Diamond in the Pines Introduce
Are you searching for a "camping near me" experience in the Broken Bow, Oklahoma area that offers ample space and amenities for families or groups? Diamond in the Pines, located at 155 Birch Stone Ln, Broken Bow, OK 74728, USA, presents itself as a potential option. While one reviewer noted having a "great time" and highlighted the cabin as a "great space for families" with "great amenities when they work," they also pointed out several issues encountered during their stay. Conversely, another guest who enjoyed a "family girls get away Labor Day weekend" described the cabin as "Awesome, very comfortable & relaxing" and stated it had "everything a person could need away from home," expressing their intention to return. When considering Diamond in the Pines for your "camping near me" needs, it's essential to weigh these contrasting experiences and the specific details provided in the reviews.
The environment surrounding Diamond in the Pines, situated on Birch Stone Ln in Broken Bow, is likely characterized by the natural beauty that draws many visitors to the region. Broken Bow is known for its pine forests, rolling hills, and proximity to outdoor recreational areas like Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. While the cabin's name, "Diamond in the Pines," suggests a setting amidst these trees, one reviewer did mention that they "did expect the cabins to be a bit further apart," noting that while not as close as a suburb, the cabins in the area were "definitely not alone on a country road." This is an important consideration for those seeking a truly secluded "camping near me" experience and suggests that while surrounded by nature, the cabin might be part of a community of rental properties.
Diamond in the Pines appears to be well-equipped with amenities aimed at accommodating families and groups. The mention of "great space for families" and the availability of "dishes, silverware, and appliances such as fridge, dish washer, blender, electric can opener and coffee maker" indicates that the cabin is set up for self-catering. The added convenience of a "Washer/Dryer both upstairs and downstairs" is particularly beneficial for longer stays or for families with children, making it a practical choice for those looking for a comfortable "camping near me" option with home-like conveniences.
However, the first reviewer detailed several functional issues encountered during their visit. They noted that "google maps couldn’t navigate" them to the location, while Apple Maps could, suggesting a potential difficulty in finding the cabin using certain navigation systems. They helpfully attempted to rectify this on Google Maps for future travelers. This navigational challenge is something to be aware of when planning your trip for "camping near me" at this location. Additionally, they reported a "broken window before we arrived," indicating a possible lack of thorough pre-arrival maintenance.
The functionality of some key amenities also came into question. The reviewer stated that the "hot tub jacuzzi had issues and never could get warm enough to really use," which would be a significant disappointment for guests looking forward to relaxing in a hot tub as part of their "camping near me" experience. They also had "trouble getting the porch outdoor fire place to light a fire," further detracting from the potential enjoyment of the outdoor spaces. Inside, a "shower head leaked at the neck," adding to the list of maintenance concerns. These reported issues suggest that while the cabin offers a good range of amenities, their operational status might need to be verified before or upon arrival.
Regarding outdoor fires, the reviewer pointed out a distinction between the gas-lit fireplace on the porch and the "primitive" fire pit, advising guests to "bring or buy your own fire wood" as none was provided. This is practical information for those planning to use the fire pit for a traditional "camping near me" experience of having a wood-burning fire.
Despite these negatives, the first reviewer mentioned that they "would definitely return," citing the "great space for families" and the potential of the "great amenities when they work." This suggests that the fundamental aspects of the cabin, such as its size, layout, and the range of provided items, are appealing, and the issues encountered might be seen as temporary or manageable. Similarly, the second reviewer's overwhelmingly positive experience underscores the cabin's potential for providing a comfortable and relaxing getaway.
One aspect mentioned by the first reviewer was a "sound curfew in effect at ten," noting that while in place, "not everyone abides," though it "wasn’t awful." This is useful information for those seeking a quiet "camping near me" experience and suggests that while there are guidelines in place, the level of noise from neighboring cabins might vary.
Currently, no specific promotional information or discounts are mentioned in the provided reviews. Individuals interested in booking Diamond in the Pines for their "camping near me" getaway should explore online booking platforms that list the property to find details on pricing, availability, and any potential special offers. Given the mixed feedback regarding the condition of some amenities, it might be prudent to inquire with the property management about the current status of the hot tub, fireplaces, and any ongoing maintenance efforts before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Diamond in the Pines offers a spacious option for families and groups seeking "camping near me" in Broken Bow, with a good range of amenities including a full kitchen and washer/dryers. While one guest reported several functional issues such as navigation difficulties, a broken window, a malfunctioning hot tub, a problematic fireplace, and a leaky shower head, they still found the space appealing for families and would consider returning. Another guest had an "awesome," comfortable, and relaxing experience. Potential renters should be aware of the reported maintenance concerns and the proximity to other cabins in the area. It is recommended to check recent reviews on booking platforms and consider contacting the property management directly for the most up-to-date information and to inquire about the status of the mentioned amenities before booking your "camping near me" stay at Diamond in the Pines.

Diamond in the Pines Reviews
Had a great time as a visit. Oddly enough, google maps couldn’t navigate me to this location but Apple Maps could. I tried my best to add the address to google maps so future travelers wouldn’t run in to this issue en route to any of these cabins as there are multiple in the area. This brings me to a point that I did expect the cabins to be a bit further apart. While not close like a suburb, definitely not alone on a country road. Sound curfew in effect at ten but you might guess that not everyone abides and you’d be correct. But wasn’t awful. Couldn’t give this place a five star. Broken window before we arrived. Hot tub jacuzzi had issues and never could get warm enough to really use. Had trouble getting the porch outdoor fire place to light a fire. Shower head leaked at the neck. And a few other things like this. Having said all this, great space for families. Great amenities when they work. FYI, bring or buy your own fire wood. Gas lit on the porch, but fire pit is primitive. Equipped with dishes, silverware, and appliances such as fridge, dish washer, blender, electric can opener and coffee maker are available. Washer/Dryer both upstairs and downstairs. Would definitely return despite some of the negatives.
