that none of the grates over the fire laid flat. We checked a few other sites too in case it was just ours. This made it difficult to heat up water for coffee/tea.
May 16, 2024 · Arianna LoganMy family and I had the best time in years!!! Very friendly staff, game wardens, and campers. Looking forward to next year.
Sep 06, 2022 · Michael Hrycko (zappidelle)Difficult to book, confusing to navigate, showers were cold water. Running water was nonpotable, tent sites are sharp gravel. And the rules are overly restrictive. Pretty forest though
Sep 23, 2024 · Bill WalshI have been camping at Green lane campground personally for the last 34 years (yes, since I was a baby). My family has been camping there for over 65 years. It is sad to say that the campground has declined over the years… Examples: The restrooms were cleaned/restocked a few times a day. But in the past few years my family has had to start bringing our own toilet paper, just to make sure we don’t get stuck in the bathroom. Just this weekend: During one of the busiest weekends at the camp ground. 3 out of the 4 bathrooms stalls in the campground were clogged (One of my uncles after searching everywhere for a ranger: Then after we could not find anyone- He went out to purchase what was needed to fix the restrooms). Another thing that the rangers used to do every morning was they would come to each camp site take your trash, and give you a bit of wood to get your day started. 15-20 years ago, the park rangers would come around every hour day/night to make sure that everyone was doing okay. Over the last few years, we have had to deal with people sneaking into the campground, drinking alcohol- being rowdy at all time of the night. Some of my family members have small children. The past few years, I’ve had people sneaking in, setting up a tent, and getting drunk. They were being loud at all hours of the night. It would be nice if the Rangers came around like they used to. To take out the people that aren’t supposed to be there, and remind the people that are registered, please keep it down. Truthfully, If it wasn’t a tradition for my family to gather there to camp, we probably would’ve found a better location. Over the years, we’ve have made many good/great memories at Green Lane. But it’s getting harder: because even with the prices going up, the cleanliness of the bathrooms is lacking and the presence of the Rangers is almost nonexistent.
